Play Youtube audio with CCA? - Chromecast Audio

As you probably know, the Chromecast Audio does not support Youtube. Would there be any way to hack the CCA device to make it play Youtube audio? Perhaps make it identify itself as a regular Chromecast device, or something like that.
Any ideas on this subject?

I can play youtube audio by Amaze Browser to Chromecast Audio. Open the video, Amaze Browser detect the video and then press "Play on Chromecast" it works for me.

[Q] No sound from recorded videos when playing on computer.

When I record a video with my Evo, I tried MPEG4 and H.264, the videos record just fine on the phone and also play back like they are supposed to. When I transfer the files to play on my laptop though, there is no audio that plays with the files. I don't know if this is just a windows media player issue. Windows 7, Home premium 64 bit. Does anyone else have this problem? It did the same thing when I owned my Hero.
Same issue here as well. hmmmm
I just did a test, loading a video to youtube, and the sound plays just fine on youtube also. This leads me to believe it's a codec issue with the WMP

Youtube audio out of sync. How about you?

So are any of you having issues with audio being out of sync with youtube videos? It's not just on the youtube app that I have this problem, I also have it when I play youtube through flash (Youtub.com). The video and audio are very noticeably out of sync. I've seen many threads with HTC devices having similar issues. But haven't seen anyone with a GS3 report such an issue. Now when I watch and mkv video, all is fine. It's only the youtube app and youtube.com.
Are you streaming the audio to a bluetooth device?

Well looks like bluetooth was the issue. Video/audio is in sync on the phone and headphones. Thanks.

[Q] HDMI experience - audio out problem

I have been playing with HDMI out. Using official Samsung adapter EPL3FHU and TV Panasonic TH-42PX80E. So far I cannot get out audio consistently.
When connected first time, I had system sound off, so I could see picture, but no audio (form system) as expected. When playing movie with BSPlayer, VLC, or MX I got audio out of built-in speaker though (and not through TV).
Reconnected with system sound on, I could get system plonks and boings out of TV. Playing songs from Neutron was fine as well. Even playing original Samsung demo video via VLC produced sound on TV.
Then I tried one .mkv with DTS (which plays fine in BSPlayer with sound on internal speaker) and the sound through HDMI stopped working. Then I tried again Neutron, VLC, but I could not get even the apps that were working, working them again. System sounds are fine though.
And so far I was not able to recover.
It looks like there are some incompatibilities, probably between some players, sound formats which break one part of sound path (but not all, as system clicks are still transported correctly). And this break seems to be kind of permanent, until some reset. But simple reboot does not solve this.
I wonder what I might be missing.
I can partially reply to myself. The problem is that some players (it seems BSPlayer, and MX do that) cannot play DTS through HDMI (though BSPlayer can play it through internal speaker) and for some reason it resets volume settings for multimedia to zero (i.e. no sound). Once I realized that and "reenabled" volume for multimedia, it seems fine for Neutron, VLC and system sounds.
VLC can even play DTS through HDMI out, but for some reasons suffers from sound being out of sync with video.
So now the question remains, what is good video player, which can get out DTS through HDMI out.
Have you been able to get multichannel audio out HDMI?

[Q] Facebook app only plays audio for videos

When I try to play a video in the facebook app, all i get is audio playing, and a notification in front of the play button that says, playing audio only.
Does anyone know about this or do they have a fix?

Fire TV 2 video playback issues

My AFTV2 will not playback video from any source without the playback pausing/stopping for about 1-2 seconds all through the movie. No matter what the source whether streaming from my NAS or streaming from an app, any app. I play the same video back on my AFTV1 and it plays fine. I can't even play 720 video back clean let alone 1080p. I am rooted on 5.0.4 I was thinking of unrooting and going back to 5.0.3 but I would rather not have to do that. Anyone else having issues with video playback on AFTV2? or can anyone suggest what I can try to correct it. I have already tried playing back video using MX Player and VLC. I thought VLC might work because its the one from Amazon Play Store but the result is the same. It's really driving me crazy because it happens all the time. The reason I got the AFTV2 was because I thought I would get cleaner playback of video based on the new hardware, but my AFTV1 which is also rooted blows it out of the water. The Fire TV 2 is connected to a powerline adapter, but I tested it connected directly to my router and the result was the same. Even on the powerline adapter my speed test is about 19-24 mbps which should be fast enough to playback video smoothly. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.

So.....no one else has problems with video playback on the AFTV2? If not then maybe it's my particular box that has a problem...

I just stream using Kodi & some addon sources you will get buffering problems but to be honest it's fine when you get a nice stream.

thanks for the reply. Yes I use Kodi as well, and you're right you have to have a good stream first. But even when I stream movies from my NAS in Kodi, or select a stream from an addon that's say MQ it still stutters throughout the movie. When I play the same movie, same stream, from my AFTV1 it plays perfectly fine. I know I have a fast enough internet connection. It just seems strange to me that the AFTV2 with the more powerful hardware can't come close to the AFTV1 when it comes to video playback. Even Netflix stutters.
