Leather Pouches - HTC 10 Accessories

Is anyone using leather pouch with their 10?? I never use cases with my phones but I wouldn't mind a good pouch for when I set down the phone.. I've read about Fitbag.. Are they any good? Thanks

Hi there,
I purchased a fit bag leather pouch from Amazon last week and I am quite happy with it. I had other fitbag pouches for my Xperia z1 before and was happy with them as well. The inlaid micro fiber tissue cleans the screen quite well everytime you pull out the phone.
In my opinion the pouch looks really nice. Here is a picture:

The only thing a bit worrysome is the fact that the pouch is still quite thight and I fear that the milled Power Button might tear the micro fiber inlay in the future. In that case though there is a 2 year warranty on the product.

Thank you for your reply. It does look really nice! I might get one of those. I don't want to put a case on my phone..

I've got a fitbag for mine too.
Bit tight at first but it's getting better.

Hmm.. Looks nice. Haven't really bothered with phone bags since early noughties.
The fitbag in your pictures, is that an alcantara fitbag or one of their real leather models?
Seems like real leather, either the Folk or Beat but can't be 100% sure these days so I'll ask anyway

It's the real leather (Nappa) one in black.
I had an Alcantara one for my z1 and I liked it, too.
That one showed a bit of wear at the corners though after two months.

The only feverish one I could find is HTC 10 Case, Leather Case, Pouch, Holster, Wallet Case, Protective Case, Phone Case - Vertical Pouch Case WITHOUT Belt Clips (Black) by Pdair https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B01EL6R8Z8/ref=cm_sw_r_em_apa_y7Goxb8S9DGGB

Plastic Case Review

So I just got another new case.
I got it from eBay seller augustonline for $3.89 w/ free shipping.
http://cgi.ebay.com/Black-Rubber-Ha...000-GALAXY-S-/150475142893?pt=PDA_Accessories
This is similar to the mesh snap-on case that others have posted about. It's a single piece that snaps on to the back of the phone. The material is hard plastic but it has a bit of a rubberized feel which provides just a little grip.
The fit is perfect. And, unlike the mesh case, it does not have the awkward cutout for the TV antenna that the Korean cases have.
As others have pointed out with this type of case, it does not provide full protection for all sides. I was also concerned about this, but found that it wraps around the edges just enough to protect the face of the phone. So, if you place it face-down the phone doesn't touch. Also, the corners are protected but the top and bottom are exposed.
It's a solid color with no branding so if you really like the Galaxy S logo, you won't be able to see it with this case.
All in all, this is a nice case and if you like this type of case, I would definitely recommend it. It fits well, has a nice clean look to it, and is less than $5. I think this will be my daily driver for a while (or until some positive reviews of the SGP Slider case start coming in).
Sweet as I was wondering whether the fit would be good or not, so thats good news
Can't wait for my orange one to get here!
Cool good to know it fits perfectly i ordered a green one of these almost two weeks ago i should be receiving it any day now
The case isn't bad for $4 (or the $8 I paid from a US seller), but don't expect it to hold up for very long. The rubberized texture is wearing off after less than a week.

I was just thinking about updating this post when I saw your reply. I noticed this morning that the rubberized coating is coming off on the corners of the case. It's not very noticeable at the moment, but I imagine it will start to peel off everywhere in the not so distant future.
For me the case is temporary until SGP gets their stuff together, but I don't think I would recommend this case to anyone that is looking for long-term protection.
that looks pretty gnarly. I have the snap on two piece case from T-Mobile. With the chrome bezel and rubbery back. Once I get bored of it I'll have to try that one.

Love this case so far. Especially with my custom logo! =D
There is no player on the warriors with the number 89. That's just the number I like personally.
I don't think this can be compared to mesh case. The quality of the korean mesh case is awesome. That is why it is like 20 bucks.

Luxmo DInc2 TPU Case Review

So I went out on a limb and bought the Luxmo HTC Incredible 2/ 6350 Mix Protector Case in black from Overstock.com
I knew I wanted a TPU case based on the reviews some of you already posted, and I really liked the look of this case with the mixed glossy and matte finish...so I pulled the trigger . Both finishes are really very clean, especially the matte part- it seems like its an extension of the original phone surface (and just as flexible as any other TPU). No issues with fit, the case is snug all around. All cutouts align appropriately, and the volume rocker and power buttons are molded which gives them the added stiffness so they aren't pressed accidentally. Finally, the grips on the side make it especially study in your hand.
Check out the pics (sorry I wasn't able to take photos of the case on the phone...my phone is my only camera at the moment). Hope this helps!
Wow, good looking case. Is it still easy to slip in and out of pockets?
Edit: oh well, just ordered one. Cheap too.
Sent from my ADR6350VW
It fits very snug around the phone so its not much more bulk, and like other TPU cases it isn't clingy to your clothing like silicone is. So overall I'd say it's still relatively easy to take in an out of my pocket.
i ordered on ebay. still waiting for mine. these "s-line" tpu cases seem very popular. theres one for many other phones.
I loved mine when I had my thunderbolt so I had to get one for this phone too. I love the side grips on this case.

