I have the same problem, any solve?

yes i got answer about restoring sn for this device .... at first you must unpack boot.img after that go to ramdisk folder and find file named init (not init.rc) and open it with Hex editor and find text like a ro.serial..... ABCD123 .. change it but not short leght.... save. pack, and flash that file of boot.img to phone simple yes

[Q][MT6577] Can Some One Help?

Hello XDA Dev.
i Have a Big problem as i Think
i Have This Device
**Device Info :
Brand : G-Tide
Model : E80
Android Version : 4.0.4 ICS
Processor : MT6577
Storage : 4GB
****************
i downloaded an App Called Somthing mtk rom edit tool
its an Android App (APK)
it used to resize the data partation of MT65xx i dont remember which one but it made only for MT6565 or something like that , not for MT6577
i haven't Noticed that before
so i used it and select to make the data partation 1.5GB
then reboot to CWM > did Wipe data/cache/dalvik
then reboot
and the phone stuck on boot Logo
i searched the internet with no luck to find a stock firmware for my device
before playing with anything i opened MTKDroid Tools and did a backup from CWM
then i tried to flash another ebr1 from other stock roms similar to my phone [Micromax A110 , Cherry Titan W500]
with no luck
when i was flashing ebr1 or recovery to get in i noticed something strange
*Attachments*
EMMC is 28GB+4GB???
so i tried to flash the whole Roms as i was think it may help
so i flashed
[Micromax A110 then A90s]
A110 > No even Boot logo
with A90s i lost the bootloader
then i managed to disassemble the Phone and Connect Testpoints to GND then i flashed a valid preloader and got my bootloader again
then i mixed between [My Backup Rom, Micromax A110 and Cherry Titan W500] in SP Flash Tool like this :-
**SP Settings :
PreLoader : Micromax A110
DSP_BL : Micromax A110
MBR : Stock
Ebr1 : Cherry Titan W500
UBOOT : Stock
BOOTIMG : Stock
Recovery : STOCK [CWM for My Mobile That works]
SEC_RO : Stock
LOGO : Dosn't Matter but i selected Cherry's Logo
ANDROID : Micromax A110
******************
then i got back the phone with CWM and Boot Logo *Freeze*
i was have a CWM Nandroid Backup when the phone was fully work
i get into the CWM and Restore it then Did Wipe D/C > Reboot
the phone loads the boot animation and boot sound only half of it [like if it was 0:06 it plays only till 0:03 then the sound gone] and hangs on bootanimation
i get back to the Recovery Then tried to mount all
emmc can't be mounted
Code:
Error mounting /emmc!
W:failed to mount /dev/block/mmcblk0p6 (invalid argument)
i was about given up
then i found an app called ScatterEditor
it edit Scatter file + MBR + EBR1 and 2*for non MT6577 devices* + PMT
i created a scatter file using it based on the backed one from MTKDroid Tools
then flashed them all [Scatter + MBR + Ebr1]
then i followed the ScatterEditor Thread and Format Manually with this Settings :-
Begin Address (Hex) » 0x0000000000608000
Format Length (Hex) » 0x0000000000400000
the phone back to stuck At boot logo again
Notice : SP Flash Tool Still Saying EMMC : 28GB+4GB till now.
here is the Blocks Map from MTKDroid Tools Right Now in the attachments, and The Backed EBR1, MBR and Scatter Files from MTK Droid Tools too.
Can Someone Help me?
Thanks For Your Attention

I Found the Soution Finally

The Solution is :
With ScatterEditor Edit Your Scatter File Correctly Then save it
Go to the Folder which you Saved The Scatter
You'll Find the Scatter, MBR +EBR1+2*If your Stock Have is* + PMT
Open The Scatter File with Notepad++ or any Text Editor Then Change This :
Code:
__NODL_PMT
To
Code:
PMT
Save it > Open SP Flash Tool > Select The Scatter File We Just Created and Edited > then select the proper flash files for your phone > and select in PMT The PMT file that ScatterEditor Cteated
Note : You Must Flash All Files Not only MBR + EBR1+2 + PMT
Then Start Download > Connect Your Phone with The Battery While its Off > Wait Till the end
And You have Resized The Partition Correctly As You Want and Everything is Working Perfectly
Say Thanks If It Helps
i Have Now the Valid Stock Rom For This Phone if some one need it PM Me

