i did FDR too. .
and speaker phones are not working properly in calls . receiver cant get my voice properly when i m on speaker phone.
its not bricked . .
and remaining all are wrkng great . except those two issues
any solution plz

I also have the same problem. I have not done any modifications to the firmware.

Seems to me like an firmware issue. Did you tried to reflash your stock firmware?
If this dont work, could be a hardware problem.

I have a problem with my Z5P Marshmallow 6.0, when i plugin IPhone headphones it doesn't recognize it! I tried with 2-3 other headphones, but nothing! Before that i flashed RomAur 4.2.1, everything was fine, and now i use Soundabout to listen to music. Is there a solution for this? I dont want to use SoundAbout, i want just to plugin and nothing else. Please help me!:crying:
this is the problem which forced me to downgrade to lollipop ! I've tried AboutSound too however it's not working automatically you have to turn it on and off every time and thats sucks and Sony also sucks when they make a huge mistake like this after updating and not only that more then 6 months maybe more there is not even a single acknowledge

It's probably a hardware problem I have to send the Z5P back to Sony 3 times in a year due to the same problem.

Why an hardware problem? Before RomAur everything was fine! I don't want to send back my Z5P, because it has no warranty and i don't want to spend money for that. Is there any solution please? :crying::crying:

Nothing to do with you installing a new rom...it's an hardware problem, the plugged headphone recognition part of the audio jack just gives up at some point out of the blue...
There is a thread about this here on xda already...
And further more here on Sony support site as well...
The only solutions are:
1 - Use soundabout to force the sound thru the jack (as it still works, only can't recognize when headphones are plugged in)
2 - Send it for repair if you can
3 - Use some wireless headphones
Mine also failed about a month ago, solution 1 and 3 work fine for me...can't use solution 2 as the Z5p was never sold here so no warranty and couldn't find a place to have it repaired...
download soundaboat apk from google play then install it after disabling smart connect then select wired headphones from list given by this app
When i watch video or surfing internet i faced the phone freezes automatically for a second. Did you notice this type of problems?
P. S- I m an in latest version of stock rom
That problem arises when u change P2 s display from service centre have u changed ur display?
Facing same problem once i changed display from lenovo service centre. Display stops working randomly
Do this steps it may fix the problem
Turn off knock to light feature in settings-features
Switch off the phone
Charge it to full 100% without disturb then start using it it works in my case

maybe you and i arent talking about same thing !!
during my usage :
when ever i play a video ( in whatsapp status/ youtube/amazon videos ) the video used to stutter some times..
while watching videos in landscape mode, my touch wouldn't work sometimes..
This was on Stock ROM.
now talking about LAG and FREEZE of phone .. it has been happening now and then since i installed Firelords ROM (LOS and LOS based ROMS )
it happens everytime when i keep the phone under charge..
so !! is mine and yours Same brother??

When i watch YouTube videos, something video freeze for a second. Also when i use Facebook & instagram it freeze for a 5 seconds at least.
My phone is not rooted so can't told you about los 14.1 by firelord
As the title says my Lenovo P2 restarts whenever I try to call someone. Most of the times I noticed, it restarts when I used it for some time and then I go for a call, it restarts. Even after when the phone restarts I cannot able to call immediately as it will be on loop(restarts again and again) if I try. For this I need to wait for some 5min to call someone and I even did the hard reset of the phone, after this it didn't occur for few days and started again now. I don't know what's wrong with my phone and it's really annoying.
My phone is on Marshmallow with stock ROM. Have anyone here faced this issue on Lenovo P2? Please don't suggest me to update to the Nougat, I need the solution for this current version if possible. Your inputs appreciated. Thanks.

I suggest updating your phone to latest nougat build because when I was on Marshmallow version, I also experienced unexpected reboots with my P2.

Yeah most of them r recommending to do do and thanks for ur input, btw after updating to Nougat do u have any issues on ur phone?

2 days back I faced some lags when I use stock contacts app, like the contact details getting delayed to scroll up when we click on it. But its resolved without doing anything! I don't think its because of the nougat bug, I have plenty of contact permission needed apps on my P2, Am believing one of them did that lags.
Oh I forgot, After nougat update, the RAM management improved a bit.

Good to hear that, I'm hesitating to update just because the current version(Marshmallow) is giving me the best performance in terms of Battery back up( SoT of 14 to 16hrs) and in other aspects too like RAM management and all. How is the Battery management compared to Marshmallow and Nougat? I heard the Battery management was good in Marshmallow from most of the Lenovo P2 users.

Frankly speaking, I didn't check the power consumption in latest Nougat build.
Am a heavy user and daily spending 8 to 10 hours outside home and am not experiencing any serious battery drain issues till now.

I wouldn't suggest you to update to Nougat. The latest updated Nougat version has lag issues which makes playing videos or games very irritating. Also the battery backup is worse. There are no drain issues, the backup is just a little bit worse.
Change SIM-card.
My z2 plus mutes for all purposes as raise the volume above 20%. Is it a software or hardware problem

Please provide few more details like, which ROM are you using, since how long are you facing this problem, is there any audio mods installed etc.
I am on stock rom as preinstalled . Facing since 2 months . Problem seen on purchase day .
