[DEV] Update Kernel in preparation for Lolipop

Calling all dev's with kernel knowledge! In preparation for the release of Android 5.0, I updated the stock CM kernel for d2 to 3.10 using the patches available on kernel.org. However, I am inexperienced with kernels in general and thus, I am looking for some assistance with the update process as a whole. My source can be found here https://github.com/frap129/android_kernel_samsung_d2. Any and all contributions are highly appreciated!

T310 Device tree, kernel, and vendor sources

I'm trying to build Cyanogen from source based on the instructions here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=54118631&postcount=4
It looks like there's the device and kernel sources in this CM12.1 thread

But what do I use for the vendor sources?

No - this isn't something you can flash. A vendor tree contains all prebuilt/proprietary blobs which are needed on source built ROM's to get some things working (e.g. NFC, Bluetooth etc). This is for developers to use.

No - that's the kernel for a specific device
Under gpl license rules kernel sources must be made available.
This is not the source code for Miui
See the following about kernel licence

[Source code] Official bootloader & kernel source coude now available!

Planet Computers have just released their official source code for both bootloader & kernel on Github.
This will surely help push for faster custom development
