Thank for a great Custom ROM flashing experience. This is my very first complete Android medication. I went solo.
I am still a newbie, but I am no longer "wet behind the ear!" I had trouble with installing CM 7.2-RC1 and an XDA member pointed me into the direction for this weekly. It flashed like a charm. No problems! It is play time now!!
good job man!!! so far so good...just one thing, when phone rings because a call incoming if I press vol up or vol down the phone stop ringing, i mean can't reduce or increase the volumen of the ring when the phone is ringing...

two questions about this build.
Hello,
Since flashing this rom, my phone has 2 issues.
1) The touch screen is very sensitive and will sometimes become unstable and will make phone calls, send messages etc. on its own. There are problems with the keypad entering a string of letters own its own.
2) Before flashing this rom, I was able to access P350's hidden menu. Now I am unable to open it. I get this message: "Connection problem or invalid MMI code." Any suggestions?
I have backed up the phone and re-booted several times, but the two issues above still remain.
Any help will be greatly appreciated!!
Nick

The recovery is not only giving a blue screen, it doesn't even wipe or flash anything. It does absolutely nothing! On the 4pda forum there is a surmise that phones made in China work well with the new recovery, whether the phones manufactured in Vietnam get stuck on the blue screen.
Please, guys, confirm this! TIA

remove your battery and you'll see a sticker with "made in xxx by samsung" written on it. Some devices have only "made by samsung", which is still not clear to which country it belongs.
so far every one, who have a Vietnam-made phone, confirm to have a blue screen in recovery. This makes it very hard to flash the cm11. I've managed to do it via sideload function
Every other phone's owners (made in China or Korea) are happy to run a bugless cwm.
I installed recovery
I installed the ROM Jenkins

What is AOSP?
AOSP is Android as Google publish without other modifications. More or less AOSP is the Nexus devices stock rom without gapps.
Anyway to get a working system I added some changes from CodeAurora Forum and CyanogenMod. I added also 3 non-AOSP features for a better user experience (Advanced Reboot, "Clear All" button in Recents and an option to delete screenshots from the notification area) and I'm NOT going to add something other.
Features
- Pure AOSP
- what? it's pure AOSP (based on Slim and caf) man,no extra shieet!!

Just search for lux, then select it.
As in most other cm13 roms, when using pin lockscreen and quick unlock, the last few digits are very laggy

How is this different from squid's cm13 rom?
Android Version difference?
Or
Kernel difference?

A big feature difference, from ambient display modifications to system animations
When changing apps you still see much of the last one disappearing. Its a bit annoying in settings though.

You should check your setup. There is an app or setting slowing your phone. Not a rom issue

Still something else. Or give it some to settle. I have tested and it did run smooth from the beginning. Now after a day it runs even better

Hmm, same here. So let's say, you go to settings and to sound and press the back button. You don't see the sound menu falling down in the background?
Edit: Made a screen cap: https://owncloud.lebsanft.org/index.php/s/zzaC3qlfPadtdZE
Don't know if this is normal behaviour, i never found it annoying before so something must be different. It guess it's a bit too laggy for me to ignore it as smooth fading

It tried the steps you told me 10 times. It lagged a little for 2 times, the other times it animated smooth. Maybe changing the animation in temasek spare parts --> system animations will help
