Hi.
Due to the movement of the Huawei Devices (Not only Pulse/Pulse Mini), I want to request a generic Huawei forum for all devices, becouse we are poissoning the general android developing forum, and there's a lot of threads related on it.
Also there's some Huawei devices with similar specs that works with another ROMS, so thinks the best way to get organizated is to launch a new generic Huawei forums.

Vodafone Ideos (Huawei U8150) is getting a lot of attention here in Italy, due to its very low price (99 euros, no contract).

Although i hvnt use huawei before, but there are more & more people start using it in asia country eg china~

I'm wondering why this hasn't happened yet either. I'm also using a U8150, and I love the thing. I'd rather have an Evo, but if you're buying a GSM phone, and you want it off contract, there's just no better option out there!

I've bought recently a new Huawei Titan U8820 from Nextel, it's similar to the Ideos X5, but it has a PTT button. That's all the difference.
I've found almost none info about rooting nor ROMing this device (U8820), so I've decided to ask you directly.
Could any of you, guys, help me to root it, please?
Any info about ROMing it would be very useful too

Hey there,
I have been roting my devices for quite a while now, so I somewhat know the drill.
A very, very unfortunate event occurred when my quite new S3 Neo decided to take a swim and now it's f***ed up for life...
With my tiny budget I 'thankfully' managed to find a cheap replacement in a second hand Huawei P1 U9200 on firmware B219 (1V100R001C00B219).
I now have been searching for days to find a tutorial on how to root the little bugger.
There's quite a few old 'stories' on the interweb on how to pur a new ROM on it, and some really old talks about rooting it, but I now have come to the conclusion that there's a lot of contradictory posts and unusable links.
I would like to know if:
1. (Most important question) Is it even possible to root this B219 apparatus?? If so then:
2. Anyone out there with a tut for it and links that actually work?...

I just sold my ZF2 due the fact I didnt like the device all that much... so today I have a mission: find a replacement...
I was thinking about G4, Moto X Style (which is utterly overpriced in my country and I have no idea why) or S6...
To be honest my first choice would be the X Style due the stock android, but here (in Brazil) they are charging way more than the phone worth... its more expansive than S6 and G4 so you guys know what I'm talking about... well, I'm far alway from rich so I need to be careful about how much I spend in a phone....
My question is, what is the state of variety in the "rom department" for G4 right now? Is there a stable CM version for it? I had a G2 and here in Brazil they still didnt upgraded it to Android Lollipop... still stuck in the kitkat after all this time...
I have some concerns about the 6.0 coming for G4 the way they "came" for the G2 in here..
