Would you trade your Mi Max for a brand new Mi5 64GB?

Hi there. I came across the opportunity of buying a brand new Xiaomi Mi5 64GB for a very low price (195€). I'm tempted, because it has a much better camera than my Mi Max and I value that. It looks better as well, and has a better SoC (not much difference IRL though). On the other hand, I love phablets and the 6.44" screen is the very reason I bought the Mi Max.
Taking in account that I would pay nothing (I can sell my Mi Max for the same price I'd buy the Mi5), what do you think? Would you trade the Mi Max for a Mi5 64GB?

No. Working a lot on the move and the big 6.44" is something I never want miss.

Me? No. Since I brought the mi max for the screen size and battery life. But if you are after the camera then go buy the mi5

Resurrection Remix for Mi Max 2?? (Oxygen)

Hi how can we get development of this going for Oxygen (MI Max 2)
I currently use my Mi Max Prime as my daily driver only because there is nothing for Mi Max 2 (the Lineage OS has bugs like Bluetooth crashing consistently)
Btw, you SHOULD upgrade to Mi Max 2...much superior. I have both

Until, if ever they release a Prime with a SD660 I will never pay to downgrade my 652 to a 625 period.

I LOL so hard when I read this. I have the same view but if you write it on some forums you will receive heavy bashing!
Some people claim the Max 2 to be a MAJOR upgrade due to stereo speakers, other camera and a claimed build quality improvement. CPU? Not important since MIUI is so smooooooth!

Downgrade to a 652 to a 625 ?
The max 2 have more ram 4 vs 3, and for me I don't see the difference in use for my prime 652 /3 /64 and my new oxygen 625 / 4 / 64. The only difference I note is the battery life who is hugely different, with my helium it's ok for 1,5 day with the oxygen it's 2.5 / 3 days I never see that before! And I use it a lot bluetooth, 4G and wifi always enabled... youtube, gps in the car, surfing and etc... !
So yes I wait for the resurrection remix too for this device !!!

Sadly still no signs of life here, maybe we'll get lucky when source code will be released ? Hope so...

Maybe instead of asking for it in a Mi Max section, which has nothing in common with Mi Max 2 except a name and size - ask for it on a subforum of such phones as Redmi 4 Prime (SD 625 too), or Redmi Note 4 Pro (SD 625 too) for some port?

Rro run extremly smoothly on snap 800 ( Samsung galaxy note 3) in conclusion, Mm2 Can run it without problem

To Mi Mix 2 or Mi Max 3 ?

I am looking to upgrade my Huawei MediaPad X2... Should I go for Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 or wait for Xiaomi Mi Max 3 ? that's my dilemma.. I really like the look of the Mi Mix 2 but don't really want to come down in size from 7" and don't how long it will be before Mi Max 3 is available to purchase ?

I'd wait for the official announcement of the Max 3. They might take the Snapdragon 625 for another spin kappa.

My choice is the Xiaomi MiMax 2
I changed from Samsung Note 4 to this. I'm full lucky. Later in June or so I will look for the MiMax 3.

New Roms

Hi, i've been on holiday for a week, and now i find the roms section full of new ones. Have i missed something? One year without roms and now a ton in a week?
And... Is there a better choice or at least a comparison list? I don't know which one ti chiose
I am currently on AOSIP, fully working, except GCam, the only thing i really miss....

I think that its because leaked xiaomi have anounced that mi max familly will be discontinued and now devs is interesting on mi max 3 for develop roms because no max 4 soon

is Mi max 4 really coming or just BS rumors?

I have been reading a lot on indian sites that mi max 4 and mi max 4 pro are coming in the next 2 months. this goes completely contrary to what xiaomi has announced a few months ago, that mi max line will be discontinued. So please inform me if mi max 4 is really coming or is it just come BS rumors.

Mi max 4 coming in 2020?
My friend told me that he spoke to xiaomi in usa and they mentioned that mi max 4 is coming this year. Anyone can confirm this news/ Rumor?

A 7.2" device with edge to edge AMOLED screen , front facing stereo speakers , QC700 family processor , 6000mAH battery and with in $250 is what I will look for in mi Max 4.Why not any company bother to try ?
