Multiple issues with Canvas A1 (AQ4501) (Urgent) - Micromax Canvas A1

Hi,
As per the links
https://twrp.me/devices/androidone.html; and
https://download.cyanogenmod.org/?device=sprout4;
TWRP 2.8.4 and cm-13.0-20160418-SNAPSHOT-ZNH0EAO2NL-sprout4 are compatible for Canvas A1 (AQ4501).
And I downloaded both and put them in C:\Users\Admin\AppData\Local\Android\sdk\platform-tools>
Then I started and I am getting following issues;
C:\Users\Admin\AppData\Local\Android\sdk\platform-tools>
C:\Users\Admin\AppData\Local\Android\sdk\platform-tools>adb reboot bootloader
* daemon not running. starting it now on port 5037 *
* daemon started successfully *

I run these commands also:
fastboot flash –S 256M system twrp-2.8.4.0-m8.img and
fastboot -w
After this, whenever I turn on my mobile, I see Micromax Logo with OEM unlocked. And its stuck on the same screen.
If I turn on mobile by Power+Vol.Up, I see black screen with following options ..
Select Boot Mode:
[volume_up to select. Volume_down is ok.]
[Recovery Mode]
[Fastboot Mode]
[Normal Boot]
[Normal Boot +ftrace]
[Normal slub debug off]
If I select Normal Mode, it says, OEM unlocked with Micromax Logo and no further changes.
If I select Recovery Mode, it shows.. http://bit.do/anderror
I tried to flash Stock ROM. And I followed the steps of links:
http://firmwarefile.com/micromax-aq4501
https://androidmtk.com/flash-stock-rom-using-smart-phone-flash-tool
According to the steps mentioned in the link, when I click on download, No changes on the ‘Smart Phone Flash Tool’. It just says, Searching and no further changes.
I believe, I can use fastboot commands only. And not able to use any adb commands. In such case which fastboot command can fix it?
Please help me to resolve this issue.
Regards
Ugn10

Check the drivers it may not installed properly and if your phone is booting up then just use the Android one toolkit and flash custom recovery than flash the stock ROM through it

Problem starting TWRP recovery

Hi,
i unlocked my bootloader using the original LG tool (unlock.bin).
fastboot getvar unlocked:
[[email protected] Desktop]# fastboot getvar unlocked
unlocked: yes
finished. total time: 0.004s
[[email protected] Desktop]#
Then i booted into bootloader using adb reboot bootloader.
fastboot flash recovery twrp-2.8.6.1-h815.img
gave me no error.
[[email protected] Desktop]# fastboot flash recovery twrp-2.8.6.1-h815.img
target reported max download size of 536870912 bytes
sending 'recovery' (32060 KB)...
OKAY [ 1.022s]
writing 'recovery'...
OKAY [ 0.287s]
finished. total time: 1.309s
[[email protected] Desktop]#
Now when i restart the phone using adb reboot recovery i get the "dead android" logo. No key combination works.
When booting using the Power+Vol-Down, the phone enters the reset menu. I select twice "YES", but TWRP is not started, and the phone is empty
Any idea?
Thanks
i went through the exact scenario, and found the solution myself, you're typing the wrong command, take the battery out, plug your phone into bootloader/fastboot mode or do it via adb
adb reboot bootloader
then flash the recovery again just to be safe
then either type fastboot boot twrp-2.8.6.1-h815.img
or adb boot twrp-2.8.6.1-h815.img

Cannot flash recovery

OK I have a problem. Till now:
1. Installed drivers
2. Bootloader unlocked
3. ADB enabled. PC authorised.
4. OEM unlocking permitted confirmed.
5. Command fastboot devices shows phone connected in fastboot mode.
EDIT: Solved. Experimented with different drivers on different laptop.
Now trying to send official twrp with command fastboot flash recovery recovery.img and I get error:
sending 'recovery' (18680 KB)...
FAILED (command write failed (No such device or address))
finished. total time: 0.004s
Can't seem to get a solution to this
Any help?

What is (where to find) correct image to repair Asus ZE500KL (using fastboot-techniq)

What is (where to find) correct image to repair Asus ZE500KL (using fastboot-technique)?
Phone is Asus Zenfone2 ZE500KL.
Some-how I’ve bricked it. (formated /system partition )
I can boot to fastboot and I can > fastboot boot twrp-3.0.2-0-Z00E-LL.img <for example>
but not to
>fastboot boot twrp-3.0.2-0-Z00E-MM.img
downloading 'boot.img'... OKAY [ 0.578s]
booting... FAILED (remote: dtb not found)
- - - ? what is the probleem? ---
But I can boot to TWRP-3.0.2.0 for LL
>fastboot boot twrp-3.0.2-0-Z00E-LL.img
downloading 'boot.img'... OKAY [ 0.849s]
booting... OKAY [ 0.181s]
finished. total time: 1.037s
and I have acces to sd-card and internal volume (which is empty ) – that’s OK.
But I can't install UL-ASUS_Z00E-WW-13.10.10.44-user.zip or UL-ASUS_Z00E-WW-12.8.5.222-user.zip or any other
not by fastboot, not by recovery-install. (anwer is so fast I can't read it -> and -> reboot to recovery)
>fastboot flash recovery stock-recovery-LL.222.img
>fastboot flash recovery stock-recovery-MM.16.img
>fastboot recovery stock-recovery-LL.222.img
>fastboot recovery stock-recovery-MM.16.img
Are leading to infinit loop to try reinstall some rom.
- error - so fast I can't rerad it ...
>adb sideload UL-ASUS_Z00E-WW-13.10.10.44-user.zip
loading: 'UL-ASUS_Z00E-WW-13.10.10.44-user.zip'
error: device not found
What I miss, where I make a mistake?
Where to get image, to recover /system partition.
(some-how I've formated that)

Unable to change recovery

Hi All.
Just bought a Wileyfox Swift. I'd like to install Lineage OS.
Reboot into bootloader, fastboot sees correctly my phone.
I run "fastboot oem unlock-go", my data gets wiped, then "fastboot reboot" and Android starts optimizing apps. Fine.
I go back into bootloader, now I try to flash TWRP:
Code:
# fastboot flash recovery twrp-3.0.3-0-crackling.img
target reported max download size of 268435456 bytes
sending 'recovery' (16908 KB)...
OKAY [ 0.532s]
writing 'recovery'...
OKAY [ 0.284s]
finished. total time: 0.816s
I reboot, Android starts correctly, power off. Go back into recovery but I still have the original Cyanogen recovery, no TWRP. What I'm doing wrong?
Thanks in advance for any hint!
If you are on the fastboot screen after flashing you should just select recovery and go there
There's no selection menu in fastboot mode on this phone. To go back into recovery I have to power off the device and power on again with volume-down + power button; but the recovery I got into isn't the TWRP I flashed but still the original cyanogenos recovery.
Pull battery after flashing recovery via fastboot. Then boot straight into recovery (not fastboot, not normal ROM), TWRP should be there.
