HTC E9 Firmware Update - One (E9+) General

I bought an HTC E9 from Ebay. The phone came with Android 5 installed and no software update option in my settings. Would anyone help me flash the correct files to update my phone to Android 6? Attached are my current phone status ..
Thanks in advance.

Do you fix that ? I have same problem

Same here.
Your phones FW have been "upgraded" by someone, normally an "upgrade" that can be removed with an ota update.... so the updates are disabled.
.... note the irony, this upgrade implies from unsupported language to lots of spyware.
In order to solve this you have to install new and official firmware.

Does anyone have rom 6.x or high for HTC E9 dual? Share for me, please. Thank's

There is no Android 6 Marshmallow update available for HTC E9+. It was promised by HTC but it never happened. I don't believe it will ever come out. And with no source for MM there won't be any custom roms aswell. Only AOSP is possible, but no dev is interested in working with E9+. Xposed is the only option for customizations for now.

So sad that HTC screwed their customers with this phone :/
With Marshmallow on it, it would most likely be a lot faster.

It really sucks that there are no custom rom nor any software update for e9+.. Such waste of money. Not buying any other HTC product.

Latest Rom 550ML

i heard that latest rom for 550ML got too many bugs. (2.19.40)
and a few days later, ASUS release a new rom with a bugfix. (2.19.40.13)
so i want to ask if the latest rom is stable enough? or still got a major bug on it?
do you prefer upgrade to the latest rom or downgrade to the previous version?
upgrade to 2.19
downgrade to 2.17
which one is more stable?
anyone?

upgrade it might not cause a trouble to your device as many are saying mainly US users that the phone is now more smooth and giving better SOT but as an indian user i didn't feel this change rather a deproving one so it depends on u and if u don't want to update then wait for the 5.1 1 release which is on 15-17
wow great. i think i'll wait for 5.1.1 instead flashing the 2.19 version. yeayyyy we will get new lollipop update! but where did you get this information?

just check by searching "5.1 lollipop asus zenfone 2"
I haven't seen any issues with 2.19.40.13. So I'm wondering where these bug stories are coming from.

Android 7.0 Nougat on the One M8?

I'm wondering if there will be development of the new Android version on the One M8. I don't think HTC will update it anymore, but will some of you do?

Hopefully there are some devs left to port some cm14 goodness
Keep an eye here http://www.github.com/CyanogenMod . I remember official M source came out sometime between 5-10 Octobeer and we had M8 pre-alpha builds later that month, but since M8 is EOL since March, things will not be the same. So i have 0 ideas about eta.
this is the m8s section, you have your own section so stick to it

What Android Version is my M9?

Ok, Ok.....don't all start shouting.
I'm in the UK...
According to HTC I'm on Lollipop waiting for a Marshmallow update!!!!
See here - scroll to bottom of page :
http://www.htc.com/uk/go/htc-software-updates/#device-content
Yet according to my phone I'm 7.0 which is Nougat.
My question really is how can HTC be so out of date on their site?
And lastly when are we getting Oreo seeing as HTC thinks we are waiting for Marshmallow...
All M9 versions have Nougat 7.0 update.
We won't receive official Oreo update.

Is there any way to have Treble on the HTC One M8 ?

I'm actually using an HTC One M8 with Android 8.1 Oreo thanks to CrDroid ROM and the project Treble is not enabled on it, whereas all phones with Android 8.1 preinstalled support Treble.
So my question is :
Is there any way to have Treble on the HTC One M8 (a special TWRP version, a ROM compatible with TWRP...) ?
This is my first thread, plz be nice

No
And it really wouldn't matter anyway if there was a way to do it. Project Treble is for streamlining OS updates so that OEMs can get them out faster, and the M8 won't be seeing any more updates.
If you wan't to learn more about what Treble really is, you can read about it in this article

Htc one m9 android 6 to 9

Hey guys, I bought a HTC One M9 with Android 6 and it and it doesn't show option of UPDATES . I was thinking to root it and install Android 10 in it.
So can someone guide me the process and confirm whether Android 6 installed instead of 7 won't be a issue.
Thanks
