Aosp dev rom

hi DEVs one of friend got AOSP developer Rom on his Redmi 1s
i have restored his backup via TWRP and the ROM works
bugs are WIFI and BT not turning on

Is this rom based on armani tree or mokee or cyanogen or somethin?

Its just stock ROM developed by xiaomi

AFAIK its a port rom n its development is abandoned there is no point install a Port really when you have rom like CM11 PA Mokee Carbon etc

If im not wrong, you might have come to XDA Redmi 1s section for the first time.
Everyone in this section knows that the RIL bug has been solved so many days before. Syhost builds have already been tested. Even armani-devs has released cm12.
So why are you so late to the party??
Before creating a new thread, you could have atleast searched...

Thanks for this useful list, I didn´t know about that some roms for this device like dotOS, CrDroid, Mokee (my preferred with RR).
I use mi-globe rom and it is most stable from miui roms, include iPhone like gestures, only free themes (no micredit required themes) and accept third party themes but i didn´t try yet multirom or miui pro.

Are above mentioned miui ROMs have one finger quick reply from notification bar feature? And are they based on global or China
And suggest me one based on global rom

yes, but its still one rom with differences between xiaomi and miui pro ... languages for example

Camera does NOT work for the most 3rd party apps (as I know!)

For LOS the known bug should be: camera not working in 3rd party app, at least that's the latest I tested.

Question Will Android GSI Roms work on Redmi Note 8 (2021) ?

I saw in an another thread someone recommending to try GSI custom roms.
Can i install a GSI rom on this device via fastboot?
If i can, how?
Should i?
Can i get security updates?
Can i revert to the offical stock miui if something doesn't work?

Its been more than 1 month since the device Poco F4 / Redmi K40S was launched and still there is no separate forum created for this device on XDA. Will this device receive no love from the xda community?
