Hello all,
My HTC One m8 software stopped working. Now when i turned on the phone logo appears and then phone again turned off.
Any solution guys

May be a hardware problem like battery failure .
If software , flash your device RUU.

No idea how to do it on mac. Borrow a window machine and flash yput device specific ruu.
U can extract the rom.zip from ruu (hardly take 2-3 min) and then flash it via fastboot.(sd card method)

what is bootloader? Press power button and volume down button , after that which screen comes is that the bootloader?

today and after 2Hs of searching in web i found a chines forum that did achieved a s-off after UNLOCKING with HTC-DEV way ....
after translation with google translate i did figure it all except the last step with flashing boot.IMG >>>!!!!!!!!!!!!
i DIDN'T GET IT CLEARLY and thou i didn't unlock my phone yet i thought if some one could read it and try it to see if this really work ... other owners in this form could find out something with this.

As far as I can tell this is for the Indonesia version of One X.
Not the European Tegra 3 version.

the hboot screen says endeavoru, so it's the tegra device, has anyone been able to download the boot.rar because that's supposed to do the s-off, the other file is for unlocking, I think it at least contains a batch file and a boot.img
this was postet some time ago also in s-off thread.

It looks like it is a software to get the bootloader unlocked because the last image in the website shows that he gained unlocked bootloader and he still s-on

Okayy im new here to the one x, just got it today, but came with a custom rom and i want to go back to complete stock. Im no stranger to RUU's (had 4 EVO 3Ds) but there are so many different RUU files on the page im confused. Which one do i use for ATT One X? USA
You need evita ruu, not the endevouru ! You have a HTC one XL......

the phone is supposed to be an unlocked htc one m8 silver color. it has no carrier logo.

go to playstore and download google's official calculator or any other calculator app u like and rename it to SecCalculator2_ESS_LUPG.apk place it on the folder of calculator app
basically what u will do is make google calculator or any calculator that you downloaded ur stock calculator and will stay permanently on ur device .....

Recently updated to android 6. After the update 2 major issues i am facing
1.App settings goes to reset after phone restart. Its quite irritating as every time it restart i have to change settings again. Not checked all apps though but in whatsapp,playstore, tapatalk etc
2.Phone always turns off when it comes to 15 - 9 percentage battery level.
If anyone know a fix for this??
Edit 1: My issues has been resolved after one full reset. U guys would try.
Edit 2: Again same issues i am facing some days after full reset. So bad HTC like company pushing so buggy update. Shame.

My brother-in-law is having the same problem. I know he updated his m8 OTA.
i have almost the same problem. settings on phone restart , like ringtone , permisions , default apps , almost everything ... and i have updated goint to settings-about-software updates

Mines on MM, everything updated and set up how i want and everything works perfect, no issues, i flashed my original firmware with matching boot and recovery, rebooted, ota updated, then unlocked my bootloader, rooted and twrp, no issues with it here.

Do not always ask for a cid only, it can be changed. Model ID is very important too. Basically the output of "fastboot getvar all" will be much more informative in ALL cases.

omg I am having the same issue as you with the battery. I thought there was something wrong with my phone!
