What goes wrong if it is shared? If ASUS can not keep their promise, why should we?
They have promised to release official marshmallow before the end of the Q2 of 2016.
But they have refused to keep it. Then why should you beta testers keep your promise to them to not leak the beta image?
Why...???

It was never a promise. It was an estimate. When no one has developed MM for an Intel phone before, you don't know what problems you're going to run into. And if people act as you suggest they'll stop the beta program altogether.

They can never stop it as they make business out of it. Already heared that they are adding facebook and instagram etc... to their current build which gives business to them. We are their market and they are working for their profit, and not for us.... If they stop they will loose... No need to worry, it's all business..... Market market market...

What goes wrong is we are no longer allowed to test for ASUS and trust me, they do keep tabs. ASUS gives release dates which with any other manufacturer are always subject to change. I have never seen ASUS send a release that says "We Promise" anything.

Judging from the discussion I have been reading Knox is included and causes some problems with root but you can disable Knox from your app manager. Anyone with porting experience care to weigh in?

I tried flashing a couple ROMs with this base and all they did was get as far as the boot screen, and then the phone vibrated in a pattern similar to Morse code lol XD I went to recovery and restored my last ROM and all was well. I hope we see a port soon!

Nothing yet as far as I know. We are waiting for Samsung to release a kernel for our models.

Today when when check for update from my Note 3 and i got a notification, i'd like to do the update but i got my Note 3 rooted since i got it. My question is can I update then rooted later, if so what kinda rot program i need to to, do i need to unrooted 1st ?

So far I've had this phone for two weeks and I love it. This is the longest I've gone without a rooted phone in 8 years. I don't feel the need to have a rooted phone for now...

This should get moved right away. The post is a slew of negative things that are counter productive to the community. One its false and misleading, titled at&t multiple times and posted in an at&t only forum, someone is going to brick their device and be out 700 bucks cause of this joker. Not to mention this is essentially spam, the only responses to this have been negative as its a fraudulent post, but that's not development and its doing nothing but bring down the integrity of the forum in general. Yeah been using the Chinese ROM out the box. I got the play store installed etc. I like the way it looks but I hate the way it handles notifications! I hate how it handles custom ringtones and third party apps for stuff like messages, launcher etc. So now waiting on a proper android version to solves my problems!

I purchased the mi6 yesterday based on the looks and performance/price ratio. I hope stock android comes pretty soon since I come from a Huawei Mate 8 which I had to sell because I freaking hate chinese customs.
