hello i have a lg g4 h815 i put a sd card on my phone. a sandisk 32gb sd card. But now to my problem i cant move photos, music and apps to the sd card?!! where is the problem?!! i cant use the sd card as a adoptable storage only as a portable storage. I have try a hard reset and i tryied to formate the sd card on computer. but no lucky.... i can only format the sd card only as a portable storage and here i cant move photos and apps... please help me i have no root :crying::crying::crying:

I bought a LG G4 H815L with Android 6.0 on it.
The SD card is only recognized by some apps and not others.
In some apps I only see the emulated SD
I tried a 16gb card and a new 32gb.
It's a.. security feature.

I have had similar problems I tried to copy two movies to SD card but it would not do it.
I had to copy to internal memory then move to SD card from tablet it worked for about half way into movie then said video corrupt .
But both work fully when in Internal Memory
I have had same issues with photos that it corrupts the image
This is due to the kit kat update and the SD card issues including the unmounting .
But it will let me copy across so maybe not the same issues as yours
I'm having Android one (Micromax Canvas A1) , with Sandisk 32gb class
10 sd card. Ever since i got Android 6 (Marshmallow) update on my
phone, i'm facing some problem. ie every time i reboot my phone, it
says 'corrupted Sandisk SD card' . so ill hav to re-format my sd card
again & again losing al my datas in it. so, pls help with any
solutions or suggestions to solve this prob.
android marshmallow have some bugs with if you convert you sd card into internal storage do not do that i recommend factory reset you device and then use your sd card as (portable storage) dont select as internal storage then if you need to free up your internal storage just manually do it by going to settings-apps and select app you want to move to the sd card

Have an HTC 10 with a 32GB SD card formated as Adoptable storage.
I am getting an error (SD card is full) while trying to take a photo and some strange freezing when trying to download photos sent through viber.
The SD card is in deed full but there is still internal memory available.
How can i fix the problem? What is the sense of Adoptable storage in that case?
I installed crdroid Android 7.1 to my d855 LG g3 today. Everything was fine until I checked my SD card storage. It gives me two options to use my SD card. First one is external storage which does not allow me to move apps to it, second option is internal. When I choose internal, it shows me a negative storage (-45gb). And apps can't be moved there because phone thinks there is not enough storage in the SD card. My SD card is Samsung evo with 64gb storage. Can anyone help me?

but after OTA update to android 10 it says format sd card.
When I put the same sd card in my backup phone xperia z2 everything work fine.
I have tried other cards 8gb, 16gb, 32gb same problem with android after the latest update.
If I format the card, everything seems ok until I try to use the files on the card.
Example copy some photos to the sd card (copied ok)
Enter album to see pictures on sd card it corupts the files.
What to do?

Got lineage 17.1 android 10. Memory card after format is not usable. The phone cannot save to it. No error though for example for camera app set to store to ext mem.card. If that would not be all enough. Memory card will mess second SIM and can not connect to provider network. It seems that something keeps crashing (keeps trying to connect but no avail). Took off memory card and now been able to use two SIM cards for months.. A definite deal breaker.
