Are you returning your Note 7? If so, why? - Note 7 Questions & Answers

I am seriously considering this option due to the poor battery life and scratch issues. Anyone else on the same boat? Just curious to know what made you think about returning the device?

I am on the fence myself. The locked bootloader and an uncertain future regarding even a reliable root has me concerned. T-Mobile is slowly turning into the carrier I left (VZW) for them.

I believe I am going to be returning. I still have 9 days to be within my 14 day return period for Verizon. I am just overall not very impressed with the phone. I came from an iPhone 6s. The only things I have been enjoying more are the larger screen and the fact that it is ip68 resistant. I haven't been using the s-pen as much as I thought I would and the overall user experience for me just hasn't been as satisfying as I had hoped. I am also very, very unimpressed with battery life.
I think I'm going to return the the 6s and wait to see what Apple offers in a few weeks with the new iPhone. If not that, then I'll wait till early next year for another Samsung device possibly. Probably won't pre-order again either. Let others get their experience in and find out the faults of the phone before I go through ordering myself.

This is always the case regarding root and locked bootloaders concerning Samsung phones in recent years, my friend. I have been using this phone without a case and love the ergonomics of the phone. I use it mainly for business and an iPhone 6s Plus as my personal. The S-pen comes in handy with signing docs, smart select is useful, and note taking in general. I have not been happy with battery life compared to the Moto Z Force I put in the drawer for this. Overall I'll more than likely keep it because it suits my needs with business.

My screen has uneven backlighting and there is no other stock still for the phone. I will not keep a defective phone which is why I'm considering it, I am overall impressed with the device considering its features. It's a little slower than some other android phones I have used like the oneplus 3 and the nexus 6P. I think I would keep it otherwise.

SOT > 6h
No battery draining issues.
Phones are as snappy as it can be.
I suggest if you have lag issues, go to your friendly neighbourhood carrier outlet and have your device checked or exchanged.
I am using an international exynos FD model.

The battery life is bugging me a lot. Also, the stuttering is stupid for such an expensive phone. Lastly, it isn't enough for me to leave my iPhone. I know.. i know... the iPhone just worked. Thats it.

Anyone talking Iphone on this thread is looking for a reason to go back to that "limited" format. My device works perfect! The only battery issues i have is with my GearS2

Glass back? Broke in 16 hours. Idiotic and really, gorilla Glass? Dropped it maybe 2.25 ft. From sitting down and it shattered. Thought shattered anything was an iPhone issue. Have had nothing but Samsung since the first note. Never a case issue till 2 feet ago.
Stupid. Glass back? Who the **** cares about the back

Agreed this is the 1st note with good battery life. The device itself though is physically just too fragile. Samsung front, iPhone back. They testify it has gorilla glass in the back but .....

Literally just packed my Note 7 back into its box, and being returned later in the morning. Didn't even last me a full week unfortunately. I truly wanted to love this phone, I really did, but the amount of lag that this phone suffers from is just unacceptable for its high end price.
Having high hopes now for the LG V20, and the new Nexus...

Yes, i am holding back on the Note 7 to see what the LG brings. Looks promising so far.

HELL NO. Just got the LED case and I love it. This phone is awesome.
If only samsung would reply to my emails about the Gear Fit 2.... I submitted the redemption but no response...

Zero clue how you are getting that long of SOT. That is nuts. I decided not to return the phone anyway, but the best SOT I have seen so far is around 4 hours. Is there anything you have done specifically to increase your SOT. 9-9 hours is really a lot.

I will also hold up and now seriously thinking on keeping the S7 Edge which literally is the same phone... i too had hopes that diminished sadly. For years a fan of the Note's series..
I ve written an article about why the OnePlus 3 is the better phone to get here.. and why Samsung has let us down again.

Before any of you return your Note 7 for battery issues, please try the steps in the following link. I along with most others had these same issues with the S7E and now many of us get 2 days and 9 hours SOT with one charge.
Follow these steps and report back.

Thats a garbage post mate. A lot of users do even more than this. Even with 129 disabled apps / services I dont need, disabled GPS, all of the random sensors in settings, and SOO much more.. I should be getting more SOT than 6.5.

Any HTC 10 owner (and previous Iphone 6s plus) care to compare those phones?

