Battery and Charging Icon issues

I have an odd issue. I am running the stock ATT rom until I can get the stupid phone to take the HardSPL (different issue being worked on).
The icon at the top shows the battery at full capacitiy all the time. I have Phone alarm on and it has a battery indicator that shows it as low as 20% while battery icon is still 4 bars full. Also there are times when I remove it from the usb and the charging icon stays on instead of showing the battery icon. If I soft reset then it seems to go to normal and the charging icon is replaced by battery which seems to always show full.
I am quickly getting frustrated at this ATT rom. My Kaiser was set up perfectly for my liking and I want to get this to the same point.

Battery Ico showing always charging

'Hey there,
I am running Minco V6 with Franco Kernel, and before that I was using rasbeanjelly with trinity. All of a sudden I noticed that The battery Icon was showing as if I was always charging the phone, same thing in the battery stats, it shows as if I was always charging the phone. So far this has not represented any major issues, but it is annoying when the battery goes below 15 % and it starts sending me low battery alerts. The battery icon switches from charging to discharging every 2 seconds son the alert is flashing all the time when battery is below 15%.
I try reseting the battery stats, flashing different ROMS and kernels, fixing permitions but no success so far.
Any Ideas??
Regards

[Q] Unexpected shutdown when battery is low

Recently my N7(2013) will shut itself down when the battery is low (about 10%) without any warnings, not even the "Shutting Down" dialog that it should show whenever it shuts downs (except for the usual low batt warning when it reaches 15%). After the shutdown, I cant even turn it back on not even the screen, nor the low batt (waiting for charger) screen is showing up until I plug it into a power source the it will show the charging screen and then I can turn it on again.
Its been a few times now, not sure its a hardware or software problem though. It shouldnt shut down when it still has 10% in it right?
Attached is the screenshot of the Battery Usage that shows the battery level shots down to 0% immediately from 10%.

Are you using a battery monitoring program (battery doctor, better battery stats, etc)? If so, look in their settings, to see if they are set to shut down @ 10%...

Nah I don't trust these apps so I don't use them. Moreover I'm did not root it so even if I use them they shouldnt have the permission to shut it down
Simple fix
It is an issue I have suffered with a couple of times and it appears we are not alone. It seems that the battery calibration is out of whack. When you charge your nexus up does it stay at 100% for quite a while? I
tried factory data resets amongst other things and nothing worked. I stumbled across a thread with a really simple fix. Turn your tablet off for 2 hours. Then turn it on again. Mine miraculously lost 26% of battery in that time (from 100% where it had been for 8 hours down to 74%). Then it started to use the battery at a normal rate. Working fine now.

I my battery gone?

Hi dear friends, i have triyed the battery test in htc diagnostic program, and i finish the session with a percentage more then 75% so it means is a good thing, but sometimes the phone shuts down when the battery says is at 40% and one second later is at 1% , and sometimes when the percentage is under 50% and i try to shot a pic it does the same, i triyed to calibrate it multiple times, but is always the same, maybe is an battery related problem?

Phone turns off randomly with low battery warning

Hello everyone! Recently my Note II started to behave differently. Whenever I charged it completely, the battery abruptly fell to sometimes 60% sometimes 40% immediately followed by low battery warning indication and shutting down. I tried changing ROM and calibrating the battery again but nothing worked. Finally I replaced the battery with a new one and also clean flashed another ROM in a hope to see if the problem is gone or still there. But to my surprise the problem is still intact. Now, when I turn on the phone the battery is 90% and when I keep using it, it drains normally, but as soon as I put it idle it turns off randomly. When I turn the phone back on the battery is still at the same percentage level at which is turns off. I believe there is not an issue with the battery. Please help me what to do, I am using TWRP recovery that doesn't gives the battery stats wipe option too. Should I flash a new ROM again? I would greatly appreciate if someone please helps me in sorting this problem.
What I have already done!
1. Replaced the battery
2. Changed the ROM
3. Re-calibrated the battery
