Hello, I was using Exodus rom on my 5x and loved the camera app (Snap Camera). I switched to DU ROM, which, I do not enjoy the camera app all that much. I have tried to rip the camera app out of exodus rom, and do a titanium back up and restore it, neither ways have worked. When I go to install the apk from the rip (and other files) I get a force close. When I do the restore in titanium backup, it just hangs and goes no where. Could someone help me get this app to install and work on DU ROM

Does anyone have the file for this in apk format? I was on an AOSP ROM and installed the lenovo super camera. However now I've gone back to stock and my camera app is crashing. It looks like its trying to boot the lenovo camera, but this only works in aosp. An apk for the camera or any knowledge in how to fix this would be greatly appreciated!
I am guessing you did not clean flash the new ROM and that is why you are having issues with the camera.
And to answer your question such an apk does not exist yet.

I'm using RM5 plus, I am using this phone running mokee rom, lineage, aosp, viper, rr rom
The interesting thing is I tried replacing the snapdragon camera with google camera by root explorer. it runs so well, not error, not stop.
I rooted device and use root explorer delete folder "Snap" of original camera in system/priv-app and install Google camera here. Cut folder of Google camera in data/app into system/priv-app. Reboot device
does this work on stock miui global rom?

im using an inofficial lineage os 15.1 version for my samsung galaxy s4 mini.
a few days ago an update for the stock camera app appeared in aptoide (no extra stores added) and i installed it. since then the camera app just crashes with a message saying the app was closed and an option to open it again (resulting in crashes again). of course i tried a reboot - didnt help. also: camera still works in other apps.
is there any way to reinstall the original version? or to fix this?

It's a system APP. So disabling and deleting data should remove your update.

thank you! that actualy solved it! it was replaced with the stock camera app. enable it again and it all works well.