Hi,
I am mostly interested in battery life and camera quality.
Thanks for any input!
Apple bad, HTC good. lol
Seriously, I have no idea. I've never had a desire to buy an Apple product. That said, it would be interesting to see how they compare.
Of course, your question is going to have a delayed response as hardly anyone has their units. HTC hasn't shipped them yet.
I'd be happy to offer my 2 cents once my 10 arrives.
I can say this though. I've owned the M7, M8, M9, Nexus 6P, etc... (you can look at my sig).
The iPhone 6 Plus and 6S Plus are the only smart phones I've ever owned to make it comfortably through a day for me. The 6P would, but I'd have to alter my usage.

Spoiler alert... anyone's answer will be bias. iPhone fan boys will think iPhone is the best and HTC fanboys will tell you HTC is best. What you will want to compare the features. I've noticed iPhone's battery life has gotten worse. Many 6 and 6S user complain to me all the time. HTC is to be judged, the reviews seem promising but I think the two of them will be similar.
As far as cameras.. there are so many reviews on this. Keep in mind the HTC was using a preproduction firmware and could get better:

Good luck deciding, if you do lean towards iPhone I would highly recommend you wait until fall for the iPhone 7.
Hi
I have iPhone 6s Plus, I had Xperia z2, Htc M7, galaxy note 3, Galaxy s2 so I know both worlds.
I am not interested in fanboy's opinions, only those that had exposure to both phones and can say which phone worked better for them, in their use case scenarios.

You are going to have to wait about a month for a good report. I sent you the links above and you can google htc 10 vs iphone 6S to find tons of reviews but until we get our phones and used it for a while we wont have a good comparison. I too have used both sides (see my signature) but a very small amount of people here have the 10 yet.
I'd rather have end user opinions on final software than prerelease versions of Htc 10 reviewed by "specialists".
I don't mind waiting for people until they receive their phones and have time to play with.
I will take care of this thread and hopefully people will start putting their opinions.
Keep in mind I don't expectant scientific data, just your comparisons basing on your usage.
Thanks!

I guess since I currently own Apple products and my battery life is phenomenal, I'm a fanboy. :silly:
That being said, the 6S Plus is the most sturdy feeling phone I've used to date. No Bendgate here.
I would also second the notion that if you are seriously considering an iPhone, wait until the 7 (if you can).

lol no I didn't say your battery life is consistent with your fanboyishness just what I have heard. The last iPhone I owned was the 6 so I cannot speak of the 6S. I didn't really have battery issues with the 6. It wasn't amazing but it got me through the day. That's all I care about really.

For me, even the 6 didn't have the stamina I needed. The 6P was the closest I've come on the Android side of the fence. I just want my phone to last through the day without me having to change my usage habits and have enough juice in case of an emergency.

I never have battery problems with my 6P. It is the smoothest and best android experience i've had. I'm excited to get the 10 and see how it compares. I'm not into phablets all that much or I'd keep it.
As I mentioned I have 6s plus, it is not a matter of choosing to buy an iPhone now or Htc 10. I have iPhone and wondering if I will sacrifice too much battery life and or camera quality.
That's it.

Yeah I get it, still have to wait to find out.
All reviews point to good battery and good camera. I'm sure it will only get better so I'd say yes. But keep in mind that everyone's usage differs. This means everyone's battery life will be different based on how they use the phone. But you get 30 days to try it out... why not get it and see how they compare side by side? You are the only one that can use the 10 how you use the iPhone to see if it is worth switching. I might get the 10 and view it one way, you might get it and view it completely differently. You can always return it if you hate it.

If the camera really is the same module as the Nexus 6P has, then honestly, it will be an upgrade for you (IMO). My 6P, in my option, took far better pictures than my 6S+ does.
Battery life will be more subjective. As I've said, my 6+/6S+ were the only phones I've owned to last me and entire day comfortably (30%+ left at 11pm or so). The Nexus 6P, with it's battery guzzling 810 chipset and 3450mah battery could last a day for me, but towards late afternoon I'd start being more conservative in my usage. I would not be able to last the day if I did any sort of gaming (Hearthstone, etc) or heavy Facebook usage.
Additionally, I apparently am a much heavier user than most.
I'm hoping that with the increased size (3000mah) and more efficient 820, that the HTC 10 will at least his Nexus 6P stamina territory.

I really don't understand how could you receive a phone for 30 days with an option to return it.
I saw comments here of people's who said almost the same as you..
When i want a new phone i have to sell mine and then buying the one i want.
It's just interesting me how's it's work in other countries.

