RIO-L03C567B160 Update?? - Huawei GX8

Received message on my phone that RIO-LO3C567B160CUSTC567D002 update is available. Update is 136 MB in size. Currently running RIO-L03C567B141
Downloaded the update and try to install but after 26%, I got message that it failed.
Anyone know why?? And does anyone know how I can retrieve the update (zip file) from my cache so I can manually flash it with twrp.
I am running stock unlocked rooted base with stock recovery (I have twrp ready to flash also).
Huawei website still shows only B141 package available for download: http://consumer.huawei.com/us/suppo...0=Mobile Phones&key1=Smartphones&key2=RIO-L23
Thanks in advance.

Unable to update to Android 5.0.2

Dear all,
I hope anyone can help me. I am trying to update to the latest Android version which I got OTA today. I have rooted my device and I am running TWRP (version 2.8.5.0) since some time. (Rooted it to restore some apps using Titanium backup). When I try to update using the OTA my device boots into recovery. When I choose install and select the downloaded zip file my device gives me the following error:
E: Zip signature verification dailed: 1
Disabling the ZIP verification doesn't work as I will just get another error message.
I have tried sideloading the ROM using adb commands but so far this hasn't worked either.
Anyone can give me some directions as how to continue from here? I would really like to update my device to Android 5!
Update with solution (for me):
What worked for me was downloading the OTA update like I would normally do. Then connect the phone to the computer and copy the downloaded update file to the computer (should be located on internal memory/download/). Once you have the file on your computer extract it, and then extract the file 'firmware'. Inside this second file should be a recovery.img. If you flash this recovery to your phone (no need to unroot or relock your bootloader) you will then be able to install the update.
That's because you need stock recovery to flash OTA. It won't work with TWRP because the OTA ZIP works different than a custom ROM.
Go back to stock everything and it'll work.
Or wait a couple of days till the boys here come up with a lollipop rom.
Ok thanks a lot, that'll help me I'll let you guy know if I run into any more problems.
how revert back to stock rom

sir my phone also on same condition and on 1.17.707.9
please send above file link for me I have no update notification
now we want ruu
sir please send file link
Use these two files. First restore the stock nandroid using twrp (remember to choose NO when twrp prompts you to install supersu and root rom).
After you successfully restore the backup, flash stock recovery.
That should take care of it.

in usual way of that you have to put update file in Download folder in internal memory(after that you may have to restart) and then go to setting > about > software update, checking for update and wait the way that should be.

So i just got the ota update today the lollipop for my country (Egypt) i had phone rooted with custom recovery TWRP i tried installing the update and failed.. then i flashed the stock recovery and still fails...gone to supersu and settings and unrooted it and tried again, still fails...
relocked the bootloader and STILL fails this now got me so mad because upon every install failure i had to redownload the update (it takes a long time tho) so if anyone could help me here i will be so thankful.

Asus Zenfone 2 Z00A Error when installing OTA update (Rooted)

Recovery error Z00A
Hello, I am new to this forum. I have the Asus Z00A Zenfone 2 and I have a problem with him ... I made a root and after this operation, I jumped out the OTA update, I downloaded and when you try to install jumped out error in the recovery. The system gets up normally, I do unroot and re-root but when you enter the recovery phone still tries to install the downloaded software and still pops up an error ... I suspect that simply delete the file you downloaded the update but do not know where he is. It will help anyone?
Did you disable any system files after you rooted the phone?
I had the same problem, so what I did was to download the full firmware from Asus ( 1.1 gigs ). Uninstall Busybox, full unroot, adb sideload full firmware, re-apply root, re-install busybox.

I had the same problem .. Flash stock firmware .. if u flashed Pre rooted system.img unroot it .. and now apply the ota update
Well I was rooted with Xposed installed and wanted to Install the latest update. I went to recovery mode wiped all the data and rebooted, then I grabbed the firmware file from Asus. Stored it onto my SD Card and then I got a notification of installing a update from the SD Card. Successfully installed and removed root.

Manual update of Flashable GPE Rom to MRA58K.H9

Hi Guys,
I looked for an answer before posting this message but I couldn't find any clear post on that.
I installed in December a Flashable GPE with Android 6 onto my HTC One M8 and I received few days ago a notification for a System Update to the version MRA58K.H9.
If I click on Install update it will restart in TWRP, so looking around I found that the update needs to be manually installed.
Now my question: I downloaded the update file from google (approx 28 mb), is it enough to restart in TRWP and flash this zip file? Or is something else needed?
Many thanks
OTA updates require stock recovery to install. Further, if your version is not GPE (and that sounds like the case - a Sense version with GPE ROM flashed to it), the OTA will fail for CID check, and also wrong firmware number.

trying to perform security update ota. issues.

I am on custom recovery ( initially ). I got a notification that security update is available , so I downloaded the 6.0.1 image, extracted recovery from it, and flashed it via Rashr. But the moment I try to install the ota ( it boots into the recovery, I see the little android working - "Installing system update" ), it gives me "Error" at the end.
what exactly am I doing wrong ? Do I need to flash something else besides recovery to get the ota update ? Something is missing and I am not sure what.
Any help ?
are you rooted? if so what method? if your system partition isn't 100% i believe that will cause you to fail OTA. Why not just flash the update using fastboot/adb? you can download the image from google developer site.

Sideloaded and trwp original ROM now ota updates fails.

I played around with cm had but decides to go back to stock. I installed with twrp and then got a update notice. I downloaded and trwp tried to install but fail. Use toolkit to load original recovery and downloaded uodate, not it says updating and then says recovery fail. And when phone boots up it ask to downloaded update. Any help would be appreciated

If you are rooted. systemless or not, with or without xposed, the update will fail. Download the full rom from the mirror here and sideload it or flash it in twrp

the file size is 1.2 gigs from oneplus.net. There is no error code on TWRP and on the stock recovery it shows no errors just says Update fail

Hmm, I've not run into that issue. An error 7 in twrp usually means the system partition is modified (e.g root, hence my previous suggestion) but that doesn't effect the full 1+ gb zip as it's not an OTA but rather the full rom. Try contacting oneplus support
Use TWRP, and install the full OxygenOS 3.2.2 zip (do not try to use the OTA update - that won't work and also do not install the OTA update version), and wipe cache and dalvik, then reboot
