This is my MIUIv4 port directly from Nexus S. Thanks to MIUI-Team, MIUI-Germany and miuiandroid.com for this awesome base.
I used CyanogenMod 9.0.0-RC0 BETA 1[Unofficial], thanks to jerl92, as base for my port but I need to say thanks to all the developers here that make ICS for the HTC Vision possible. Also a big thanks to ajhavery, proxuser and cjward for their guides. A special thanks to dekkyy, I learned a lot from his port. As well a big thanks to Kalashnikitty who helped me with some questions and wez89 for pointing me to the Adreno libs.
Additionally I made a few changes to the Nexus S port to make the MI button function available. The screen can now rotate to the 180° position and the duration for the notification led can be set. I also added a few tweaks. This ROM is already V6 SuperCharged, big thanks to zeppelinrox for his amazong script. The V6 SuperCharger script is also copied to the root of your sdcard so you can change settings at any time. As well you will find the "Daemon Controller" app by Sybregunne and his oc daemon ready for action (just open up and change frequencies, governor or change to sleep and wake profile). You can also use functions from the extended settings mod by Andy Thomson.
Have a look at the changelog in the 2nd post to see what changed from last version.
To improve the experience with this ROM in the future any constructive feedback is very much appriciated.

Instructions:
1. Do a full wipe (recommended but not always necessary)

Hints:
- If you have problems with the market after restoring your backup, drop your google account and add it manually
- 2 finger pinch-to-zoom at the homescreen opens the add widget view
- 3 finger pinch-to-zoom shows the preview (all homescreens)
- Go to settings -> button and set up the MI button its really useful
- Hold down the home key on lockscreen activates the torch
- You can drag down the statusbar in fullscreen apps, settings -> statusbar settings
- You can use the screenshot shortcut in the statusbar or Vol down and Menu key
- Move your icons between the homescreen easily just drag the icon, swipe left and right to change homescreen with an other finger an drop

both files come from CM9 base and I had no problems

@Cid-Vox : rmt_storage should do the job, can you be precise what steps you followed, then may be I could help you rule out all the bugs.

Oh!! You are right, I thought it's voVidDec.dat.
the only thing keeping me from trying MIUI 4 is its "Contacts" bug.
contacts saved as "0333-1234567" will not be resolved for an incoming from "+923331234567".
Has this problem been fixed ? it was a problem with MIUI base i think. I dont know if updated version has this fixed. anyone ?

The latest AJ version I tried still had this issue. Its a deal breaker for me too.

Also, this doesn't seem very smooth graphically. Are we sure the qualcomm libs are being used? It feels like MIUIv4 did before we had them. Don't get me wrong, I love this rom, but this is something I was really looking forward to.

Wi-fi settings for "static ip" do not work. I am assigning it a static ip, but when i press 'back" to save settings. And go to browse, it didnt work.
So i checked the settings again, and the IP settings that i did were not persistent.

Hello. Since I noticed our little gingerbread stock ROMs/custom based on GB don't have Reject call with SMS or to set a timer to remind us to call that person I decided to create a app to do exactly that
Instructions:
1) Install your version. PT is for Portugal, E is for English.
2) Go to app drawer and run the application. It will say "Application SGSIICall started". Now it will be in your system running as a background process.(~8mb)
3) If you want to simply stop it, go to the new configuration menu and click on the "V" arrow on the SGS2Call Status to disable it.
3.1) If you want to really close the process(and therefore wasting battery), go to Settings->Aplications->And stop it.
Auto-updater Notes:
1) Slide the finger to the right(over the arrow), it will open the button to access the autoupdater.
2) On the autoupdater you have the Magnifying glass so u check for new versions, if theres one avaiable another button will appear to download it.
3) On clicking the download button it will automaticly download the file, unless theres no internet connection. If tahts the case, a error will show.
4) After the download is done, it will prompt you if u want to install the new version.
Note: On 2G network it will take more then 30s to download. On 3G around 5-10sec and on Wifi around 1-3seconds. (My own tests). Also theres no warning the the file is downloading. If you pressed the button and no warning appears in 1-5 seconds then the file is downloading. I'll try to make smth for this in the next version.
How to use:
1) Drag your finger where the arrow is pointing(up) [The starting point is the arrow, of course].
1.1) Menu: 4 custom buttons to auto reject the call+send a sms depending what u have choosen(work, playing, eating, studying)
1.2) Timer Button(Clock Icon): Set a time that u want to call again. It will reject the call after u set the time and push the "V" button. Later it will pop up a notification depending on the time u set, and if u click the notification it will auto-recall the number u rejected.
1.3) Custom SMS Button(SMS Icon and a "+"): It allows you to set your own custom SMS.
2) When receiving a call, you can face your phone down(for 1-2 seconds), and it will auto-reject the call and send a sms saying you are busy at the moment.
3) If you want to drag back(recoil) the SMS menu(go back to the menu with the arrow) - Long press on any Menu item(working, studying, etc) and choose the "V" arrow.
4) To access the new Configuration menu, you just need to click on SGS2Call icon on the app drawer
Exceptions: Not exporting the app with exceptions anymore, since the new update (1.6) you can select to disable individual parts of the app.
Permissions:
Disable_Keyguard: To enable app when a call is received.
READ_PHONE_STATE: To know when the phone is facing down to reject the call.
Receive_BOOT_COMPLE: To start at boot.(i think)
Modify_PHONE_STATE: To add the notification to your status bar, to call the person.
SEND_SMS: To send the SMS.
WRITE_SMS: To write the SMS.
CALL_PHONE: To call the person if you click the notification.
WAKE_LOCK: To wake the phone if any action is done.