What made you replace the Z2?
The device isn't even that old yet, and it still performs really well.
The recent Marshmallow update has done wonders for the device in both performance and battery life. I doubted it would get faster, but it has.
Just curious

Dreadful camera, I really like making photos and very bad camera, no ois, dreadful panorama etc.
The phone is still on the family, my gf uses it and loves it but there is no comparison with iPhone 6s Plus.
To be honest none of the new flagships impressed with dramatically better camera than iPhone 6s.
I will maybe hold off for new nexuses, iPhone 7 or next year

To be honest, the camera isn't the best thing ever, especially the pitiful 2mp front one (we don't speak of it )
The rear one can be good, if the phone feels like it
It really depends what you're pointing at, which isn't the hallmark of a good camera.
iPhone 6S will eat the Z2 for breakfast in the camera department, hands down.
Still a great device even today.
I'll only upgrade once phones have solar panels

Worth going from Note 4 to OnePlus 3

I have my Note 4 and I thought of selling it and getting OnePlus 3. The only concern is the battery for me as I tend to use the phone a lot for emails, music, and other things for school.
I just want to get more opinions before i make the move. Also i am trying to stay away from samsung roms eventhought i read that there are some issues with OP3 roms. Well they always have some issues with roms i guess.
It's hard to tell if the battery is good or not but so far from the reviews I've read and watched , it's average and not so great. An average battery is a deal breaker for me, some users will say it charges really fast but I'm not always next to a plug. That's the same argument made for the galaxy s6 which had a terrible battery.
i do not understand how you can even think about that, changing note4 for this upper-mid telephone... note4 is still a beast phone...
Well the battery life is a deal breaker that is the only reason why I got Note 4, and Note 4 has wayy more things inside. But just thought of changing that's why I am asking for opinions here. I just wish Samsung roms were a bit better especially those from T Mobile US.
Oh damn, I had to get rid of the Note 4. It was so so laggy and it'd heat up to 75-80C. TW was horrible on it. Unusable. Battery was terrible too.
OnePlus 3 is a much much better phone in terms of everything. I'm currently on a 6P and I'm moving to OP3.
I guess it's not worth,
Since you use the note4, I'm afraid you can not get used to the display of OP3 cuz it's 1080p

My problem with Note 4 is that I can not get a stable CM12 rom. For me they all have some small problem or something that is not working well. As for display I dont really mind. I dont think I will notice the difference after using OnePlus 3 for few days.
I had a Note 4 until I drove over it about 2 months ago, and was waiting for the OP3 until I got a new phone. So far I would say it is better for me than the note. When I bought the Note, I wanted lots of battery life, expandable storage etc. Now, I carry a power brick whenever I travel and don't need expandable storage. I like the fact that it's slightly smaller, it's also much thinner and looks better in my opinion.
The screen on the OP3 really is excellent, I can't honestly tell the difference between the OP3 and Note 4 screen, despite the difference in resolution. The OP3 is also much faster than the note 4 was out of the box.
I would say: don't upgrade if you are a heavy user and cannot charge during the day. However, if you can charge, even for a few minutes (DASH!), I would upgrade. If you have the money without selling the Note 4, you could always buy the OP3 and compare the phones, OnePlus offer 15 day returns on their phones.
I ordered the phone. I wlll get it by 30th of June. I will let you know how how i feel about the phone when i get it.
Ooo, btw thanks for convincing me spend more money ahahah
How are you satisfied with the change from Note 4 to OnePlus 3 after 2 month? Thanks!

On the Fence

Hi folks,
I am thinking about getting the Note 7 on VZW. Mainly for the camera and spen. However, due to carrier bloat, and everything else that VZW has done to this phone to screw it up. At the end of the day, is it still worth it?
Thanks!
I love mine I've disabled everything that I don't need and there is only a couple apps you can't hide or get rid of. I honestly can say that I haven't had any issues with the phone despite the recall and what not. What are you coming from?
Getting my replacement was quick and easy on one their corporate stores. Glad I waited for the new batch, as I personally feel that there is no other phone in the market that is comparable to the Samsung Galaxy Note 7. All new Note 7's are marked with a 'Black Square Symbol' on the box, and the on screen the battery indicator will be green after you run the first Security Update. :cowboy
Moto X from 2014, ugh. Only other phone I am interested in is the Pixel, mainly because it's stock Android. How is battery life on the device by the way?
I had the option to preorder the iPhone 7 or wait for the new note7's to come in when I returned my note7.
At first I caved in because I've been using Android for years and years, and I thought a change to a somewhat different, and, at times, a smoother user experience will be a good change.
However, I found that I love the camera, the display, and the Spen features too unique. Especially when I use the Spen to take notes in college! It's so useful! Plus, I love Android too much.

