OP3 connet to Samsung Gear S - OnePlus 3 Questions & Answers

Hi' ,
how to connect the Samsung Gear S and operate the gear manager with OP3?
Thank you.

Nope Is impossible , I have gear fit and with the app called open fit manager I can use it but works only 30% of features. Only gear s2 and gear fit 2 works with non Samsung phones

Found a way to install Android Wear on my old Gear 2. http://forum.xda-developers.com/gear-2/development/please-help-kernel-compiling-android-t2992953
Using it with non Samsung phones for quite a while now, without any problems.
Maybe there is a way to do the same for a gear fit / S. Try asking in that forum.

No Its not compatible i guess see samsung official site here http://www.samsung.com/global/microsite/gear/gearfit_features.html
Thanks! I've already checked that out. But I have seen some articles stating that Gear Fit ran on HTC ONE(M8) after installing Gear Fit Manager and Gear Fitness apps. But, on that notifications and calls do not work because HTC doesn't have Samsung Acoount services. So I suppose that notifications and calls would work on Grand Duos as it has Samsung Account Services?
So would the Gear Fit work with the Grand Duos?
Thanks!
P.S: The link where it states the Gear Fit working with a HTC ONE(M8): <They aren't letting me post the link as I am a new user. I will PM it to you>

Gear 2 or Gear 2 neo watch compatible with 5x?

I was wondering if it was possible to pair a samsung smart watch, either the gear 2 or gear 2 neo, with the nexus 5x? I did some research and came upon topics such as "connect gear 2 to any android phone", but this was only for phones running lollipop. I tried it, never the less, and it did not work on marshmallow. I would appreciate any help. I'm hoping I don't have to root my phone.

Is the Galaxy S9 fully compatible with last year's Gear VR SM-R324?

Hi,
I try to figure out if last year's Gear VR is fully compatible with my new Galaxy S9 and get conflicting information on this topic. Some sites say that the Gear VR for Galaxy S8 (SM-R324) will work with the Galaxy S9, e.g. on Android Central:
"First, you can tell just by the look of the device. If the headset is black and comes with the motion controller, then it works with the Galaxy S8 and therefore will also work with the Galaxy S9. Second, you can check your headset's compatibility using your Gear VR's model number. You can follow our how-to guide to find your model number. If your device's model number is SM-R325 or SM-R324 then your Gear VR will work with the Galaxy S9."

However, there is an article on cnet.com that says:
"Samsung's newest phones, the Galaxy S9 and S9 Plus, didn't debut with any new VR hardware. They do work with the Gear VR. However, they only work with the Note 8 model released in September last year, not the nearly identical Galaxy S8 version that debuted in March that same year. We confirmed this with Samsung. The issue is all about the fit.
Apparently, the design of the S9 is different enough that attempting to put it into an earlier S8-compatible Gear VR, released in early 2017, could damage it. Samsung advises using the Note 8 Gear VR, released in September 2017, for the best fit."

Has anyone tried putting a Galaxy S9 into a SM-R324 headset? I'm asking because the SM-R324 is more favorable than the latest model (SM-R325), but I don't want to damage my phone in the process.
Thanks for your help!
STOP! All you need is one of these!
Genuine Samsung Gear VR4 2017 SM-R325 Type-C Adapter/Connector - GH98-42239A
https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B07C59BRLQ/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_zogbBb3MCJ5JM
A lot cheaper than a whole new headset! You will need a stanley knife or craft knife to shave a small bit of plastic from the adapter but this is easily done and will be apparent when you compare the old and new adapters side by side.
I had the same question just a few days ago searched on the internet for it but couldn't find anything about it apart from a tweet from samsung australia which confirmed that sm-r324 should work just fine. So i bought it anyway since it was only 30 euro's for me. That article of Cnet also made me hesitate buying the r324 variant but I've tried it and can confirm that it works just fine. It fits perfectly and does definitly not damage the device. So yes you can buy the r324 variant no need for the r325 version. At least for the normal s9 (not sure about the s9+ but doubt it's any different)
I have a sm-r324 that worked with samsung galaxy s9+ until I upgraded to android 10.
Now, when I plug in the phone Oculus does not start and all that I can see (if I open the app manually) is the picture in which there is the indication to insert the gear vr (but nothing happened).
I have uninstalled all oculus app and service and inserted again the phone into gear, then I heard the sound e installed again all the app suggested (default procedure).
Do you know if there is some trick to make reworking the gear vr or is it better to install again android 9?
Thanks

Samsung Galaxy S20+ and Galaxy Watch 46 mm + My BP Lab

Hi
I just bought the new S20+ with the galaxy watch 46 mm
I installed the My BP Lab on it, but it says ERROR "Samsung S10 don't see a active Watch synced to this phone".
The watch is connected with bluetooth to my S20+ normally.
Does it not work, or does it need any update that i don't know about?
I wanted to measure the Blood Pressure with this watch.
Thanks for any answer.
Sorry to disappoint you, but you can't measure BP with the GW46mm. That's probably why your watch is not seen by BP Lab.
Are you sure about that? Because the watch has the sensors for the mesuremamt.

Which watches are eligible to use My BP Lab?
Currently, the My BP Lab app works on the Samsung Galaxy Watch Active and Samsung Galaxy Watch Active 2.
