I would like to know if would install Custom Rom i.e. Resurrection Remix in my LG NEXUS 5X, would this be faster and smoother than then stock one and second could it be possible to revert it back to stock once rooted ??
And the main part of my this question is what is one the best Custom ROM for Google LG NEXUS 5X ?
Does Ressurection Remix ROM have an option for controlling backgroud processes?

Yes, but there is no top Rom. you'll have to decide what you want, what you get.

hello guys,
I decided to stop waitin for official rom from samsung and will just go with custom. which rom should i try?? i want something similar to the official samsung rom with no custom additions and ofcourse stable with no problems.

there aren't many of them, so just start with CM and resurrection and I bet you will be surprised.
I have a n7100 note 2 and I am also looking to apply a custom ROM.
My n7100 currently runs Samsung stock ROM Android 4.4.2
I have already installed ROOT, TWRP 3.0.0.0 and taken a backup using TWRP. Also took a separate backup of the efs partition.
I want to install Resurrection Remix ROM of Android 5.1.1 - note though that this has now had development stopped. Guess they are moving on to Android 6.x
Can I pose some (technical) questions here or better for another thread?

I like Resurrection Remix but would like to try out the stock LG G5 apps is there anyway I can flash them onto my G3?
Sadly, as far as I know, there is no way to get stock apps on an AOSP rom, as they requires some LG frameworks that can't just be ported over. The only way to use the stock apps is to flash a stock rom, such as Fulmics

Damn that sucks, I like Resurrection Remix because the battery life is good for me.
Due to memory filling problem to custom rom, its better to stay in kitkat. As long as custom kernel cant be bulit this is the best i think. Ressurection remix is one of the best rom i have used, so can someone port a kitkat version of ressurection remix???
Hello there, I m sure u guys are doing great, i just want to ask I m using LG g3 vs98510B currently on stock ROM which is Kitkat 4.4.2 and am root and twrp recovery installed, i tried to uprade it previously but couldnt manage to get uprade of cyanogenmod or Asop or ressurection remix marshmallow rom, but the only rom i went through with was Fulmics 6.5 till Fulmics 6.9, i used it for an year i guess it is OK though, but i heard and read alot about CrDroide/cyanogenmod/RRemix/AOSP/AICP/AOSIP ROMS and now LineagOS ROMs, i wanted to experience these ROMs too, so i tried cm 13 on my lg g3 vs985 to feel the change, smoothness, efficiency and new features, but i failed, then rest of almost all i mentioned, no one flashed in TWRP recovery. Every time I flashed any custom ROM i got Baseband binary updater error, fortunately i got away with backup i made of Fulmics, but doing so trying Custom ROMs flashing I once flashed the system, then i had to go back to Stock using TOT method but again i tried but Fulmics 7.5 was my approach in the end. So i start using it. But I start searching alot of forums XDA is the best I found, there i came across for flashing CrDroide/cyanogenmod/RRemix/AOSP/AICP/AOSIP/LineageOS ROMS flawlessly i need to go back to stock and after advanced wipe, wipe cache/dalvik cache the i have format the system to flash totaly brand new Custom ROM, please guide me am I right about it, and also i wud like to ask u r the developers u have better knownledge which ROM i must go for, out of:
