[REQUEST] AOSP Screen Off Animation for Sony LP 5.1.1 - Sony Cross-Device Development Themes and Apps

Hi all,
As the title suggests, is it possible to add AOSP Screen Off Animation back into Sony Lollipop 5.1.1? Animation is shown below but for some strange reason, Sony decided to remove from their firmwares.

Isn't this like the old CRT Off? I remember some xposed modules like this http://forum.xda-developers.com/xperia-z/themes-apps/mod-crt-off-animation-effect-xperia-z-t2373408

No, this screen off animation was introduced with the release of Lollipop but Sony removed it from their LP firmware. I wonder if someone can help me out.

Well i have it on my M4 Aqua I'm still running 5.0

It's even more puzzling then that we (Xperia Z) users had this animation removed on 5.0.1 and 5.1.1 releases.

That is Framework-res.apk related, decompile it and check res/values/bools.xml

Thanks for the tip but the only boolean that seems relevant to my request is config_animateScreenLights which is set to false. Is this the correct value that I should change to true for screen off animation?
Also, can I disable the recents close all button in here as well?
Many thanks

its nice

+1i missing it to, there is xposed module "screenoffanimation", but its not so smooth and nice like original one.. I saw on some other phones like LG with LP 5.0.2 crt off animation by stock..

Can somebody help us out?

Can you still do that? It's a really nice screen closure effect.

I learned how to do it.
1- We are downloading the xposed module named ScreenOffAnimation.
2- We choose animation named Android Lollipop Fade.
3-Then we set the shutdown speed between 600 and 800.
So much.

Nice but I was hoping this was the completed Buuf Theme. I am anticipating that. Any idea of a time frame with the finished release?

it wont be full as it is a low res theme and i am working on it but my main priority is to build a rom without docs help so the doc fans stop complaining
Does this also work on Darky's rom? I'm utterly new to this and I don't know if trying to install this would screw up my phone.
Thanks!

[MOD][BOOTANIMATION] Fixed Google edition bootanimation

Okay, the stock google bootanimation was really bugging me because the pattern does not do a full 360-degree rotation. so, i fixed it. see preview below:
old version:

"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",

"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
my fixed version:
if you can't see the difference, you don't have OCD about little details like i do
see attachments for download.
bootanimation.zip is just the boot animation file if you want to push it to your system partition manually.
google_bootanim_fixed_flashable.zip is flashable via TWRP or CWM.
enjoy!
Before it worked on 4.3, but now on 4.4 don't work. Fix it, please
Ha, now that someone else brought it up, I'm glad I'm not the only one who noticed that with the stock animation. Nice job.

Thank You! That bugged the hell out of me.
Great Job
I didn't even notice it until I saw this post, now I have to make sure it's fixed! lol
Although I have noticed that every third "blink" the animation freezes for a second or two. I'm running Shiny ROM 4.4 (KK4.4.2).
It's not working on 4.4 slimkat.
Since I think it might work on other ROM's, so nice job.
Thanks a lot. So simple but so nice

Good work but despite providing a black version, what's the difference between this one and the stock app that comes in official Android 4.3 firmware?

Sorry, I missed 'only' in the title... Thanks for the graceful reply.
I made one with a dark BG, if anyone wants, since cm themes application don't work on this settings app, so you end up with white text on white BG if you use a dark theme. Note that you won't have themes option in settings anymore, if you use this mod, but it will show up in a search from the settings screen. Also, flash in recovery didn't work for me, but manual push did...

You probably can if you can get your device rooted bit without root access I don't think so

Go to THIS link then go to the download page and grab the Stock SystemUI + Framework with minor mods – DOWNLOAD and install it. Then go into System UI Tuner in settings.
Unfortunately, I can't find it again, but one of the OTAs had a tool built in to do this in the UI Tweaker. It might have been the "V" version but I haven't been able to get it again.
