Hello! I am here to show you NEW manual camera app for Android. I have tested it on my LG G3 and it works like a charm! Manual focus, WB, ISO, EX, DNG (RAW) 1080p60fps, 4K, timelapse, Bracketing and much more! And its FREE! I dont have time to test bacon camera (work and study) but I think, that its better than Bacon (paid) camera app.

Will use VSCO camera in the next days to see how it's behaving - as the default app seems to me that is getting oof even in the easiest situations.

Good image quality, better than reviewers had made me believe.
Camera quality looks better than i have been hearing :good:
The three pictures here are from the stock camera (host: flickr... You're adviced!)
The quality is not that good using the stock camera. Using the Lenovo Supercamera or Focal they look much better as you are in control of the manual adjustments.

Did some research on Camera apps ... looks like Ultra HD Camera app takes impressive shots in low light with Flash ON, however in normal indoor light (bedroom lights) Default Camera app takes slightly better shots

Well, if you downloaded the latest version (3.5.5) I am afraid to tell you it didn't work with me either. Just the first version (release) did.
Some of its features give force close in almost every device though. For example, Panorama cannot be used properly. The same happens to "Magic GIF" and some filter options as well as the "Super Gallery". All the other Configuration options work superb by the way, even normal GIF and a few filters.
The thread where I (think) got the first release from is the following:
[App][Share] Lenovo k900 Camera
I'm not 100% sure, but check that out. I'll try to re-upload the one I have.
UPDATE: Here's the link to the one I am using:
Lenovo Super Camera.apk (Host: Mega)
UPDATE 2: This is another thread with the original and 2 other updates. The latest (3.5.5) does not work for me, but the first release as well as the first update (3.1.3) do work.

OnePlus 3 [email protected] recording!!

Guys, I recently received my op3 hoping it would finally have 1080p 60fps video recording in full speed with sound. But, no luck. The Sony imx298 sensor is capable of it according to a PDF I found from Sony. Has anybody had luck with being able to activate that mode.

Does it record audio in highspeed mode?
Could you please try to open the video with the Google Photos app:
On stock OOS 3.2.2, slowmotion videos are treated as high framerate videos
and you can manually set the postion for the slowmotion to start and end just like on the iPhone.
The other areas are played in regular speed. Unfortunately without audio...
Would be great to have both audio and the above method working!

This can be done in google photos and then you can share the video from there, but sadly with no audio.

I have not found a slo-mo/full speed changer option in Google photos, you'd have to use an external video editor. But sound is working. One plus must not like high speed recording
Yeah I wish there was sometype of workaround/mod released, kinda sucks too because my Galaxy Note 4, S5 and onward were all able to do 1080p 60fps recording STOCK.

Seems to be legit, checked it in After Effects and every frame is unique.
Has anyone tried Open Camera to record 60fps at 1080p? I tried this on an Honor 7 (as 60fps doesn't come as standard on that phone) but the results were no better than the standard camera app at 30fps. Wondered if the Sony unit on the OP3 would allow Open Camera to do a better job but can't find video examples of this anywhere.

Advanced Professional Camera App

What's going on guys?
I am looking for an app that I can get that will control aperture, exposer, shutter speed, white balance, ISO, and focus. So far all the apps I've tried, none support aperture except one VERY basic one that was made for long exposure shots. But that was the only thing I could change. Any ideas?

The bottom line is you will never get a better shot from hTc 10 than with HTC Pro Camera 1.90.401.5 (as of the moment of this typing)..

Better off using RAW mode and do everything else in Adobe Lightroom. No aftermarket camara app can do better than the official one now.
I really just want aperture control
anyone know of an app that can control aperture?
I might be wrong, but there is no way to control aperture on a phone camera. Phone cams have fixed apertures. 'adjustments' on apps are just simulating it via gain etc...

hmmmm im trying to do something like this, but i need a slow shutter, but lowering shutter to 16s allows WAY to much light in even with the ISO down to 100. what can i do/how can i make it so that less light comes into the sensor at 16s shutter speed?

What I did was to stick a ND (neutral density) filter to the lens.
I tried this with the M8, to achieve this photo
Now with the laser focus, not too sure if the filter will cause an error in focusing.

hmmmm, filters are the only method you know of to produce this?
thats an awesome pic BTW!
Using ND filters is also the way to go for dslr photography. ND filters are basically dark glass to limit the amount of light reaching the sensor.

what about this app?
it does what i want an i can change aperture. its just a crappy app.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.longexposure2
if you click, not light trace, but the other one, and choose aperture and save the photo, it comes up in details about the pic as different aperture that you set in the app.
I have the paid version of this app. Limitations is that it only saves photos at max 1920x 1080.
Its not true aperture adjustments too. Basically it's overlaying parts of the photo with light traces.

I just followed this guy's guide and punch in the settings manually.
It does show improvement from the default app in terms of contrast and focus.
BUT it does not contain options to use the 64MP and Macro settings etc.... there are things missing in terms of all the hardware you can use.
So for now I'm using GCam if I need to take pics in normal camera mode, video and wide-lense, panorama or the amazing 360 view feature.
And use the default app for 64MP, Makro lens and slow-mo features. This version of GCam does crash on some of the options like Lens Blur, so it is not perfect.
i am very happy with the stock camera , on the latest update the quality is just fine

Ans I agree.
I tried to take pictures on low light conditions with the stock camera and compared with Google and ended up preferring the stock camera versions.
To be honest, sometimes AI overdoes things, but overall camera quality isn't bad. Even for interior pictures.

GCAM for Wing

Hi,
Just wanted to update that Urnyx's 7.3 v2.4: GCam_7.3.018_Urnyx05-v2.4.apk works perfect on the LG Wing.
Just enable the second lens from the settings , enable HDR+ Enhanced etc..
Results are much better than stock.
Actually, pretty good camera with gcam.

Perfect. Thank you
Im using the BSG model from their telegram group. Just tested selfie. Damn my skin tone way better even compared to the selfie from my pixel 5. Pixel 5 somehow gave warmer result.
Pardon the file name. Thats the typical filename for files downloaded from Telegram
Heres the comparison of 1 single take https://photos.app.goo.gl/kk5Xjt7aMVaJ3yz2A
Using the GCam I've noticed a couple of nice things.
1. The camera app does not take over your music app like a stock camera app.
2. Some picture quality improvements. (i am looking forward to testing in dark environments)... Stock app was marginal.
A few questions.
1. Anyway to change save location to SD?
2. What are your settings?
I have:
HDR+ Control enabled
wide angle auxiliary lens enabled.
4k time-lapse (not tested)
4k video (not tested)
Cheers!
@fuadhdmini thanks!

In addition to the five gcam models mentioned above, the Arnova is a popular choice. Furthermore, by releasing the most recent versions, namely 6.1, 6.2, 7.3, and 8.3, the Gcam Arnova has gained a large following.
