HTC 10 cannot install xposed.zip at TWRP - HTC 10 Questions & Answers

Hi, My HTC 10 is CID 622, rom version 1.53.708.4
I have tried to reinstall xposed on my phone after fixed the VOLTE problem at HTC service center
I have already root and install TWRP3.0.2.4 on my phone
When I flash xposed on my phone
it appear as attached photos, error 1 gzip short write
{

"lightbox_next": "Next",

"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
and I tried to re-flash again after gzip short write appeared
It appear as attached photo error 1, cp: can't create '/system/xposed.prop': file exists
I use root explorer to check my system file, the xposed.prop does not exist(as attach photo)
Please help

Recovery log please (see the TWRP thread if you don't know how to get one).
P.S. That second error is related to the extracted files, not what's in your system folder. You should reboot recovery before flashing the zip a second time to clear out the temp files.

do not understand why that field empty
Whether it can cause?
Its empty because there was no Extended rom in that particular rom you installed.
To find it, extract the rom then you can see "ms_.bnf" file missing.
*CE image (rom): nk.nbf
*Extended rom: ms_.nbf
*Radio image: radio_.nbf
Same thing happens if you want to upgrade ONLY the radio image, you will see two lines empty.
Maybe this will help; http://wiki.xda-developers.com/index.php?pagename=Radio only upgrade instructions
Dude, you must have unlocked extended rom
Try putting the device into boot loader before flashing, there is a lower risk of flashing failing before 100%.
If you're in boot loader to flash, the field on the top "From" is usually empty.
I get the same some times, but after exploring this forum, it s no longer an isue.
If you having problem migrating from one rom to another try migrating thru third rom that installs, and gives you a known error. (easy to get around)

Have You already applied all the Updates from "Windows Update"?
Perhaps ".NET Compact Framework 3.5" is not installed on Your machine?
eryunt is right. This is definitely a .Net Framwork error.
where can I get it from ?? give me a link plz
Installing windows updates will download it, but at any rate, here are two places to download it:
Official Microsoft page
Filehippo Mirror (The download button is on the top right)
Both pages offer an online installer, the installer is about 2.8MBs and then what it downloads during installation differs depending on what updates your system has.
And in the Microsoft page, there's also a link to download a full package (offline installer) which is about 230+MBs.

How install app as system app

i try install continuum on my device, but I installed a newer version than I have on my phone. i did hard reset and delete files using cmd. today i try install this package yourself. I copied files, and write small phyton sctipt(to convert xml manifest in to bat) to export registry values. now continuum work fine but dockingHostApp сrashes at launch.
I know continuum it a system app, but i no ideas how install it as system app.
PS. I have problems in other app like Interop tool(from store) and iotDefaultApp, they write error 8007005 (access error)
PS2. if I find a way to make this application work, everyone will be able toinstall and UNINSTALL contunuum without iutools

Reflash ROM and flash DFE right before restarting system -- your storage will not be encrypted as it is now...
@pnin plese write step by step what can I do
That's it: reflash your ROM, format data and, just before rebooting into system, flash DFE...

[RECOVERY] Bypass the Read-Only partition (Merlin)

Hi everyone, I found after many tests a way to bypass the Read-Only.
WARNING: This is not a permanent fix, it is just a bypass where you can edit files.
Trying different AIO Tools (Universal, swflash etc etc) none of them unfortunately worked but thanks to an unofficial recovery (OrangeFox) that was recreated for this phone, it worked.
INSTALLATION:
If you want only the recovery, unpack the zip, open cmd-adb and type: fastboot flash recovery <recoveryname.img> otherwise flash the entire zip from your recovery.
After just reboot to recovery (if u prefer: fastboot reboot recovery) and edit your files!
Tip: when you open OrangeFox probably if you have encrypted files it will tell you to enter the password (try it, unfortunately it doesn't work for me, since you should format the phone) if for you also doesn't work just click the Cancel button.
Please note: the recovery is not mine but it is made by shas45558
If you like this method, please leave a like!
