HELLO EVERYBODY! i was interested if anybody could help us owners of the s6 edge to instal the aod service from the s7 edge. i was able to enable the servise in the display settings by putting the folders and files(see attachment) in the right folder(system, priv-ap) and setting the right permissions for the forlders and files, but when i press the aod in the menu(everything is activated) nothing happens......could anyone give me a hand? thx!!

Did you succeed anything on installing AOD on S6?
I have Always ON display on s6 edge (g925f) its easy...You must instal custom rom and kernel...
For example Noble Experience or Note 7 port with AOD enabled and tn2009_kernel...
I tried and was working...but not really battery friendly.
Had about 3-4%/h drain doing nothing...

I have MOAR on my s6 edge plus, but I do not have some of my edge functions, like night clock, is there a way that I can have MOAR and have my edge functions, I tried to get true edge mod, but there is no good download, is there any way to get the download or have all my edge functions on my s6 edge plus?

I tried the true edge mod with the moar rom. It did run the night clock but not the edge notifications. It was draining the heck out of my battery too. Other than that there is no way to get it going that i could find

I know me too, lickily i had my phone when we got the mod to install note 5 roms so i was able to do that. But if you root, install exposed and amplify, app ops exposed you can really trick this phone out to have great battery life and even customizations. We also do have skyhigh kernal for this phone and it runs pretty good

download and install the apk!
change your wallpaper (live wallpapers choos pixie,Cobalt ) apply it and lock it wait for aod to come and you will see animated figure (time by time is a different one!)
it works if you enable the aod on stock or a custom rom! (on android pie tested!)

why did u feel forced.
i was a huge custom rom fan for years, but with my pixel i was happy with the stock-rom.

Aod mod on stock rom stopped working, noise cancellation microphone stopped working and sound was terrible so i disabled that too
overall i love and i hate my pixel the same time ..
i upgraded to a galaxy s9 yeh a bummer but is the only phone so far that i can get dual speaker aod is fine and pixel 9.0 rom installed
my pixel xl was a disaster warranty doesn't cover anything because i live in Cyprus
microphone problems, wifi not connecting (motherboard issue ,i fixed it by DIY added a piece of paper where the wifi chip sits on board), battery wear, overheating issues etc )
and then my mom dropped it by an accident so she had to buy me a brand new phone and with the s9 ambient music like pixel 2 xl does work!!!

Not yet, maybe never.
I want this too, but the feature with good lock are a close second. You just don't have the task bar
Ladies and gentlemen, I beg you, on samsung galaxy Tab 4 you can turn on descope mode dex, it runs on on Note 9, I would welcome it, thank you for any advice, there is a lot of how to turn the phone into descope, but I wonder just this, I'm definitely not the only one who thought and who would like it

At least Android 10 with One UI 2.0 brought a better manual mode to the Galaxy S9 and S10, with a possibility to change the exposure time and aperture. Let's hope that this feature is also added to the A50 when Android 10 arrives.

Module doesn't work
Adding line on build prop also doesn't work .
Do you know why ? Bcz it's already enabled but limited .
Want to start off by saying, yes I've searched, yes I've tried the apps that people have recommended here and else where. I am looking for the best possible solution to my dilemma. I had a s8. I used the edge action (etc), simply for the screen capture and instant cropping of a picture or, making something into a gif.
I've found, online, the various versions of the "app" that samsung put out but, none of which will install on my US version a50.
Is there a way that this can be side loaded or, is there someone that can bake it into a rom instead?
Side note, the apps available on the play store and the galaxy store, suck.

For me , better is edge panels apk from samsung a71. Yesterday get one for wife and edge panel from a71 is that I wanna now in A50. Maybe someone do a port.