My battery life is great, typically I am doing a lot on my phone daily....calls, texts, emails, videos, social media, the only thing I really do not do is games. My phone tends to get me through the day and what I mean by that is I leave my house at about 7am and it doesn't see the charger till about 9pm. Sometimes I have some juice left and sometimes its almost dead. For me, it works and its great but it is of course going to vary with usage and what you have on your device. As far as the stock experience goes I have a launcher on mine and what not so I get as far from touchwiz as possible.
I'm coming from a note 3 on sprint but I was rooted running a note 5 rom. I'm really not impressed with the note 7 and the videos I took this weekend were equally unimpressive. Don't walk and record video is all I gotta say. I have lag constantly that I thought would be long gone being that it's much faster than my note 3. The Verizon signal is a million times better though and for that reason alone we will be sticking with Verizon. I ignore bloat or disable so whatevs on that. I'm contemplating the s7 edge considering the cost difference and being nearly identical. Plus with all the note taking good options out there like Google keep, I don't even use an spen hardly anymore. I can type 10 times faster than I can write plus I can actually read what I wrote

Thanks man. Truth be told, I have owned Samsung phones in the past and I am not a huge fan. Not much else on VZW that I am interested in. Curious about the Pixel in a way but, have a spare N5X when I feel the need. With the dope camera, spen, and IP68 it seems like a no brainer. Kinda wish Moto was not sold by Google to Lenovo or I would have got another Moto device.
That said, just ordered a Note 7 on VZW in black! Now, the hunt for cases begins!

Say what? The camera on the Note 7 is dope!
Just picked up two N7's last night. Immediately did a full data reset and did not restore from backups, but installed everything fresh.
Thus far, I'm thrilled with my N7 as is my wife. I've been using the phone for most of the day, tweaking things, installing apps, and playing around. I came from a Note 4 and LG G3 prior. I'm very pleased.

The pictures yes. They look amazing. And even video I've recorded by propping up and recording looks beautiful. But I recorded the Redwoods this weekend as we walked through and it looked pixilated and horrible. It's like it couldn't keep up and studdered allot.

Who is Getting the New S9 and Why?

Also, tell from which device you are upgrading or staying...?
Big news!
quote from http://bgr.com/2018/02/25/galaxy-s9-preorder-pricing-best-deals-t-mobile-vs-verizon/
"Best Buy’s preorders will open on Friday, March 2nd, and Best Buy has a big headline offer to try and entice customers. Best Buy customers save $100 when preordering on a Verizon, AT&T or Sprint plan, on top of saving up to $350 when trading in a qualified smartphone. That’s total savings of $450, although as we note below, Verizon and AT&T are charging significantly more than Samsung for the device, so assuming Best Buy is using Verizon and AT&T’s pricing, the savings compared to buying from Samsung are not as great as it might seem."
That's 390 for S9+ and 270 for S9
What!
Currently have S7 Edge and i'n thinking to get the S9+, but i'm very disappointed with the design.

I'm coming from a Oneplus 3, i really like this phone(i've tryied s8) but i'm not sure because of modding barriers like locked bootloader and knox counter
Nah!!! Sticking with the best phone...One Plus 5t....
If it doesnt come with the OEM unlock issue the note 8 has (talking about exynos, i dont waste money on crapdragon versions) i will get one.
If it does then ill pass on it like i did not on the note 8.

In all likelihood I'll be going to the S9+ from the Essential PH-1. The Essential was a terrible choice for me but I couldn't justify over $1000 for a pixel 2XL. I'll likely get the S9+ through my carrier. I've gotten quite used to stock Android over the years so a skinned version on the Galaxy will be different. We'll see....
I'll be getting the S9+ at the beginning of 2019, when the price starts to decrease a little. I'll be upgrading from my S7 Edge which just turned a year old few weeks ago.