[permanent fix for imei problem] Needed nvram.bin file

I Accidentally chose format all option in SP flash tool, so to restore my imei permanently , i need nvram.bin file to restore it through SP Tool , i promise to change the imei to my original one. please help.:confused..:fingers-crossed:

ASUS Z00A SIM1 No Signal/Emergency Calls Only

I have an old Z00A that has hardware problems (constant screen flickering, battery stuck at 50%) so I backed up every partition with TWRP including system, boot , data etc and purchased a new Z00A.
I used the new Z00A for a few days to ensure that there was no hardware problems and then proceeded to unlock the boot loader and flash TWRP recovery. At this point both sims were working.
I then restored the backup of the old Z00A with TWRP on the new Z00A (Had to change folder name so TWRP recognizes the backup from the old Z00A). After the restore was complete and the phone booted, sim1 stopped working.
After searching through the forums and Google I found some solutions to it but none of them seem to work
Solutions that I have tried
1. Factory reset the phone through TWRP
2. Wiped every partition through( exclude SD Card) TWRP, flashed stock recovery and installed the official firmware.zip file through stock recovery
3. Did a factory reset with the stock recovery flashed (skimmed through the setup)
4. I downloaded the latest RAW file firmware and installed it through ASUS Flash Tool (Had some issues at first but eventually it went through but sim1 doesn't work)
5. I installed the official Lollipop rom through fastboot and flashed a custom Lollipop rom
6. Flashed stock based MM rom (CleanStock), custom MM and N roms (CM, Lineage, RR) through TWRP and do factory resets
7. I have tried using the adb shell and root commands to set the IMEI but they still return to 004999--------
8. Placed the sims in the old Z00A and they still work
9. Swapped the sim trays of both phones (sim1 and sim2 works on old Z00A but sim1 still doesn't work on new Z00A)
10. Used phonetools to set IMEI but they still return to 004999--------
From flashing the custom roms and swapping the sim trays I can conclude that this is not a hardware problem. On most custom roms it recognizes that there is a sim inserted in sim1 (A pop up comes up about sim has changed etc...) but there is no signal and the phone says emergency calls only or no service. I believe that the baseband or modem file are somehow corrupted due to the TWRP restore from the old Z00A and need to be reflashed but this only seems possible on the Snapdragon variant.
All help is appreciated on this matter :fingers-crossed:

Thank you very much, after flashing this firmware how do I proceed?, I am currently downloading it and hopefully it flashes successfully
Mods can close this thread as he helped me resolve the issue through PMs
Same issue what to do?
Sent from my AO5510 using XDA-Developers Legacy app
My problem was because of a wrong IMEI, I had to flash the debug firmware he linked above and use phone tools 191 to change the IMEI then sim1 began working.

Hi everybody,
I also have a problem with sim card , but it is a little bit different then these that have been described above. First of all my sim is working but not all of the time. I do calls and also I receive a lot of calls. But from time to time sim card just restarts and wants again pin code to unlock ( the phone doesn't restart). A lot of people told me that when they are trying to connect me, their phones are ringing twice and after that they heard busy signal as the call was rejected or the line is busy. In the same time my phone doesn't show any incoming call. Also it is interesting that some people told me that they can't connect me for the hole day and in the same time there is no problem with receiving other calls. From time to time I also can't dial a number. The screen stacks on dialing screen for app. 30 seconds and after that just switch to contacts list.
So what I tried till now:
1. I did a clean install of OTA WW_4.21.40.327
2. Tried to use Sim2 slot, the problems didn't disappear
3. I changed my sim card with new one with no result
4. Tried the sim card with other phone, everything works fine
May be it's time to buy a new phone, but before that I want to be sure that the problems are not caused by software bug.
Any advices and help will be appreciated.
P.S.
The phone is rooted, Magisk 13.3 is installed. The phone is ZE551ML, Z00AD

is your phone fixed now?
i have the same problem with my lenovo p90 (missing imei). but i cant enabled its com port (no way to fix it with intel phone tool without com port existed). no reference to enable it (the com port) nor imei repair on lenovo p90.
i need you to enter your phone with adb shell as root, and create image of /dev/block/mmcblk0p3 and /dev/block/mmcblk0p5. or just copy config and factory folder, then zipped them, then shared here. i need them, to restore what I accidently erased (config and factory partition).
trust me, i won't do any harm to your specific data.
you're my last hope. i hope you'll understand.

Sn writer / Maui Meta doesn't work for null imei for realme3.

