Is there any application of for Nokia X2 to change its pixel density with includes the rom of android 4.3 with a layer of Nokia X Software Platform 2.1. ?
Do we have root Nokia X2 ?

Please help me .
Thank You.

From what i have seen , Nokia X2 isnt good with chaning pixel density (Default is 217 ppi) since resolution is 480x800
I run my phone on 240 ppi after i have changed resolution to 570x950.
Its Perfect. Amount that fits in screen is good. Everything is Crisper. ( in CM12.1)
I tried this in stock 4.3 by nokia but it had huge problems. And for obvious reasons you need to root.
I would recommend flash custom Rom and then change ppi in order to get best experience.

Cos in Cm12 you can change dpi and resolution without app.
YOu can do it in terminal emulator with
wm command

Decreasing DPI in 4.2.1

Hi all.
I'm blind as a bat, so I have to keep my phone at a DPI of over 350 (the default as you might know is 320).
I've been doing so without a problem with many ROMS and factory images in ICS up to 4.1.2 JB, but since I switched to 4.2.1 I haven't been sucesful. No matter if the ROM du jour has an option to switch DPI or if I change the value manually on the build.prop, my stuff remains the same size. So I'm wondering if the ro.sf.lcd_density string maybe got deprecated/changed in 4.2+? Has anyone been sucesfull in decreasing your Gnex DPIs with 4.2.1?

OK, so it *can* be done. Only I can't. Will keep trying.
thanks.
Strange. I have my build.prop edited and has worked fine across several roms.. I've never tried to increase it though, maybe that's it?
OK so I do need new glasses, and maybe I'm a moron but I can't make it work.
Check it out by yourselves: increase the number to anything above 320 and reboot and things will still look the same size.
You can decrease the number to make things smaller, but increasing it does nothing,
Little off topic : have you thought of laser eye operation in the eye ? A friend of mine was quite blind id say and since that he can see much better now when he drives I don't have to hold the door haha

I'm not a candidate for laser surgery. I've tried wiping cache and dalvik and reflashed gapps, but I'm still not compatible with lasik
I'll have to stay with 4.1.2 for a while. I'm just hoping this is temporary and will be corrected in the future, as opposed to a permanent change starting with 4.2.

Just boosted my DPI to 360 on sourcery 4.4 which is 4.2.1. There is a noticeable difference from 320.
Also have you tried playing with accessibility in settings?
---------- Post added at 03:45 AM ---------- Previous post was at 03:40 AM ----------
On sourcery rom goto settings>sourcery tools then scroll right on that screen until you get to build prop editor option. Change to desired DPI reboot and enjoy

Hi thanks. The very first thing I do when flashing a new rom is to enable large text in accesibility, yes. My next step is clear then, I will flash sourcery. I haven't tried that one yet. I tested Xylon, Xenon and chainfire (??? sorry the name escapes me at the moment) and had to revert to 4.1, which in itself is a huge pain and waste of time.

Third party camera app until HTC tweaks their firmware?

I'm curious what you guys think. I've never used a 3rd party camera app, so I have no idea if they're even worth it.
Discuss . . .

I don't think that is necessary given the tweaks that are producing good results: capping ISO 200, knocking sharpness down - 1.5 and using medium resolution.

Sorry if this question sounds dumb, but you can either select ISO 200 from the settings screen or from going into manual mode and setting it to 200. Correct me if I'm wrong, but wouldn't this take every photo at exactly ISO 200?
How do you "cap" it meaning to allow the camera to select a lower ISO if necessary, but not to exceed 200? DSLRs will do this by selecting auto ISO with a 200 cap, or 400, 800, etc. Am I missing something or are you referring to simply setting the ISO to 200? I saw no setting of "auto with a cap".
Whilst waiting for the next OTA for my HIMA, I spent $3 for DSLR CAMERA PRO from Play Store, and it is giving +15% over the current state of stock camera though..

I will give that app a try. I've also been using Camera FV-5 and by the way, Flavio, the developer of that app says the next update will add the ability to save to an external SD card.
The XDA settings seem to help using the stock camera app. I guess it remains to be seen how much, if any, HTC can do with this sensor via software updates.
You're right.. even increasing all by 0.5 makes a huge impact..

