Yes it is... there's a few things added like CM File Manager, Google Camera instead of the AOSP based camera, some stuff removed like the OTA stuff etc but it is basically the stock ROM with a theme over the top.
I would like to try this rom but i dont have a computer right now is there any way to install it with twrp ? thanx )

With the stock rom, me and many others, have the problem that i can't receive calls when i have 4g (doesn't always auto switch to 3g-2g). Does this rom solve this problem? Does anyone with this rom have this problem?
Is it possible to remove Ledo launcher and go back to something more normal (if that's the right word), I much prefer to decide what folders my shortcuts go in myself, also prefer to have an app drawer for apps I don't have on the home screen?
Edit: Actually, I'll give Ledo Launcher a go for a while and see how I get on. Also just realised I can install another launcher like Nova.

I also have the problem of 4G with stock rom and I'm still waiting for the solution...
Sat here with 4G showing with the notification drawer open, phoned my mobile from my landline, 4G changed to 3G and my phone rung. It stayed on 3G afterwards, but it's not often I get 4G in doors at home anyway. Actually it's now back showing as 4G again. I also drove home from work (only get 3G there) on hands free to home where I get a weak 4G signal and had no issues during the 20 minute call
I decided to go with Nova Launcher, in my opinion it's so much better than Ledo launcher, interface is still slick and fast, only been using the phone for a day and the only negatives I have so far are, the flip case feels cheap and nasty (we need some decent cases!), and the magnet doesn't line up so it doesn't work very well. Wi-fi reception is a lot weaker than my S4, but then this phone does have metal body.
I tried to install twrp with flash tools, i have mac and i used virtual box.Drivers seem to be installed properly.However when i pressed download button nothing happens
Also when i try to use adb my phone isn't listed with adb devices

Can you let me know if the rom works? I got the same issue
@Anscience look at post 17, I've already said it works for me. I've also just tested again, phone was showing 4G, I made a call and it switched to 3G
@chtsarts, did you try the later version of Flash Tools see this post http://forum.xda-developers.com/ele...-stock-rom-t3359315/post66728408#post66728408 Also I had to download it twice before it worked, not sure if I did something wrong the first time, as everything seemed to go smoothly.

How can I try it without re-flashing the RO-oh WTH I'll flash it again and edit this post ASAP.
Edit: It works! BTW I've been using this build since noon and battery life seems to have improved a bit. At least it doesn't get hot as hell when the display is on anymore. The camera (or the touchscreen, dunno exactly) did hung up on me once though, but now it's mostly a daily driver. Thanks again!
Thanks for this wonderful ROM. Is there any custom Kernel which works for this PA-5 ROM. I cannot see fast charge been enabled with this ROM and battery is not as good as well. So, want to try my luck with custom kernel. But there is none I can see for PA-5.

i installed it too, and it works great. But i have a few Questions. Where can i change Lock Screen Settings? I must swipe up, to get the pattern Unlock. Second, i installed 2 Month again TWRP from here Klick Klack, and after flashing Kernel, it is still there. How can i get your TWRP? Third, a little Thing i found, that in the advanced Boot Menu, there is no translation. Fourth, is it possible to Set Custom Widgets on Lock Screen? And at last, thanks for your great work!!

It works fine for flashing non device specific things, but when it comes to flashing those things (such as ROMs) it throws something similar to Status 7 error since it was originally intended for yuga, not odin. Something similar happened to XZDualRecovery a while back.
Is there any GPS icon bug in this ROM. I cannot see the icon going away from notification bar even I turn off GPS.
Oh, you're right. I believe there is. I turned location on and opened maps and I could get a lock withouth the location icon on the status bar.

After a Day of use, the Auto brightness didn't work correct. It is mostly to dark, and the response time is to slow. Wifi disconnect randomly from Router if it is in use. Sorry fpr the bad English!!
So far the rom is working really fast, only two problems so far
1 - my microphone doesn't seem to work on calls, i will try to see if it works on skype or facebook but on phone calls no one can hear me
2 - sometimes when adjusting brightness while listening to some music or video result in a screen flickering

Had the same problem with the mic with validus but since the last release jan. 6 from Alx its gone.

why with this rom there is no normal recovery ??