Dont do it.
I got a S8+ last december and i regretted it. battery was the worst (3,5-4h sot max) and the software lag too annoying. samsung is good for the first 6 months, then they begin to age rapidly
everybody knows that so i had sell my s8+ for a lot less than i bought it for. got me a mate10pro, happy now.
if u want s9 so badly, try to look for second hand around 2 months after launch... i think thats the better choice if you still want to experience the high

I would have to agree on the first part, where Samsung's software does not age beautifully most of the time (my S7 edge thankfully is still running well and has maintained it's fluidity even after a year). Samsung still needs to learn to prioritise on optimisation IMHO. They focused wayy to much on the UI/UX till they forgot about the core system itself.
And yeah. I might also consider going for a second hand S9+ if the reviews don't go according to my expectations. I'll be waiting for MKBHD's (popular tech guy) review and will be watching it the moment it becomes available.

I will agree, upgrading from a s7e is useless, the only reason that can be is a little more processing power, but still it isn't enough, and s7e for me too is running smoothly although there had been issues with build quality, but i really don't think mate 10 is more in performance than s8, maybe in other areas like ui etc it could be. I will pass on s9 and wait until there is a phone with real upgrade not some marketing gimmicks.

True, the mate10pro has exceptional battery life as well as lag free UI though. Before s8 I had a huawei Nexus 6p, had great battery life too (got warranty replacement after 1.5 years with fresh battery) so the s8 kinda feld like a downgrade.
I think the CPU speed is highly overrated nowadays and does not make a real impact on everyday use. (Apples Chip ist supposedly 2x faster than 835 but does the iPhone feel 2x faster?
All in all I upgraded for the bezelless screens... Anything else my Nexus 6p was almost as good at.
Anyone else who has a 2016 flagship (s7e or mate 9 or iPhone 7) should not upgrade for another reason than the larger screens... Anything else in the new phones has only improved a little and does not justify the price in my opinion (unless having the latest tech is part of your lifestyle)

Agreed , but iphone 8 and X is almost 2x faster in real life too, so yes cpu power does impact in real life, search for their app loading times and video editing times on web, the fastest android phones were note 8 and then s8, they were lagging almost 1.5x.
And yes mate 10 got excellent battery life too thanks to its 4000 mah battery, i think every phone should have atleast 4000 mah battery these days,

Well I don't know anyone who is editing video on his phone... That's what I mean with everyday a friend friend of mine has iPhone 8 and it doesn't feel significantly faster in my opinion, it's more about ram keeping apps for running (so you don't actually need to look for launch speed) and internet speed
Yes I think the biggest Upgrade in the future needs to be bigger batteries in order to keep up with the screens and all the other new stuff

You know I have the s7 edge since release, it is still a beast. Can handle any game on the play store, lags here and there. But dont thing upgrading is worth it imo. Maybe when foldable phones come lol
Which custom rom & kernel developers will be getting the S9/S9+ ?
If not, will they be getting the Note 9 instead ?
I think i would be upgrading because this sounds like a perfect replacement for iphone-7. As for performance , I think it depends individual to individual on his config and usage patterns. There are 3 galaxy phones in my house including an aging s6 edge and all seem to be working fine.
Yes, its hard to match iphones in their speed and zero-lag but there are so many trade-offs that purchasing a iphone ahead of a s9 or a note-8 is not a worthy option.
I'm on Galaxy Note 4 and LineageOS 14.1. UHD video recording is not working and I need it. Better low light performance too on S9+. I don't like the curved glass though. I'd also much rather take a removable battery over any kind of IP rating but gotta move along with the times, I guess. I don't undertsand the all-glass exterior idea at all - it's slippery and a protective case is a must, adding to the cost.
Definitely getting an S9 as long as there's no down payment on Jump on Demand. On a v30 now, and the thing is just crap. It stutters - literally. As in the sound stutters and I have to reboot to fix it. It also has all kinds of lag on bluetooth stuff. 8 years on Android and never had anything this bad. Going back to Samsung and not looking at LG for a long time again.
I will stay on my S8 for now... S9 designed so bad... ?

I wouldn't buy a US or Canadian version, the bootloader's will be locked again...total waste of money.
Go exynos for sure, the OEM unlock issue is a helluva alot better to have than have the device be totally locked down.

