A you install cwm on your phone? When you flash a rom via cwm kernel is already present and settled in the same time as the rom

If you are flashing ROM with Odin it includes everything. No need to flash separately.
I've never used TWRP but with cwm or odin everything is included in the file you flash. You want to install a Custom ROM or original?

agree @ dr ketan iam new too for note 2..but i flash and rooted as he has describd in his thread ....an all is fine wivouta a glitch...

i want install custom rom.
Choose one that suits you and then you follow the tutorial, I think that there is no big difference between TWRP and cwm. Do not forget to make a backup just in case. Then do the wipe and flash rom's that you have chosen. And enjoy

i already done my factory reset (mega wipe)and also done backup but unfortunately i forgot to copy to ext card
i lost my data and my phone is '0'
You just install the rom you want now. You to choose which one?

CM10.1 nightly but my start up flicker at bootamination
You should try to install CM10 before moving to version 10.1

I just brought E975 and it came with E975f stock rom (german ROM)
Since im in France i flash E975i stock ROM and now everything work great and 4g is working great
But stock ROM is ugly and 4.1 only
So I root with framaroot then install twrp with freegee
Then I try to flash some ROM but until now I didn't find and good ROM
Cm11 M4 (need to force 4g but WiFi is not working)
Cm 10.2 same as cm11
Miui v5 working great but can't browsing online even with other browser (Firefox or other... Blank page)
Most of rom I try I have trouble and I'm lost ......
So I'm back with E975i stock ROM
Why this phone is pain in the ass with custom ROMs ?

i try omni-4.4.2-20131220-geehrc-HOMEMADE .... but same problem .... no 4G
but i finally install Cm11 and seem working great now
i reflash stock rom E975i, then root and install TWRP then i flash CM11.zip (NO WIPE !!)
and when flash CM11 is finished i wipe only Data and cache/davlkit and now CM11 is working great !!!
could someone explain why after full wipe/factory reset, CM11 is not working on my french E975 ???
im so confuse with this phone

Are you absolutely sure it works on rooted, stock 4.4.2 kitkat? As far as i know there isn't a custom recovery for rooted, stock 4.4.2 kitkat.

You can downgrade to KitKat (it worked for me) but it will wipe your phone automatically.

You download the firmware with SamFirm because you can create a 4 file firmware and you use Odin and uncheck auto reboot. Normally everything should work correctly if not make a nandroid backup before flashing. In case that the downgrade fails, you will have to flash TWRP and restore the nandroid backup you made earlier. When doing the backup be careful to store on a micros card otherwise the update will be removed. I will try to make a video later this week.

You can flash it with the sammobile firmware .. it is working perfectly. . I haven't faced any problem till date..
downgrade rom
Just download the lower version rom from sammobile(firmware) . use odin to flash rom, add the rom to AP/PDA wait till it load then start the process. when the phone restarts wait for 5-8 min as it takes time to load first time.
here your rom is downgraded!

Here's the problem:
after i successfully installed hydra custom rom, I decided to insert a sim card then the phone reboots. After that, phone display custom rom binary blocked by FRP. It also blocked accessing the TWRP.
I tried several flashes of stock 4 firware but it will prompt to device fail kernel.
hoping someone will help regarding with this.

I can help you recover your note 7. You need the current firmware that was before in your phone. What was the battery pourcentage before you installed hydra rom?

i tried it with sm-n930fd firmware. it won't push through. device kernel fail keeps on prompting.
btw, when i installed hydra rom it's in 60%

So you need the 60% firmware. You can't downgrade to 100% firmware. You need to flash this firmware begin by: N930FXXU2. mine is N930FXXU2BPI7

nothing works. :crying: last resort is to download latest version N930FXXU1APGI if this still prompts device kernel fail. I don't know what to do