How to install?
CLICK TO HIDE CONTENT
Turn off your device
Flash stock .236 through Flashtool
Flash a TWRP recovery through adb or ADB Run
Boot into TWRP recovery
Wipe cache, dalvik, data
Choose downloaded zip and click install it
You will see aroma on Chinese language. Don't be afraid! Choose in first section first variant and in second section choose your model. For C6903/6902 you wil need 1 variant. Then click next!
On this page DON'T choose any variant of installing. Then click next. On next page DON'T choose all variants too.
Then wait for install
Installed! Disable auto-reboot on last page, and then click exit. Done!
Boot into system

Hello .. The rom is working great .. Thank you for your hard work .. The rom is smooth and fast .. I absolutely Love the looks .. No major bugs except the camera .. I can't get it to focus and I can't even take a picture with it .. Found a bug in the time zone settings .. It gets stuck on chinese time zone even If I changed it to any of the time zones in the list .. And even after a reboot It changes to eastern European summer time .. Can't change it after that .. And one more thing .. The M Rom settings tab is in chinese language .. Can we expect a translation in the future if I may ask ? Thank you so much for your hard work and your time

If u decrease the brightness, did u notice the screen become like the brightness high and low. I already turn off the adaptive display
New bug found. When u set the lockscreen, then your messeging app will restart UI everytime u want to create new message. Also happen on stamina mode smart notification. I need to lock my phone but those bug cause uncomfortable for me

Already replaced. 2g? U mean when u set 2g its not appear? Im not sure as i only set LTE. But when in low signal area its automatically H+ and E.. So means 3g and 2g seems fine.

you build so many roms without mentioning their known bugs i don't know about other people but i wont go through flashing a rom if i don't even know if the camera works

Camera working. Everything works as well as on any ROM's Android 9.0

Camera doesn't work at my device. But it can found in AIDA64. What happen?
In my opinion, the biggest defect is lack of keyboard support

Fine ROM. Just installed today. No bugs found yet except one - notification sound picker crashes as soon as I open it. Suggest fix. I don't need any notification sound.

My regards mr Raschad, i've tested your latest Pixel Experience Rom and noticed many bugs and issues within it, 1) notification lamp not working or blinking correctly when new notification recieved, 2) a small delay happens when an incoming call from screen echo and on lockscreen mode, 3) Heavy performance experience either Ram usage or cpu i bet this is caused from some google apps like wellbeing service, so i strongly suggest to not including Gapps in your next release, 4) some heating with battery drain happens occasionally also a crash happen with youtube vanced app, other than that this is my Logcat file to check it please, and thanks a lot.

Thank you for your great rom update but there are some notices :
1 - the devices sometimes when i restart device stucks in the google display page .
2 - notification led when chraging still red untill reaches 90 % then turn to green .
3 - when installing facebok app the device enters the booting loop and the same thing in the extended rom and rr rom.
4 - when use mobile data the device get very hot .
5 - when i try to change my ringtone , sound app stops and get out it is very annoying
these notices i faced till now
i want you to make battery and carrier style as in iphone

Good to see some stock rom development for the mi 8 pro! My handset is currently on 10.3.3 Global, do I just need to do a factory reset in TWRP for this to work fully or do I need to flash back to the stock 10.3.2.2 first?

no need to flash back
just make a backup and do a full wipe then flash the rom.
this rom have more features than global rom
im using it as daily drive, bo bug no crash... any!
Hey, thanks for the rom! Question: I have a Mi 8 Explorer Edition, which as far as I know is exactly the same as the Pro. Do you think this ROM will work on this device if I change the device name so it 'looks like' the Pro?

as far as i know your ((3d face id)) gone!
just can use the fingerprint scanner.
if you have no problem. you can flash it.
im not test it, but saw somewhere that flash mi8 pro build on Mi 8 explorer!

Hi, I get to the mi logo and I'm in a loop, is it something to do with the latest firmware having the vendor prebuilded and if so how do I get around this? I know the havok os rom for the mi 8 provides a force encryption zip for roms after 07/06/19 otherwise they will get a mi logo loop. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

After I flash this room.. I'm having issue with Google play.. it won't let me install with WiFi... Unless I have to use data charges... How to fix this.. I already turn the app download preference to using any network...
