I Have Purchased S20 Ultra SM-G9880 OZS1 ATCT, Taiwan Version BRI snapdragon. And iam from egypt which sell the exynos version.
I Found Call Recording Not Present and samsung members is in Chinese language.
My question,
1 - can i flash rom G988U instead of G9880 to get the call recording enabled and phone samsung member in english
2- if not, how can i customize the G9880 to meet my requirements like call recording & language,,etc
3- is there a custom rom for g9880 which enable all features like usa version or global version, or i already stucked with the g9880
4- why there's no option for 5G network
im from egypt too all i did is installing open china software you will get everything you need

thanks i did it. I downloaded from sammobile. After flashing the firmware l, i didn't find google service. I installed the google play store manually. After that installed the apps if google. And i get call recording. Thanks for your information.
Samsung members & Samsung pay will always be in Chinese whatever you did it is locked to the origin of the phone , and you will not be able to test 5G network in Egypt for at least 3 years , may be with s23 :laugh:
Any way where both of you got the taiwan version in Egypt, I want to get one for myself also

the only problem i faced till now in open China software is Samsung pass. Samsung pass not installed in this software and i try to install it by download apk but it didn't work
To get samsung pass you should flash hongkong firmware but you will sacrifice call recording but you will keep 5g which is not usable in Egypt anyway
did you find any issue with CHC rom in egypt?

I have a very serious doubt, my phone is the LG G7 G710N Korean operator (open), I have instaled the Korean version libre without problem, the question is whether I will have a problem installing the Spanish version G710EM or not, since at if it can be done the other way around (losing some settings and features along the way, like VoLTE). I have been tracking the software updates of the phone and found out that, there have been atleat 4 updates in other countries like in Germany, Poland, Spain, each having the same model no, just different regions, and here in India we have received only 2 updates.
I had been searching several forums and have been trying to install other region firmware on my LG wing, but have been unsuccessful.
I had been using LGUP software 1.16 with LGUP_common.dll 2.1 .
The error which I am getting is , UNABLE TO CHANGE REGION FROM COM55_EU5 TO COM5_EU1
I have searched through other forums and have not been able to find anything.
If someone have the idea, how this can be avoided and I am able to install other region firmware on the phone, as i have read at many places that you can install other region firmwares till the model no is same.

you would use LG Up for this. Korean models should be flashable, but be careful. This is how I bricked my LG Wing

I have the same model of phone but unfortunately i am unable to flash the android 11 I found in other region. I have used various flash able technics tp no avail. I am willing to take all the risk if only someone can guide me through.

Yes , u can cross flash , but u need first to find edl firehose for lg wing
Only you can if try to find lg wing sd765g firehose .
