OP X stock camera app deleted - OnePlus X Themes and Apps

Hey guys. I'm new here. My newly rooted OnePlus X 's stock camera app got accidently uninstalled before creating a backup. I know there is a thread with link to two files on Google drive. Tried that but then again the camera app won't open(isn't respondin/opening) and sometimes says parsing issue. Need Help guys

Thanks Mahesh . But won't that erase all the data in my phone ? And the warranty too as id be unlocking the bootloader . Can't we install the apk somehow ?

Never use direct root option. Do the full procedure with unlocking BL, install TWRP and then you can safely tweak your phone.
You should do it now if it's not already done.
But in your case, maybe if the flash go OK with that, then wipe caches & it should be OK (you shouldn't loose your data).
Or, you can first try to open the camera app info and erase data and cache, but your problem can be with lib so it won't work...

Unlocking BL will erase your data and apps.

Yes. Data will be gone.
The trick use flashy tools to flash twrp when bl is locked. Go TWRP backup. Then unlock bl. After that all dat gone, use twrp restore back. I did before.

all you need to do is goto htc's dev site for unlocking http://www.htcdev.com/
no other steps are necessary if all you want is an unlocked device to allow apps root access... i think this is what you are asking

Wrong ! Unlocking the bootloader will not give you root acces .... Like guich said, unlock , flash a custom recovery , and push the superuser.zip to gain root acces .
This is the second post this morning i read from you where you give incorrect/strange advice ! Please stop that and search for the right answer first yourself
Thank you !

[Q] Install Stock Recovery

Hi Experts,
i had rooted my phone a while back and installed custom recovery , and was on stock ROM.
Due to issues on official emails, i had to unroot my phone and relock it.
All is fine, however i did miss 1 step, that is, i still have a diff recovery on it, and i want to install my stock recovery back so that i can install OTA.
I do have the stock recovery (i think).
So is theree a quick way to do that without unlocking the bootloader again or without losing any data?
Let me know PLEASE!
Regards
Manas

To flash recovery, your bootloader must be unlocked. Do you still have unlock.bin file?

As far as I remember you will lose data. Make a backup (Titanium, or similar app) of important data, unlock the bootloader, flash stock recovery, reboot, restore data.
And keep the bootloader unlocked!
damn!! if i keep my bootloader unlocked, i keep getting an error from an anitvirus kinda tool tht i had to install so that i receive my office emails. thanks for your help, will do this when i have a lot of time..

Perhaps Your ROM is Modified Or Using Custom Rom
Also You're Using Rooted ROM
Anytime You Restore That Backup SU is activated
So You Should Able To Reblock Your Device Again
And Using Original RUU.exe ROM
Thanx for help bro but I unrooted my phone last night successfully by flashing a backup of stock rom with the help of twrp

Does anybody have a copy or know where to find it. My htc10 version is cid: htc__34 mid: 2PS620000?

Well root yes. But if you delete the bootloader you will not be able to "load" anything to "boot"
In other words device will be just a brick

Well original state , Android has always had a bootloader. You cannot delete it.
Maybe you just want to unroot and relock bootloader?
This is possible. And answered in the thread. Do a search.

Couple of warnings first. If you are new to Android and rooting, you might not know, lot of times problems(bootloops) happen when you do not do it correctly.
If phone is not on full stock unrooted system then locking bootloader will cause phone to "brick".
Do you have reason to need it locked again?
Usually to unroot all you need to do is flash the stock boot.img if you are on nougat or stock Ramdisk if you are on Oreo.
Magisk manager has an unroot option that will work only if you installed root from twrp.