Wow, pretty good case, better than most tpu cases ive seen. You can actually use the buttons still without squeezing the life out of the phone. I haven't been a case guy in the past, but i think this converted me

i got mine today and again it did not disappoint. fits perfect. looks great. i had this same type of case on the evo 3d and iphone4 before too.
Just ordered mine today. I picked up two of these for $6 on ebay.
I have a TPU gloss that I've been using since I got my Dinc2 and love it. The matte looks even better.....I'm not real into the shiny look! Ordering now!

Otterbox vs CaseMate vs Incipio for the GN

Best? Worst?
Pros and Cons?
Obivously it's a little early to have a ton of info on each (at least in the states) but I'm sure this thread will prove useful as more people at theirs.
I didnt make it out of the parking lot with the Otterbox. It's a great case and I feel like I could throw my phone off a building without any damage. However I didnt notice how much girth it added to the phone until I tried to put it in my pocket.. things a tank. Easily doubles the width, so keep that in mind if its important to you.
I have the casemate toughcase. Originally i liked it but now not so much. The silicone was a dust and pocket lint magnet and it started peeling up corners of my zagg screen protector. It just didnt fit right but i have the gsm gnex which is a tad thinner. I tested the otterbox in a vzw store tonight and i hated it. Everytime i touched the screen the protector made little tap like noises because it wasnt touching the screen. Again....i think its because the otterbox is made for the LTE nexus. I have the diztronic tpu case in matte black and also the smoke color and ive been happy with them so far. They also do not add any bulk. I have to wonder why anyone would want to get a thin and light phone only to add a bulky looking case?
I have the casemate tough case, I don't mind the dust trapping cuz it really doesn't do anything. I have the gsm version, the top and bottom part is a tinyyyy bit loose, but also doesn't bug me. The thickness is perfect and i think its as much protection as i need so... I hope that helps :0
I have case mate tough and pop case, and I highly recommend the pop case, the design, protection, feel, it sums up as the best case for me...I use otterbox for most of my devices, and the case mate pop case does not lack any of the protection compare to otterbox

I just ordered a case mate pop. How does it seal around the front face (glass)?
Also, does the part that seals to the glass attack lint?
What about a screen protector? What is best one that doesn't make the screen feel or look weird?

I've had the Pop for other phones. It's a nice case, my only complaint about that series is the side rubbers. They tend to wear off as time goes on and starts becoming loose.
Provides excellent protection though.
I don't have the phone yet (ordered online) but I bought the incipio case for it earlier today. Anyone else tried it on their LTE GNex? Thoughts? I didn't see a Otterbox case for it at the Verizon store.
I got the incipio case with mine when I picked it up earlier. So far, I like it, its real tight fitting and doesn't add a whole lot of thickness. Only downside is the silicone around the edges is a lint magnet while in the pocket

I have the incipio case and really like it. Fits snugly around my GSM Nexus and isn't too big. I had the Case Mate tough case with my S II and just found it too big

Sedio has some really nice cases. I have had one for nearly 2 years now for my original Droid. It has protected it well although it did crack eventually after many drops.
I also bought the sedio car mount/charger and really liked that as well.
Sedio is a bit pricey... 2 years ago the car charger mount was at least $50 and the case was $20-$25. It was a very thin form fitting case that is plastic but has a almost rubbery feel to it. Very tough and it barley added any thickness to my Droid which was amazing. Guess that is why it was so pricey.
I got the shell holster charger combo when I ordered my GN yesterday... waiting for it to arrive... as patiently as I can!
I tried the Otterbox in the VZW store on my GNex -- certainly looked industrial and protective, but it made the phone huge. The Incipio seemed like a good compromise - the rubber inner part goes on easily, and the plastic snap-over layer keeps it nice and snug to the phone. The egde protrudes just enough so that you can place the phone glass down without the glass touching a table - perfect.
No screen protector yet - and I may not. It may not be Gorilla Glass, but it's been shown to be "fortified", and I won't put it in my pocket with keys or change... The Incipio seems like a good choice so far...
Anyone have a link for the black Case-Mate Pop case? I can only seem to find the white one.
EDIT: Nevermind, I'm an idiot

The Defender (The more expensive, bigger one) or the Commuter?
So I've already ordered the Case Mate Tough, because I didn't know there was a Pop for the Nexus yet.
They don't show it listed on the actual Case Mate site Nexus page.
What are the differences between the Tough and the Pop?

