@mbc07 thanks for these, are we supposed to do something with them, or are they here in case people brick their devices?

The FTFs I uploaded recently are exploitable by iovyroot/iovySU. I uploaded them here in case anyone needs to downgrade to an exploitable firmware version, but nothing prevents you from using those FTFs to unbrick your phone in case you need it

It would remove any Vodafone-related customization such as themes or apps, but if your device is SIM locked to accept only Vodafone SIM cards it'll remain locked no matter what FTF you use...

To debrand, flash a generic FTF, like this one. To unlock, contact your operator...

Hi, I've upgraded mine M5 to Andorid 6.0 and didn't like it.
So I've downgraded with XperiFirm soft CDA 1300-5614, Central Europe 5, 30.1.A.1.55 / R3A, but in stock camera app there is not "skin smooth" option.
Is this option in submitted ftf and customization? Sadly I didn't check what customization I've had on stock Android 5.1, and now looking blindly for exact firmware that I had after buying phone.
EDIT: is this firmware it normally upgradable to 30.1.A.1.55? I don't want to go to Marshmallow again...

Yeah, the Kernel from the Acro S has to handle the external SD card. Xperia S Kernel can be flashed but the external storage won't work.

Mine is MALAYSIA, or you can check SI number, same SI means same firmware type.
This ftf is 1266-2796
Check the number at the side of your acro S box. writing SI XXXX-XXXX.X (First 8 digits.)

You can flash any customization you like, but be aware that these are all branded firmwares, so they may contain logos and/or apps from their carrier. Build 10.3.A.1.423 hasn't been released yet for the (unbranded) Generic BR customization. You may also flash one of the unbranded Xperia ZL C6503 firmwares if you like (e.g. Generic DE, Generic SG, etc.), see [INFO] Latest firmware version per customization (region/branding).

Nobody on XDA will be able to tell you when, but Vivo still hasn't released any update until now (they're still on the initial 10.1.A.1.350 firmware!), so it might take a (long) while. You'd better contact them and ask why they haven't released any updates for their Xperia ZQ yet.

You can use any flavor you want, if something goes wrong or if you doesn't like it, just restore back your carrier version. Don't forget to backup your stuff.

All firmware customizations are based on the same generic base system. The only difference is the customization package (containing region-specific apps and settings) that has been added. Unless one of the region-specific bundled apps is causing a lag, switching to a different customization will not make any difference, because the system files are the same.

yes, just download ftf, place it in flashtool - firmware folder, and flash with the pre-determined configurations, dont have to check/uncheck anything else.

For flashing DRM FIX kernel i have to flash 30.2.B.0.100
But in xperifirm there is no 30.2.B.0.100 for any region
Xperia m5 E5663
But i found one on xperia blogspot stated
Xperia m5 E5663 30.2.B.0.100
But in this FTF there is no FSC.script
May be the reason behind it was uploaded in december on that blog
Is it possible to EXTRACT that FTF through winrar
And then create a bundeled FTF with FSC.script through

even if there is no fsc script in it flashtool will still ask if you want to flash one with it. So if it finds one already in it it will just flash it without asking but if there isn't one it will ask if you want to include it with the flash so click yes, and if you click no it will cancel flash. If you want to be on the safe side as you choose the firmware to flash there is a little box in the bottom left corner that says simulate, it will just show you what you happens when you flash
