New Custom Boot Logo for Honor 7 - Honor 7 Themes and Apps

Hi,
When we turn on our h7 phone, boot logo we see is pretty grim:
I decided to "revive" this screen: I created 3 new bootlogo and I offer them:
Stock Bootlogo
Custom Bootlogo 1
Custom Bootlogo 2
Custom Bootlogo 4 (my preferred)
Installation:
You download the zip file you need. Copy it to the SD Card, reboot into TWRP recovery mode and install zip without making any Wipe.
Note: If you install any rom not turn back to original bootlogo. To restore it, download the stock bootlogo zip and install it.
Tested on my H7 PLK-L01 - Full thread to my blog

awesome! i have 4.

Very nice work Mr.? Love nr. 4?

[Q] Some questions to flash a custom rom

I am going to flash the rom - Pure AOSP 4.4.2 Alpha2 for my Xperia S.
My phone isn't rooted and unlocked.
I didn't flash any rom before so I want to ask questions to ensure I won't brick my phone.
I have read some tutorials about flashing rom, mainly, the article.
Questions:
a. Do I have to unlock the bootloader?
b. I have a guide to flash the rom as follows. Is it right?
-------------the guide-------------
1. backup everything
2. unlock the bootloader if necessary
3. root the phone
4. Install CWM recovery
5. download rom, kernel, google apps .zip file
6. copy the .zip file to SD card
7. enter recovery mode
8. wipe data factory reset, wipe cache partition and wipe dalvick cache
9. install rom zip from SD card
10. install google apps package from SD card
11. reboot system now
---------------------------------------
c. There are 6 .zip files in the thread as follows. What is the order to install those?
------------the file in that thread------------
Alpha1:
normal: pure_aosp_alpha1.zip
bm native: kernel system
bm loop: kernel system
Alpha2:
normal: upgrade
bm native: upgrade
bm loop: upgrade
------------------------------------------------------
Thanks!
yes a unlock bootloader is needed, otherwise you will brick your device
yes folowing the guide is recomended
and finaly bm_native or loop is for dualboot,
install normalure_aosp_alpha1.zip
then normal:upgrade
any other questions ask!!

no you have to install cwm separately (Q:do you even know what cwm is?)
a rom comes with its own kernal, it could be stock or modded one, depending on the rom you are installing

I guess you are a newbie in rooting town
And here i am your friendly neighborhood spider - man
So first of all after rooting
You need to install cwm recovery on the device which will let you download or flash Roms easily
The best recovery for canvas 4 is
The one built by master awesome
Here : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2739053
You would find the method of flashing it in the post itself
Now once you have flashed cwm recovery all you need is a good rom
I would suggest you to wait until nero d launches his upcoming color os 2 Rom which is going to be awesome
Here : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2804715
Now you have your powers and tools as well but what is the best way of flashing once you boot up in cwm
By holding the power and both volume keys while phone is switched off, then select recovery mode
Easy
1. Always backup your stock rom by cwm
2.wipe data / factory reset
3. Wipe cache partition
4. In mounts and storage select format system
5.install rom/ zip via sd card
6. Reboot and enjoy

This Recovery flashes KitKat Roms Perfectly.
But Before Flashing There a few Steps/Cautions To be taken:
1.After downloading the rom replace the update binary in
\META-INF\com\google\android with the one I am providing.
2.Open updater script in exact same location as above and search for line that starts with 'assert', and delete those lines from updater script.
Doing the above steps is necessary or the recovery wont flash KitKat Roms.
Above Procedure is only for KK roms. JB roms do not reqiure this or any other procedure other than flashing
After Doing Above Procedure I myself flashed and checked CM,PAC & AOSB. They flashed perfectly and worked flawlessly.

Can you please elaborate the installation of the updater script I mean the path file . [emoji3]
and the touch isnt working help pls
Hi,
I own a Canvas 4 (A210).
I downloaded Philz recovery from the link http://d-h.st/dw3.
But instead of downloading from the DOWNLOAD NOW BUTTON, i did it from the DOWNLOAD BUTTON.
The file size was only 206 KB. I didn't observe this and this was my mistake.
i flashed the same through Mobile Uncle Tool and after flashing the screen started flickering, and got struck in the logo screen.
i rebooted the same, but no change.
I flashed custom Rom through SP tools and booted, but the touch screen was flipped and the touch Erratic. and was unable to go ahead the setup screen.
I tried flashing the Recovery from the link you have posted and was successful, but the main problem remained.
I tried flashing different ROM's , but the touch screen problem remained.
The handset was sent to service center and they said that the touch screen needs to be replaced and would cost 3000 + 1 month warranty.
I am now on stock ROM with setup screen.
I read at the link posted below that there is a manual mode available to set the resolution.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2748169.
Is is possible for me to do it ( i am no software engineer)
Or my only option is get the screen replaced.
Please help me out

You have to flash it with adb, using certain commands. I cant explain you how to do that exactly for this phone coz my phone is a lava V2s+ (without camera) so not the same type as this thread is talking about...
But a simple google search will do the job, its the same way as flahing a factory image on a nexus device.