I have the Otterbox Commuter for my Razr and it looks like the silicone shares the same properties of picking up everything in my pocket. lol
I really like the Case-Mate Tough Case which I had with my HTC Sensation and it didn't pick up as much lint as the Otterbox commute or now possibly the Incipio.
I can't wait for my phone to arrive so I can finally try for myself.
Thanks!

Commuter or Defender?
the question is which of these fit the GSM Version well.
Diztronic only $10 from eBay. Perfect fit and no bulkiness added.

Best TPU Case Imo

http://www.ebay.com/itm/TPU-Cases-S...s=63&clkid=5450595014366325529#ht_2001wt_1139
i think this is the best tpu case i have ever gotten for any of my phones.
TPU cases usually cover the buttons and make it very difficult to press buttons, or may be slightly too big for the phone so its not a snug fit.
This case that i got for the phone fits it perfectly, no loose sides, its tight just like how a condom should be
PROS, buttons are cut out, and its matte, great feel, fits perfectly
CONS, 10 bucks for a tpu case?? >:[ being that usually they're $2-5!
buy it! im happy with the case check it out!
I second this; it's a nice case (I don't have any experience with other cases, though). I got it from Amazon.com for around $6.
I will also second that, great case, I also have the trident aegis which is great when I am at work, other wise I change to this case when I am at home.
yep...great case still one of my favorites
Agree! this case is amazing. I also have the D30 from T-mobile store. Both are very good. But the D30 offers more protection.
I have this case as well. I got it on amazon for $11
Fits very well, all buttons are easily accessible. I also bought an Xtremeguard screen protector (screen, back, and 4 sides) but with this case the back and sides are superfluous. Smarter shopping and you could probably get a screenprotector + this TPU case for about $12 and get great protection for your phone.
i agree, this is the best tpu case ive ever owned or used. its cut outs for the buttons make it feel like the case isnt even there and its super thin and fits great. i got mine for 11 on amazon but i got the smoked clear one. here is some pics if it helps anyone out. just make sure u get the Revision 2 one. because i guess the first cases they made blocked the mic at the bottom. u can see in my pics that mine isnt blocked because its the Revision 2 version which they fixed that issue

It's actually not slippery at all. There is a bit of tacky-ness to it from the TPU material.

Disappointed with my SGP Spigen Neo Hybrid Case

So after seeing pictures of it for a while and finally seeing peoples reviews for the case i finally bought the infinity white case. I already had a couple of ebay cases while i was waiting to get something a little more "premium" so i pulled the trigger on the Neo Hybrid. I received it today and have to say it is not what i expected.I already knew about the buttons being too sensitive and the case being more purple than blue so no surprises there, but being advertised as a tpu case i thought this would fit the phone much more tightly the way every tpu case ive ever bought off of ebay for $2 has felt. the tpu portion of the case was either made too large or from a different kind of material because it feels loose on the phone to me. the bumper that goes around the case is meant to keep the tpu tight to the phone, and perhaps add another layer of protection but it tpu along the front of the screen feels very loose and is even a bit sharp to the touch because of its square shape. this is the case i had been using for the past month and i loved the feel, but not so much the look of it. I actually couldnt decide which color i wanted and bought the orange one as well a couple of days ago and it looks like ill be sending them both back in favor of my $4 ebay case.
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Black-PC-TP...670415?pt=PDA_Accessories&hash=item1e6f7fe08f
Just a quick question, did you get the Neo Hybrid Lumi or the Color?
it was the color series with the purple/blue case and white bumper frame, now i have an orange lumi on order and i can only assume it is going to have the same feel to it. way more bummed about how loose the case feels and the way the rim around the screen is really jagged feeling and not rounded at all.
I've got an orange Lumi coming in today, I'll post anything if it disappoints. They looks so damn good in the pictures, especially with the white GS3. I just had to pull the trigger

the case looks nice but be ready not to use it or modify it so the buttons work. I already emailed them and sent pics in. The little bumpers are way to high so it causes the sensitivity to go through the roof
I don't have one yet but I am very disappointed in the colour selection. How can you not have a black/black like all the others before it? The old ones never sagged on me so I personally want a black/black with the good old silicon and polycarbonate frame.
Don't see it happening though.
SGP products suck in terms of "fit", I had an ultra thin air for my SII, the worst case ever, since then I decided not to purchase sgp again.
Case Mate for the win!!! Very recommended!!! Great quality and fit!!!

I ordered their leather pouch because I seriously loved their screen protectors. The pouch was so tight I had to use a razor blade to cut the seams to remove my phone. The pull tab broke off as I was trying to remove my phone with it.
i think theres something to be said for mass producing cases. all the generic ebay tpu cases seem to fit perfect, havent had an issue yet. they all fit nice and snug, cutouts are perfect, the buttons arent as tactile and clicky as more expensive cases but theyre still easy to press
I agree with the OP, I got the neo hybrid lumi in green and I think that this case just feels cheaply made, this is definitely not worth paying $26. My cheap tpu case I got off eBay for 3 bucks is 100 times better than this. The camera cut off holes for this aren't even properly aligned and the case does not fit the phone very well. And also with the issue with the buttons. I highly suggest that no one should buy this case. It's a terrible case and cheaply made and over priced. I'm disappointed with the way this case turned out. I put a bad review on SGPs website to warn other buyers but they would not even post my review. Screw you SGP lol

Hey Angie have you had any other cases for your gs3? If you notice while the case is on the phone the bit that runs around the edge of the screen can be moved very easily. The band is what makes the case stick to the phone and difficult to take off. My dislike is with the actual tpu case. Which is much more flimsy and soft than most tpu cases
no the band is the only thing that fits the phone well, im referring to the bit on tpu that sticks out past the band around the edge of the front glass, if you nudge it at all its very lose and also is very angular and uncomfortable to touch
angie4u said:
that is so weird because i have no issues with the cameras and holes not aligning with the cutouts, as you can see from the pictures. And the fit is very snug. This is my first SGP case purchase so did I just get lucky? I haven't use the Incipio so I cant compare the two but in terms of bulkiness, I don't find this to be bulky at all. it's very thin and sleek. However, if you are looking for something that's very durable, this might not be the case for you.
Click to collapse
Yeah I think you did get lucky, because the cut out on mine was not even centered like how it is with yours. The holes on mine came down more to where the camera, lights and speakers are. And in the front, the top part of the tpu covered the silver bezel but hardly covered the bottom part. Close enough to where it looks like the tpu was sagging. I was so pissed that I literally wanted to cover the case in gasoline and burn it for how ****ty, it was lol. I honestly think that the feel of the case just feels so cheap. I have a few other tpu cases I purchased on eBay at a much cheaper price that felt more of a high quality than that piece of crap that sgp made lol. But alas, I returned it back to sgp with an e-mail stating that they did a piss poor job with the case lol.
Sent from my SGH-T999 using xda app-developers app
I guess I'm another of the lucky ones. My cutouts fit perfect, and I have no issues (besides the whole oversensitive buttons issue) but I can relate to the whole "looseness" thing.
As far as TPU cases go, the NeoHyb is definitely not cut to be "tight-fitting" like the some of the other TPU cases I've seen. Without the band, the TPU base IS loose fitting.
With the plastic band though, the entire assembly is tight enough that any attempts to pull it off usually takes the battery cover along with it.
Also, the TPU is more pliable and softer then most other TPU cases I've seen, which makes the "loose" feeling even worse, but I take it it's made that way for better impact absorption.
It's definitely not soft and stretchy like silicone though, which I hate.
So, is the NeoHybrid a perfect case? No. The plastic band is too thin, too slippery. The TPU back is not rough enough. The buttons don't really work without modifications. The TPU rim around the screen, as the OP said, feels "sharp" enough out of the box to be slightly uncomfortable.
Yet, for some God forsaken reason, I like the bloody bugger and I think 20 odd dollars is a fair price for it - considering I've dropped the phone a couple of times already and the case has been doing what it's paid for with aplomb.
YMMV though.
I DO have the Incipio Faxion - another TPU/Polycarb hybrid case I've seen out there - on order though, and plan to do a comparo as soon as it arrives.
Considering I got both at around the same price, it should be an interesting comparison.
I think people are being unreasonable here. This case isn't supposed to be as hard as other TPU cases. That is why there is a polycarbonate hard frame. The whole design philosophy of the Neohybrid is super soft inside with hard shell structural support. I am glad they went for the silicon feel.
The capdase soft jacket feels basically like silicon for anyone going for that type of case. The modello is quite hard by the way. Almost as rigid as a hard snap on shell.

I ordered it straight from SGP when they were doing the pre orders. So I'm pretty sure it's genuine unless they're lying and are just making some fake products.