Yes, try it. Install the App, then go to App drwaned and run the App. You will get a flash message saying: "Application SGSIICall started". Then when you receive a call, the app will appear, and you have 2 buttons: Acept call and reject call. If you LONG PRESS the reject call button, you have option to send quick sms or to set a timer to end the call and remind you with a notification when taht time arrives
If you download pleas leave a reply, some people aren't saying anything
And if you can contribute with nice looking icons would be cool!

Hello. Since I noticed our little gingerbread stock ROMs/custom based on GB don't have Reject call with SMS or to set a timer to remind us to call that person I decided to create a app to do exactly that
Instructions:
1) Install
2) Go to app drawer and run the application. It will say "Application SGSIICall started". Now it will be in your system running as a background process.(~8mb)
3) If you want to stop it, go to Settings->Aplications->And stop it.
How to use:
1) Drag your finger where the arrow is pointing(up) [The starting point is the arrow, of course].
1.1) Menu: 4 custom buttons to auto reject the call+send a sms depending what u have choosen(work, playing, eating, studying)
1.2) Timer Button(Clock Icon): Set a time that u want to call again. It will reject the call after u set the time and push the "V" button. Later it will pop up a notification depending on the time u set, and if u click the notification it will auto-recall the number u rejected.
1.3) Custom SMS Button(SMS Icon and a "+"): It allows you to set your own custom SMS.
2) When receiving a call, you can face your phone down(for 1-2 seconds), and it will auto-reject the call and send a sms saying you are busy at the moment.
Exceptions: I can remove point 1) or point 2) and export as .apk if u want/don't want that specific function.
Permissions:
Disable_Keyguard: To enable app when a call is received.
READ_PHONE_STATE: To know when the phone is facing down to reject the call.
Receive_BOOT_COMPLE: To start at boot.(i think)
Modify_PHONE_STATE: To add the notification to your status bar, to call the person.
SEND_SMS: To send the SMS.
WRITE_SMS: To write the SMS.
CALL_PHONE: To call the person if you click the notification.
WAKE_LOCK: To wake the phone if any action is done.

I have no idea. I'm running StockLite 7.1 with battery extender 1.2 and it installs just fine. Also my girlfriend using it on stock 2.3.6(galaxy gio) and it's working fine aswell Maybe you don't have select install from unknow sources? Go to Settings->Applications and select "Unknown Sources".

Well I don't know how to mod them. I just use Tasker and create my own apps. You'll have to use this as it is

[ROM][MIUI10] MI ROOM ROM for Xiaomi Mi 8 and Other Device stable and developer roms
The basic list of changes to builds MIUI MiRum from official firmware. Further changes can be monitored here in the corresponding section of the MIUI Change Lists.
Mi-Room builds are based on the official Chinese versions of MIUI, on which the main Xiaomi development team is working. The Chinese versions of MIUI are updated more often than global ones, they are more thoroughly worked out and are not overloaded with unnecessary localizations, due to which a lot of critical errors can occur.
The basis of Russian localization is a translation from the MIUI Russia team, sponsored by DriffeX and Zenk.
The firmware is assembled using the jBART program using Apktool + HEX hybrid technology, thanks to which the structure of system applications is not disturbed, and the stability of the system remains at the level of the official Chinese MIUI firmware.
In the MIUI Mi-Room firmware, there is only the most necessary software, including the basic GAPPS package for the correct operation of Google services, as well as the most necessary patches and additional functions that do not affect the stability of the system at all.
In addition, all Chinese services that are not relevant for Russia are disabled.
SYSTEM
Full and high-quality translation into Russian (the translation was founded in 2011 by the MIUI Russia team: DriffeX and Zenk).
High-quality localization and refinement of the graphic resources of the system.
Disabled all irrelevant Chinese features and services.
Maximum font optimization in all system applications for better display during Russian localization.
Removed Chinese software and other garbage, which is irrelevant for Russia, and also just takes up internal and operational memory.
It uses its own correct ad blocking, which does not affect important Internet resources.
Advertising is disabled in all system applications.
Updated time zone database.
Improved definition and display of the names of Russian operators.
Updated database of automatic settings of APN access points.

I installed and it has English US and various other languages that u didn't recognise, I'd say about 8 languages in total.
