[Q] Help

Have a rooted Desire. Tried to flash Leedroid but stuck on HTC Boot screen. I've done something and can't even boot phone. Thought I did a back up of my current Rom using Rom Manager. I did backup sd card to file on pc. partitioned my sd card and won't boot up...Please advise for a newbie.

Stuck on Recovery - No SD card - Help!

Ok, I really messed up. the phone was almost bricked, but I finely managed to
get back to Clockwork Recovery.
Now I want to restore my backup or update the rom again, but it says:
No files found.
it seems that the SD card is formatted or unreachable.
What can I do? Any ideas?
It's easy to send your favorite Rom to SD
go to CWM --->Advanced ---> mount USB when screen changed connect your device to PC and then your SD card will appear on monitor now you can put Rom on SD and after flashing the boot.img install rom using CWM.

I've tried that just now,
it says: "unable to open ums file"
when I click it.
Edit: ok I updated the recovery
and now the mounting works!
Downloading the new ROM now, wish me luck!

You won't be able to anything from recovery, you'll have to push it using ADB in fastboot.
What model phone do you have? (use the reply button so I get a notification)

That is assuming he has an extSD, and that his phone model can use one.

Lol find any card reader or borrow working phone from someone to use it as a card reader .
Or you can do adb sideload using this LINK[Method].Note this is for htc one m7, so the procedure is same but you need to download things for your HTC m8 .

Do you have an extSD card? You should be backing up to it before doing ANY modifications to your phone. You could also install a ROM on it with your PC and flash in recovery that way.
If you want to use ADB, do this to enter fastboot:
Hold down the power button + vol. up for about 20 seconds, or until your screen goes off/black.
AS SOON AS IT DOES slide your finger from vol. up to vol. down and hold that till you enter fastboot.
Then connect your phone to your computer, and use one of the many guides on XDA to push the ROM to your phone.
Good luck!

[Q] SDcard wont recognize by pc or phone!

Guys i need your help! I own xperia arc and the micro sdcard sandisk ultra 32GB so every time i flash new kernel custom or stock my sd card cant be recognized by the phone neither by the pc! So i turn off the phone and i putting out the battery and the SD for about 5 minutes! Then my sd card is recognized by both pc and phone! But every time im trying to flash custom kernel and getting to recovery so i can install a custom rom im getting the error ( cant mount sd card) pff if anyone have a solution please help me!

Asus Fonepad 7 completely screwed :(

I've rooted my asus fonepad 7 running lollipop 5.0 I installed Su using cwm and installed it , I then installed Rom Tool Box then I used the feature to choose were apps should install Internal to External SD I did a reboot and this is where the **** began, now everything on my sd card is completely the same as on my internal storage !!
Now I can't install any app from playstore or download anything it says "No SD card" , my phones imei shows null as well , hell I can't even take a screenshot anymore !!
I have CWM recovery installed, I have another Asus Fonepad 7 as well and everything is fine on it, just not this device any suggestions?
Things I tried to fix this...
1. Did a factory reset and wipe (did not work)
2. Flashed Stock Rom (did not work) it's still the same
What I think is wrong is , the device still thinks the External SD card is the internal memory but I don't have any idea on how to fix this ... please help if any solution will work it'll be great I don't mind the risks involved.
details
Can u post the details of stock rom u flashed..
how the hell did you install cwm on it?
