File Browser - Moto G4 Plus Themes, Apps, and Mods

I pulled the file manager of Lenovo A7010 firmware.
No advertising and I are satisfied.

Is this app same on lenovo A6000plus?

I saw a file browser app already installed but disabled out-of-the-box. I noticed it while browsing all apps by Motorola in the Play Store, and was able to enable it from there.
Wonder if this is the same thing?

As long as you are signed into your Google account then they are synced across all Android Devices.

[Q] No Video app icon??

Hey guys, just got my G4 (international version) today. I had one question - there is no "Video" app in the app drawer. Looks like I can only get to it via QSlide; I did a factory reset and it's still not showing up in the App drawer. Is this normal ?? Or is something up with my phone?
Thanks,
Praz
Seems to be normal mine is the same way

Yeah it appears you're right. I used LG bridge to do a full recovery and bone stock it's like that then. Not a big deal, though a little weird.
Thanks!
Unless you want to install a separate standalone video player, the way to access videos on the G4 is by locating them in your file manager. The video player will launch videos automatically when opening them in other apps. There's just no regular, logical way of opening videos within the app itself.

In Google Play, download MW Pen App Enabler. There is a free and Pro version. It says it works on "most" apps, but I use the Pro version and so far it has worked for those apps I've tried it on.

Modded Apps Question

So I'm coming from a jailbroken iPhone and am finding little on how to get modded Apps on android. I'm looking mainly for a YouTube app where I can download vids and play them with the screen turned off. Also maybe an Instagram with mods would be great. I used both instagram++ and youtube++ and loved them on iOS.
Any help pointing me in the right direction would be greatly appreciated!

Not sure about Instagram since I don't use it, but YouTube vanced (download xda labs app (Google it) and find it in their app section) does the majority of what you want. Not sure if it lets you download, but I imagine it can?

Sweet! Is there any reason to use the regular xda app vs this xda labs app? Also it says to install MicroG to be able to sign into YouTube Vanced. Any help with that?
Edit: jk about the microG I figured it out! Thanks!

The regular xda app doesn't have their app store built in because Google doesn't allow other app stores in the play store. But xda labs does. Otherwise they're the same app, so o just use xda labs. Enjoy!

Gallery app to use instead of Google photos

Never been to big of a fan of Google photos. Don't know about anyone else but I think the layout is awful. I'm using this quickpic mod that I found today on here by wstxda. You can find the app here: https://forum.xda-developers.com/android/apps-games/mod-gallery-quickpic-based-4-7-4-t3790425
I also don't use yt music for music that I have on my phone or at all. I have Spotify for streaming and I use Poweramp because I bought the pro version years ago. Found a nice free app that's almost as good I'd suggest called, Musicolet which you can find on the Google play store here: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=in.krosbits.musicolet
Figured I'd just leave you guys a couple suggestions for better apps that don't require root [emoji6]

Thanks brother, much appreciated!
I'd use exodus or app manager to check for trackers and such
Thanks though I too do not use Google photos as good As it might be. I'm trying to stay gappa free even on stock.
