My brother had a Htc d816h from Dubai Upon some boot issue he got it repaired by local shop there they installed a Chinese Firmware without Playstore . So he gave me the device for my help I put the first firmware found on this page (http://forum.xda-developers.com/android/general/htc-mtk-cpu-flash-files-flashtool-t3114271) Which was unfortunately the same firmware .
But the sad part is IMEI is Missing i didn't anticipated the missing of IMEI . Is there anyway to restore IMEI . Of course legal ways like is there anyway i can request HTC with serial number to Give IMEI that works in UAE . And please provide a Firmware that can be used in DUBAI with playstore . Thanks in advance

I have two voice Gsm numbers in one simcard and I used to change from one to another using simtool kit . but then I upgrade my i-mate Rom(from carrier device) to new version of carrier device . then the prb starts. now if I want to move from one number to the other I ahave to do a soft rest after I choose the number. I cannot navigate between the numbers like I used to. I changed my Rom to T-mobile thinking it will solve the prb but the prb still remains. can any body help. maybe I can hear from Itsme .

I have a diamond unlocked but when I came to turkey after 20 days your phone will not work by the turkish oprator is there any way to change my imei to another that work in turkey.

i've bought a refurbished GT-N7100 , with a 4.1.1 rooted software ( n7100xxalie )
it was working fine for two days . than , i've unrooted it , and its back official again , but it's now having a ( not registerd on network ) problem , it still have the IMEI , and who ever calls me , they hear it rining on there phone , but not mine , i cant call or receive calls , and i have a friend that have's the same problem , after flashing it ! ( note : i eaven tried to flash back the old firmware n7100xxalie , but nothing ) please help me Guys , plz:crying:
If your imei is correct (same as on back of device/billing) and if you are able to make emergency call, chances are there it got network blocked. You need to unlock it.
Or
May be your imei is banned. (in case it was tempered)

thanks for your replay , the carrier assured that there is no problem , and it should work properly , ( note , it was having a 4.1.1 sw philippines iv;e installed the middle east version , then the problem starts , i flashed back the old philippines SW , but than again , still the same problem
No its not carrier side, it's on device.
If there is carrier lock enabled then you can't use device except it was locked for.

Talk to operator if they can information, your imei is not banned

I am new here and want help.i purchase a samsung glaxy note 2 N7100 (used).OS omega rom 4.1.2 and phone show wrong imei but seral number is right.i check the imei at imei checking site .there show its nokia E63 mobile but at orignal imei show samsung note 2. I want to go back at official firmware and restore orignal imei. Its possible??? I check at many sites but mobile is not black listed or sloten.how can it possible i return to orignal?? . Thirdly, Changing IMIE is highly illegal in most countriesand not allowed to be discussed on XDA.
