Notification bar icons - Xiaomi Mi Max Questions & Answers

Is it possible to make notification bar icons is the actual notification not the icon of the app?

It looks like this Xposed module will do that.

I have met with this bug too. The solution, which worked for me:
Install again this app --> Activate in the Xposed --> Reboot your phone.
Launch the app --> Go to the settings inside the application --> Disable all possible options.
Go to the phone's settings --> Applications --> Select the app --> Wait until the system calculating.
Stop the app --> Wipe the cache, then the data --> Uninstall the app.
After those steps, reboot your phone, and you will maybe have the default statusbar color.
And there is another bug. The color doesn't change correctly.! It left the last used app color when u open new app.! Any idea how to correct it.

I've been using it for a while, I admit it is awesome, but one thing I've found is it drain too much battery life, so I no longer use it.
I'm using nature rom...3.2
using Tri flat theme...
I installed this...
Went to Xperia Home app setting...
Changed to status bar color to 6600000
(I wanted gradient status bar)
Still I didnt get...
But I got it when I forcibly enabled status bar transperency using gravity box....
What should i do?
I also use nature rom. As a launcher I use Apex launcher.
I am trying to get the statusbar transparent, but it just doesn't work.
Have you got any ideas?
Sent from my bad-ass Xperia S featuring the wonderful Nature ROM, using Tapatalk app.
Haven't got as of yet....
Still have to force enable it using gravity box... Otherwise no gradient stuff...
Works good with me. Thanks.
For me Linus Torvalds is the greatest man on earth
So...are you using Gravity box or something...or only this module..?
I use gravity box to make the status bar and navbar transparent. Then i use this app (tinted status bar) for the gradient. I use systemui from this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2677095
For me Linus Torvalds is the greatest man on earth
Yeah...that's what i did too...
But isnt it possible to make it gradient only using this app and not gravitybox..?
Yeah, you can achieve gradient even without gravityBox. See my ss.
For me Linus Torvalds is the greatest man on earth
Please tell me how to do it...?
I'm using Nature Rom with iOS status bar....

Color app icons in status bar - without custom rom?

Searched high and low today - is there a way to color the app icons, e.g., mail, sms, wifi available, etc., without using a custom rom?
I am using a rooted sprint g3 with tweaksbox and cobalts ui tweaks. Status bar looks cool until a damn notification icon pops up and we're back to the white icons.
Any tips or suggestions are appreciated. TIA!

Thanks for the suggestion. It fixed the battery issue I had after dl'ing cobalts status bar pkg for tweaksbox.
However, this app doesnt help me color the notification icons in the status bar, eg., mail, sms, wifi available, etc.

Im not sure I follow you. I have no other version of this app and dl'd the most recent. Unless you mean to say that I should uninstall tweaksbox?

Yeah I was talking about Tweaksbox. They are gonna crash inside the firmware and turn to default because they are not gonna overwrite each other. If colors are not change after you uninstall reboot and make changes with new app then it's not working for you. Also make sure you select LG roms option. I remember there is an option called I use LG Rom something like that. Good luck.

Thanks, again. I dont think theres a conflict here. The issue is getting the notificaton icons in the status bar colored. These are the mail, sms, keyboard, notification icons on the left and not the status icons on the right, eg, signal, wifi, headphones, locaton, battery.
Hmm maybe this? forum.xda-developers.com/xposed/modules/flat-style-colored-bars-t2925521

Again, this is a mod for the wifi, signal bar, battery, etc.
I am looking to color the notification icons, e.g., mail, sms, etc.

Boomsound notification icon

Anyway to hide it from showing in the status bar, notification shade, and lockscreen?
Sent from my HTC 10 using XDA-Developers mobile app
I'm interested in that too, most of all in the lockscreen. Lets hope someone can tell us how to do it.

Only with root, I believe.
An HTC update could remedy this.

Statusbar mods Without root - app

Was missing the center clock and came across this app. Has a good number of mods that tend to come with custom ROMs. Worth a try for those who can't root. It's called "Status" in the play store.

Good call... Can't figure out how to edit the title, only the body ... Maybe a mod can do it.

Odd. I'm stock and don't have it.
Do you have a special theme on? I notice your navigation buttons are Oreo style instead of Pie.

No special theme
On the Flash kernel.
Magisk with vanced YouTube and viper.
Its not there directly after boot, and skinnier when no other notifications are present. I think it's tasker or something similar that I tried to suppress.
Solved: it was my network speed app
Glad you figured it out

I'm on Pie. My navigation bar looks the same. No special theme.
I forgot that the regular buttons still has the filled triangle instead of the open one with the gesture controls.