Give possible solution for imei
@yas8say , has provided possible solution, I will try that next time I'll get this error. In thread brick repair by @ATDteam .
If you can use SP flash tools, SN writer DOES work on your fone, but it's figuring out a certain timing and sequence of events. that prove my point. Your at the point you need to be, it's waiting on you doing what I'm trying to say... your too demanding wanting the quick fix...
Everytime you post pauses me in case I need to change what I write to you, so slow down, your distracting me lol
Sn Writer is actually a pain to use, and there are many versions. But I learnt a sneaky fast path with it's appearing to not work. It does work, but kind of in reverse of what you think it does.
Sn Writer, strange but true, calls 'serial' as in serial number, 'barcode' in some versions, so some think because they cant see 'serial' that it wont work. I know because at first, I did. Took me a while to learn this.
Load up Sn Writer, it'll ask to load a file, the window that opens should be where you see MTK DA ALL IN bin, select it. Then choose scatterfile from stock firmware.
Now set correct attestation keys found in stock rom, your aftersales stock, with your attestation keys /google keys blah blah...
You then have to choose what you want to flash. If you see serial, that is NOT what you want to flash, you have to flash BARCODE! (your fones serial number) I know you said IMEI, but in order, SN writer flashes BARCODE before IMEI 1, so you MUST flash serial and mac PACKAGE given in stock rom?
So what I do is open the window to type in BARCODE box, my serial number.
Imei 1 is obvious, but you MUST do imei 2 as well, or it will add a few digits to imei 1's mac, put it in imei 2 that may not corespond to your attestation key.
Over to fone.
I turn my fone OFF, hit start in SNWriter, and plug phone into pc, and wait. You can tie your hands to your chair for a min, because if you interupt this TIMING...
Just when you think it wont work, folks give up. Wait that wee bit longer... it will show pass or fail. If its all genuine stock, it cant fail, only impatience caused by not knowing this sequence, and SN's bug-inesss
I'm too tired right now, and I see you posting again lol, my eyes are dry and its sleep time, and since you think it wont work, I'll catch up later today on this post, beacuse I'm gettin ratty with myself lol
Patience.. I'll be back...

I have faced this too, but luckily i had already taken a backup from recovery of nvram ,nvcfg, nvdata partitions .After flashing the recovery i just restored the partitions.
SO, GUYS IF YOU CAN BOOT INTO RECOVERY FIRST THING YOU HAVE TO DO BEFORE FLASHING ANY PARTITION IS TO MAKE A BACKUP OF THEM

The unique problem I am facing is that I was able to flash the firmware, but I couldn't do anything after that because I did format which resulted in """ null imei """ without it the in-depth test app doesn't work, so the after process of bootloader unlocking and then rooting is unachievable, I can't downgrade with official ozip file given in realme website, I did that and it resulted in hard brick( basically without unlocking bootloader I can't do sh*t) , my device is up & running but without imei the further processes are stalled, I will try the method of using sn writer mentioned here..the repair guy even mentioned something about bin fine not found so he couldn't write imei, I have successfully used Maui Meta & SN Writer to write imei of my other mediatek chip containing device , but it didn't worked on realme3, yes you may have solved my problem of "" Download not Complete"" I have posted two pictures in the brick repair thread by @ATDteam . Thanx.
I will try to repair imei and post the outcome here.
2 years ago I formatted by other mediatek chip device lenevo and it did show NVRam error in wifi, after repairing imei it didn't show , & now this mediatek chip device realme does show NVRam error in wifi :: -- NVRAM WARNING: Err =0*10

If you want to unlock bootloader just use mtkclient ,its very simple.
And if you want my imei files i can provide you but you got to have twrp installed.BTW where are you from?
Tried mtkclient & mtksu app , didn't work, first I will write imei, then use in-depth test, then unlock bootloader, then downgrade, then root using mtksu.. fingers crossed

My device is realme3, it's on Android10 c.17, will I will be able to root with magisk ? Ok I will try.
No straight business,
Ok i tried, gave same error preloader dax main. .., so I switched off , as soon as the device turns off n pressed all three buttons to go into brom mode, the other cmd with python command ran and wrote twrp Spartan recovery,, then switched on, key combo didn't work, bcoz it was showing ' the serial is not match......' so I typed adb reboot recovery, it booted to realme UI recovery.
Surely have to downgrade to Android 9 to root & install recovery
