Desktop OS for Xtreamer Whizz
Dear Friends,
We continue to strive to enhance your experience with our products and today we introduce a new operating system to Xtreamer Whizz – Desktop OS based on sensational Remix OS.
Remix OS is a new name in the Android space and offers something no other Android on the desktop solution has: true multitasking. Remix OS mimics a full desktop OS with a task bar and has window support for apps. This makes multitasking a breeze and it just doesn’t feel like Android, in a good way.
It is a completely re-imagined Android that supports mouse right-click, Windows-type notifications, keyboard shortcuts, the most advanced file-manager for Android and many-many other features.
So now you can take your Whizz with you when you are going away on holidays or for work, connect it to a TV in your hotel or to an HDMI capable monitor and use it both as a workstation and for your personal entertainment, because – guess what? You can still use KODI (pre-installed) and all of your favorite applications.
Download - http://download.xtre...HIS_ARCHIVE.zip
Installation
The Installation procedure is the same as of our regular firmware
** This update should be performed using a USB disk formatted to FAT32. Your Xtreamer regards it as an external storage/udisk
STEPS - PLEASE READ THEM ALL BEFORE PROCESS STARTED
(1) STEP 1: Download the update file from the link above.
(2) STEP 2: Extract the file to your PC
(3) STEP 3: Copy the extracted zip file content to the root of a USB disk that was formatted to a FAT32 (NTFS will not work).
(4) STEP 4: In this stage we will try let the update script to try wiping your system and installing itself automatically within the RECOVERY mode of the machine. In order to do this we need you to go into recovery mode.
Follow these steps to go into recovery:
(1) Insert your USB disk into one of the USB hosts slot in your Xtreamer.
(2) Connect the HDMI cable to the TV and your Whizz and make sure the TV is on
(3) Remove the power cable from the Xtreamer
(4) At the side of your Whizz there is a reset button. Press and hold the button while you insert the power cable to its place. Keep pressing the reset button and now watch the screen for the operation to start. It may take 5-10 secs to start. When you will see on the screen the Android logo you can remove the toothpick from the RESET button.
* If for some reason your machine failed the update process automatically - You can still perform the update the manual way. Go into Recovery mode using the RESET button method described above. First: wipe factory reset and clean cache partition. Then go back to the Main Menu of the Recovery screen and Select install update from external storage===>udisk… And select the zip file you copied to the USB. Select install and wait 10 min for the process to be done. The machine will restart automatically. Please be patient and don't interrupt the process.
(5) STEP 5: VERY IMPORTANT!!!! Setup the Xtreamer Whizz Time and Date. Ignoring this step will result in failure of Google services to function properly.
Moved from the official forum
After the experience on the device is very excellent advise everyone doing

Honda HR-V Android Media Console

I have a 2018 Honda HR-V from Brasil. Its equipped with an Android 4.0.4 media console that is "blocked" to outside apps. I want to install more apps, especially Waze and GoogleMaps, and more...
I have made a factory reset and after I have allowed installation of third party apps in the settings menu and tried to install Mike_S Honda Permission, when the file is named "HondaAppCenter_A1.apk".
I tried in two ways, both not working:
1. Download the file on my computer and trying to install in the car using a USB stick - going to install app icon and then it shows me the file but once I press it, the install button is grayed out and I can't continue.
2. Downloading the file directly form the website to the console - the install processes starts but at the end it says that the app wasn't installed without giving any explanations.
I don't know how to program files and compile / decompile etc., so please avoid suggesting these kind of solutions.
Thanks
Please help

Same problem here...
I have tried to follow instructions from this thread: https://forum.xda-developers.com/android/general/guide-how-to-enter-developer-mode-2017-t3621582
But no luck.
Anyone has any ides?
Anything???
Found the solution! Worked for me (European HR-V 2017)
You can find full description here: https://forum.xda-developers.com/ge...ct-android-t3179549/post77497592#post77497592
Short description is:
1. Downgrade system version RC7/8 to RC6.1 (file available in a link below is described as "compatible with Civic Tourer with Honda Connect ID code 6VCB" but worked perfectly for me)
2. Reset to factory defaults (you will loose all settings!)
3. change the name of any app you want to install to HondaAppCenter_A1.apk (find the version that supports supports Android 4.0.4 and ARM processor)
4. Copy it to USB and go to install app... works like a charm
What about from note usb stick: "if you want to install the program you need a honda certificate". How did you do that?