Thoughts on upgrade from OP5T to OP7P

Hello my fellow geeks! I wanted to get some opinions on this subject that I'm sure has been covered 1000 times in the last few weeks but I'm curious nonetheless. Firstly, let me say that I'm a tech mark and I switch tech at least yearly if not more often including phones, tablets, wearables, etc. Currently, I own an OP5T (8/128), Galaxy Note 9 (8/512) and an iPhone XS Max 256 that I use for work. I'm definitely waiting on the new Note 10 when it drops later this summer but since the new OP7P dropped, I'm starting to get antsy after seeing the specs, features, and performance reviews of the phone online. With that said, I absolutely love my OP5T and that's the reason I've kept it so long. The speed, performance, and overall quality of the phone is almost unmatched by more current and higher priced phones on the market today. The phone is truly a flagship killer. However, I purposely missed the last several iterations of the phone because I didn't see any features that stood out enough for me to upgrade and in that time, I grabbed the Note 9 and iPhone XS Max which was even more reason to stay put. I've been enamored with the Note 9 in particular which completey took my attention away from the OP5T but with the release of the latest OP7P, my mouth began watering all over again. I for one don't mind the curved screen and the bezeless design is a thing of complete beauty. I love big screen phones so the 6.7 inch AMOLED screen is almost enough for me to upgrade on its own. Honestly I've been spoiled by the Note 9 but I paid twice over the price of the OP5T so that should be expected. The OP7P seems to be a step closer to that true flagship but with some tradeoffs of course like IP rating and wireless charging. Has anyone upgraded to the OP7P from the 5T specifically. I'd like to know your thoughts. Also, I never really entertained trade ups because usually it's a rip off but OP is offering 200 credit for the OP5T. Seems low ball but that's a nice discount off the new tech. Any opinions out there? I'd love to hear them. Happy Saturday everyone!!!

Honestly, I've been asking myself the same question.
The only answer that's come up to me is that I'd rather wait for the next iteration - the OP7P is amazing, sure , but I think Note 10 and the next OP devices will be even better.
tl;dr - wait for the next one.

I was thinking that same thing. Part of my reasoning is the trade in program as well although I may be able to sell it privately for at least 300-350 but it's such a pain having to deal with that process. I've always gotten the T version of the OnePlus so I think you may be right to hold out. T version may have wireless charging and if so I'm sold!!

go for op7p it is the phone of the year if you ask me
the only thing that is stopping me from picking it up that it is almost 850 dollars where I live, and the fact that I can get s10+ for less than that.
if the price drops a little bit and be 750 or 700 I wouldn't hesitate getting it

What do you like most about the OP7P? The screen is my biggest attraction. I'm not too concerned about the pop up camera that a lot of people are fussing about. Wireless charging is the only thing it's missing as well as an IP68 rating at least but then again that would make the phone $1000.

I'm not sure if you've kept up with the recent coverage that the OP7P is getting. That screen you adore is plagued with ghost touch issues, see here https://www.phonearena.com/news/Phantom-taps-are-annoying-OnePlus-7-Pro-users_id116304
And real-world camera performance is mediocre at best, trademark OP.
https://www.phonearena.com/news/OnePlus-7-Pro-to-receive-camera-improving-update-next-week_id116245
They've also dug themselves a grave with some false marketing of its zoom capabilities.
https://www.phonearena.com/news/OnePlus-7-Pro-does-not-offer-3x-optical-zoom_id116292
Stay away from this one. This is their first attempt at a proper flagship and it is pathetic.
Wait for the next iteration if you really want another OnePlus device. The Note 10, on the other hand, is a definite winner.
I was an op fan for the price to spec ratio but unfortunately they are going down the drain with the pricing and with software bugs+issues as mentioned in the last post.

Same here, been thinking about upgrading my 5T to the 7 but for the same price I can get a S10+
And whilst OP has a better stock android experience, for the pricetag you are paying I personally think the S10+ is worth it more then the OP7 at that point.

Okay, so the screen doesn't have an issue... it's a bug with NFC and the digitizer. And it's also easily fixable with a patch to the kernel.
The camera is actually pretty great with GCam mod. No root required like the 5T.
And I wouldn't go saying the Note 10 is a definite winner since it's not even announced yet and no specs have really been confirmed.
I just ended up returning mine. The curved screen kind of bothered me with the glare. I updated my old 5T and it is running really smooth on the latest beta.
Will wait for the next one.
After holding the 7 pro in my hand it made me love the superthin design of the 5T even more, mine is in a sandstone protective case from OnePlus and the 7 pro feels way too thick, in a case it's going to be a brick. It's a shame they made it so big.
