I recently got a LG Optimus Pad for my wife. As it is running pretty much stock 3.0.1 and does not seem to be on the list for 3.2 from LG. Does anyone know if there is someone working on porting ICS 4.0 to this device seeing that 4.0 is open source does anyone know of a project to port this to the LG tablet? Or if anyone some info on even getting the japanese port of 3.2.
Hi, I am wondering if it is possible to rip the tiny Google Now app from the Optimus G as well as their QuickMemo integration. I am guessing the QuickMemo might be bound to the OS though, just like so many Sense features are for HTC.
On that note do any Devs know if it is possible to port LG ROMs to Hercules or is this pretty much impossible like with Sense?

I think you're confusing the G Pad 8.0 with the G Pad 8.3. This is the forum for the 8.3. I know, it sounds confusing, but apart from almost the same screen size, the internals differ a lot.

There is NO forum for the LG G PAD F 8.0 (V495)... This is the closest forum that currently exists.

There is custom CM13 by @invisiblek in the General section, but it doesn't work very well.
