We need help too..a lot of help..
The phone is rooted using KingRoot..
The phone still get an update for OTA_A51_UL_K44_DESIRE_SENSE60_HTC_Europe_1.29.401.5-1.21.401.1_release_44670.zip. But we can't install it because the screen is always going blank (or the phone always going off). And when we turn it on, it run "ramdump" again and again..

Well..it is done..
But..hehehe it is still a "but"..
All other application is remove..it clean now..
All other data file is still there..including the backup we made before..
Unfortunately, the problem about "ramdump" is also still happening..
Or..maybe I do something less to install this??
Or..this "ramdump" is not causing by the error software..humm..

It is necessary to return the s-off,or get SuperCID. HTC has released firmware embodied by region - Europe, America, Asia, Africa. Each region has its own CID (CID - is a region, country). Sew HTC smartphone, firmware from another region is not possible without changing CID or need to create SuperCID, it will allow to install any firmware. We dont want to try this.
The link you gave us before for 4.4.4..it is not make any change..
We tried wipe all before restore it..and still..nada..
And..we extract firmware.zip from OTA 1.29.401.5..and flash it..and after that we restore the link you gave us before for 4.4.4..and taadaa..we don't know for sure..some how..the "ramdump" is just STOP now..
I am happy now..and I think, my friend (the phone owner) also will be happy.. And thank you @vuk1963

Hi there, I have a question about the OTA update.
Well I can't update to the 1.32.405.6 version(18.1MB), yes i know its it has been released a while back cause I didn't needed the update then. When it downloads the update goes fine, it restarts then boots up, but then the update status bar is very fast and then shows a droid with a orange exclamation mark and can only be rebooted by removing the battery. I don't have active auto kill app or what so ever. Has someone else encountered the same problem maybe a while back? I've rooted my phone with the first available root for this model but never flashed a new rom. Ty. Z

what do you want exactly?
1-obtain solution for this problem? or
2-flash another rom? (also it solves your problem SURE )
IF YOU HAVE YOUR DEVICE ROOTED, you can do a backup of your apk with titanium backup.. and flash a recovery from Rom manager, then do full wipe (factory reset, caché and dalvik) and try.
maybe something went badly when you updated your device...
but i think the better thing that u can do its flash a CUSTOM ROM
also all are updated (1.32xxx its sooo older mate) you can choose between several roms in dev´s section.it´s only my advise

Well my first thought was only solve the problem(in this topic).
Of course I want to flash a new cooked rom. But I'm afraid I would do it wrong because my CID says: HTC_E11 instead of 111111.
Thats wy I just wanted the update.

this is not rec. info its info from bootloader
ok you have your phone rooted, did s-off & eng-off... Seemingly only lacking you cid111111....

I've followed the instructions at http://www.htcdev.com/bootloader/ruu-downloads which, for my network (O2UK), instructs me to "update" my ROM to 2.13.206.1. So I've updated OTA and find I have 2.26.401.3.
The problem is that the RUU from the above website won't recognise this 2.26.401.3 ROM as 2.13.206.1 and insists I "update" to 2.13.206.1 which I do not know how to do.
Is there any other way I can unlock the bootloader? Or can I get the 2.13.206.1 ROM from somewhere else and install that?
Just proceed to step 1..............If your version is higher than specified,you can unlock your phone's bootloader
You cannot install other ROM into your phone without bootloader unlocked.root permissions and CWM recovery.

I think you're already have HBOOT unlockable (xxxx99)
Go to steps unlock bootloader without download ruu from htcdev.

You really don't need to update the boot loader and search for RUU when the HBoot ver is 1.08.xxx or later.

I have the exact same Phone values and I got threw the prozess(the one behind the link above) and i got my wfs to ***UNLOCKED*** and i'm able to install new ROM's
buuuuuuuut
every Rom i installed is not capable to make or receive phone calls. Every time i try to do a call, the wfs says:
android.phone.prozess is shutting down
Did i forget anything or did anything wrong?
Got any help?

I've got the europe (germany) version. so i think i need the GSM version.
I'm quiet new to rooting this devices. Are there different versions of every ROM?
I tried about 6-7 ROM's and not one of them worked. (MIUI, CM7, CM9, everyone from the wfs section of this forum)
A co-worker told me something about updating the modem of my wfs.
Is this true and is there a way to do it?

If it's newer, then you can't run the RUU.

You can't install 1.29.720 as its older.
If you can't find 2.17.720.2 RUU, you'll have to install your android backup, I guess, depends what you're trying to achieve.

That's the OTA file and can only be flashed over a phone running the previous version and is 100% stock. You'll have to wait for the RUU to surface

i was trying to unroot my phone. it was all going well only until i tried to install ruu file.
the installation was deferred before completion giving error 140 (bootloader version error)
also set up was showing image version of 3.14.720.24 something like that...
and now my phone is stuck on fastboot screen...
message on it is as below

There is no matching ruu for you out, the only way to het back to stock is to restore a nandroid backup. If you don't have it yourself you can download this one

In basic steps :
1: unlock the bootloader
2: flash a custom recovery
3: flash the boot.img from the nandroid
4: make a full wipe in recovery
5: restore the nandroid backup
6: reboot

Install twrp recovery and then look for a twrp backup for your phone online and restore.
Similar issue here.
Has anyone come across - or - can anyone post a TWRP backup of their stock ROM for the Taiwan (TW) version of the D820u???
Preferrably lollipop Rom but KitKat would also be welcome.
Hours of searching through google I was only able to find the Indian version online...

Lollipop ROM is not available for the Taiwanese version bro They have not released Lollipop OTA yet.