Hi all. Does anyone know how to change the USB from HOST to DEVICE mode, like in this video?
I have a 2017 european HR-V model, and I managed to get to the Developer dialog screen by pressing "Menu + Brightness + Power" buttons for about 5 seconds.

However, from this point I can't make any button combination to configure the USB mode.

A numpties guide to rebranding

This is simply a collection of information with some blanks filled in to allow those not as well versed in huawei/ADB as myself to rebrand. After 4 days of agony with Funkyhuawei and very little info i managed to resolve the issue myself. Primarilly, rebranding from pie on their toolkit would not work and i did not feel comfortable rebranding the more involved ways explained on here here.
You will need a membership to FH and credits. Also to have selected the same version eg 8.0.0.159 for the TARGET region. for me, i was c782 but rebranding to c432 so selected clt-l09c432 8.0.0.159
It is written with the intention of using FHRebrandTool2, as this one allows you to remain as CLT-L09 if that is your model, not force a switch to L29 even without dual sim
First, obviously, if you cant/havent unlcked FRP and bootloader, stop reading now. You're process is finished lol
Second, remove all security pins and fingerprints (developer options>require to be unlocked>off)
If you are on pie, use this incredibly simple automated script setup from @Androlark thank you my friend for this as you saved me here https://r.tapatalk.com/shareLink?ur...share_tid=3841687&share_fid=3793&share_type=t this is necessary as rebrandtool does not operate correctly with android 9 but fh instructions and even FH help are unclear on
For the correct software, download your latest android 8 version from Firmware Finder, taking note of the changelog, the flashing requires older update version with THREE folders, the giveaway is the changelog says "this will rollback your device to emui8" (dont rollback using Hisuite, as it itself advises not to if device unlocked. When selecting download in FF you may be presented with a list of many folders, most with the same name, simply click one of each name (update, public and cltxxxxxhw) transfer these to your phone after checking "check availability by imei" and doublechecking you have selected the correct region (C782,c432 etc)
Before flashing, to save panic, READ "AFTER FLASH INSTRUCTIONS" in flashy folder of extracted flashtool downloaded from above.
Follow post and flash.bat instructions and its all automated.
Factory Reset as advised when complete
Wahey you're back on old faithful Oreo and still device unlocked
Now startup device, complete basic setup to access menu, ensure adb AND allow adb during charge mode are on (this helps stop adb turning back off at restart in some cases) ensure to forget any wifi connection you used during setup
Back to fastboot (device off, hold power down, connect cable to computer) once loaded run FHRebrandTool2 again, being careful if you use manual entry to assign new model and region
Once complete and you restart you will keep getting connect usb to continue rebrand dont panic, hold power until shutdown then hold volume down and connect usb to computer again, you will get Erecovery. Select Install latest package and use the FunkyHuawei instruction from here, EG change DNS on router or use a computer as a hotspot to install new region software and wait.........wait.........wait.........funkyhuaweis carrier pidgeons are a bit slow
Rebranded and update back to pie and enjoy the precious security updates
Proof is in the pudding [emoji16] currently waiting on hisuite downloading my first update to 161

x88 pro 10 android tv box - new firmware

Hello,
Hope to get some help here.
I've got a x88 pro 10 android tv box running android 11.
Recently I updated the firmware via the box update function.
Not sure if that is what causing my problems.
Sometimes it completely shut down, only solution is to unplug the power completely.
There is other issues as apps stopping and closing or just not running.
Reset has been done several times.
Is it possible to install android 10 on this box instead and how?

TCL P8 Android TV Several issues with MKV to DLNA playback. Anyone have the same problems? Is there a solution please.

Hello, I have some problems with the media center of my TCL P8 Androidtv after the major update to Android 11 V715. Video playback stops by itself after a few minutes and jumps to a new VIDEO. I have to clarify that this only happens with MKV videos in DLNA (no fast forward-reverse. Sudden stop of the video and jump to the next one. Lost function of resuming the video from the last time seen and stopped. General delay of a few seconds to open files in DLNA and even playback delays)

I tried to just update the media player and indeed I went to the version 6.00.70 but Unfortunately it didn't work and even worse I lost the appearance of the Dolby Audio logo it no longer appears before the Media Center update the playback of MKV HD necessarily made the Dolby Audi logo appear but no longer now
Now I'm going to try to do a new 'clean' update from an IMG file downloaded from the TCL Update database and then we'll see
https://www.mediafire.com/file/cdxvns5h1ef3s9x/V8-R851T02-LF1V715.zip/file
This file is only for the platform V8-R851T02 and is to upgrade to version V715 Android 11
For anyone having problems updating here is the correct method to follow:
If you are having general problems with your TCL TV, try the following:
1. check if you are running the latest firmware version, if not update it with an OTA file
2. fully power off your tv (unplugging the power cable) and plug it back in again
3. If nothing helps, try a reset from a hidden TV menu (reset All and Reset shop will not wipe TV. Apps will be untouched, initial setting required like passwords, WiFi)
4. last thing to try is to reinstall your tv fully with the latest IMG file (will wipe your data, picture and sound settings will stay)
*HOW TO INSTALL*
Preparation:
- USB drive has to be FAT32
- it should contain nothing else than the firmware
- prefer using the USB 2.0 slot on your tv
- prefer using a USB 2.0 drive
- if it fails re-download the file again
- if it still fails try another usb drive
- Use a windows pc, no macos as macos unzips it wrong automatically
*OTA*
1. Download zip
2. copy zip to USB Drive (FAT32)
3. plug it in TV (preferably USB 2.0)
4. in the settings -> update -> choose local update
*IMG* (this will wipe your android data)
1. Download zip
2. unpack zip (sometimes it contains one IMG file, sometimes some files in it) & copy to USB Drive (FAT32)
3. plug it in the tv
4. shut down the tv
5. then press & hold the power button on the tv (not remote) for 5 seconds until the LED is flashing and wait for it to be installed.
The power button is on EVERY TV and can be found most of the time behind the status LED in the middle of the TV

Flashing Done
Finally I throw in the towel even after flashing the tv twice by OTA and by IMG and after entering the hidden menu and doing 'Reset ALL' and 'Reset Shop' the same problems still persist I can't do anything more than to hope that a next small minor update will solve these malfunctions of the native multimedia player with HD videos in DLNA UPNP network

Let me start with the bugs.
Bugs:
Bluetooth Audio won't work (this is fixable look later in the guide)
FOD (Fingerprint) Does work but atleast on my phone works at a very low chance.
Anymore bugs you find please either post them in the comments or list them on the GitHub hoping for ponces to respond. (this is a GSI, expect bugs)

11. Once done put the TWRP file in the AP section and flash! (once done hold volume up + power to reboot to recovery and do it 1 more time when its done replacing recovery)
12. Once done go to Wipe -> Advanced -> Wipe Internal Storage and Data (you can also wipe the 2 cache sections)
13. Once done download the Pixel Experience 13 Image. (https://github.com/ponces/treble_build_pe/releases)
14. Once done transfer the .img file (extract the xz file first!) to the phone.
15. Once done go to Install Pixel Experience by going to Install -> Show img and click on the img and flash it to System.
16. And your done! You can reboot once done.
GSI Enhancements:
BT Fix: Go to phh treble settings, Misc and then Disable AD2P offload and BT is fixed!
Left corner at the edge fix: Go to phh treble settings, Misc and find the Corner radius and Force/Fake Corner radius settings and change them to 50! Reboot and your done.
Enable all Cameras: Go to phh treble settings, Samsung, and find Enable all cameras (Q vendor doesn't matter unless you are on binary 1 and never updated lol.)
That's it! Your done!
I will also help you unbrick your phone if something does go wrong. Anyway.
Bye.