I notice you have sharpness set to a +0.5. I thought the XDA recommendation was to set sharpness at a -1 or -1.5?

Yes, your picture was fine. I guess I'll just play around with sharpness a little to see what I like best. Thanks for your help.
I like the one Made in Sweden. Keep em coming Did you use the table to keep the phone stable?

Bumping because I'm stuck with an app for this "fine" phone.
I'm sorry but it's the only relevant thread about this problem.

Google Camera on p10 lite

I searched on the net for a working gcam version on the p10 lite, and found working (not crashing) versions that were originally developed for the MI 8 by BSG.
The hdr works, too.
But the biggest drawback is that the colors do not fit. Sometimes the picture is black and white, sometimes too red.
Does anyone know a working version/good color settings?
i tried a lot and they all have the red and blue channel inverted or something like this, i think google cam works from raw and the raw record on this model is messed up.
Can u pass me the APK link?

Thank you for the link, unfortunately I can't get satisfying results, color is completely off, it's bothers me about not having enough space on the memory left (even) though there is...
All other functions than straight shooting and panorama do blackout the screen...
Don't understand this as "complaining" my only intention is to provide feedback!

Gcam
Hi Guys,
i was looking for a working gcam apk too and i just tried about thirty apks from
https://www.celsoazevedo.com/files/android/google-camera/ and https://www.cyanogenmods.org/google-camera/#download.
Most apps don't even open or crash after a few seconds.
With my p10 lite (android 11 octaviOS) this and MGC_8.1.101_A9_GVv_MGC.apk app work properly.
Hope that helps.

120 Hz Screen rate

I have found this video in a spanish forum , and it works on my Exynos

The S10+ does not have a 120hz screen, therefore this doesn't actually work.

Seems like people don't understand the hardware limitation.
then why xiaomi dev boost screen at 66~90hz and it work perfect ?!
So this is fake?
When I changed this and tried to set QHD this came up, it defintly changes something because I went into my settings after I done that and tried to set QHD but wouldn't allow me to, It defintly flicks a real switch on in real settings for that to show up but if it works or not is different storey

Search for smoothness of movement in activity launcher
not working.
I have tried it and there is no any visible difference between the to settings
simply because there is physical limitations

I hope you were just joking.
About hardware limitations !! I think our S10 can be overclocked upto 90hz !! We just Need a developer who can do it !! just Like they did with poco f1 ,and Mi9 !!
It could be in the code of the settings, but it does not mean that the actual panel will support it. Highly unlikely that Samsung had the solution for 120Hz more than a year ago.
If not 120hz, is it possible that this setting pushes the display at its higher possible hardware limited display rate? For example up to 70 or 75hz?
And may be its April's fool joke ?

Possible!! Ofcourse !! ! If poco f1 an LCD panel can able to overclock @69hz and Xiaomi Mi9 super amoled can overclock @84hz !! So Our S10 can easily able to go upto 90hz !! No doubt!! But unfortunately we dont have any good developers for our devices !!
This feature is available
dont understand as it not in english....
but how can we do that ? to have option to choose..

I saw that the app detects whether my phone is running light mode or dark mode and adjusts home screen accordingly. I love the live wallpaper when on light mode but I don't like light mode at Al and I prefer the dark mode. But I don't like the way the app works in dark mode.
Any solutions?
And if you make one, can you please make it in full resolution? It's too blurry. My device is flagship so I don't have performance issues. Please sir. Please make the app

Sir,
This is what I'm looking for, but I'm looking for the original quality ones, I mean always day mode, but full resolution. Please sir, please modify the app. I don't like the linuxct's port as the wallpaper goes dark if I use dark mode of my phone. And I don't like light mode of my phone. So, Please.

Basically the same app but always on light mode.
But make the mars live one. I don't need the earth live

I second this.I use dark mode on my phone but these wallpapers look too damn good to be dimmed like this.

Thanks for the port! I am using a Huawei mate 30p so the linuxct version should work quite well but it kept revert to my original wallpaper after a while.
But I did not have any issues with yours. Thanks. If there is a higher res version with only bright mode, that will be very much appreciated. Cheers.
Yea man please if u have time and resources, mod the linuxct's port to be day mode only, despite devices's theme setup.
Nevermind, linuxct has made the only day mode app already
