Custom Lock-screen

I have managed to customize my lock screen using a transparent wallpaper.

But as you see I had to hide icons and home page clock widget using two images and only middle of the screen is now transparent bcz I dont like to see those icons on my transparent lock screen.
Any one know a way to hide those icons and the clock while the lock screen is active? I dont want to use any 3rd party app to do this. I want to do this by modifying system files like I did with the transparent wallpaper.
Or is it possible to add a live wallpaper as the lock screen wallpaper?
BTW if anyone interested I attached the flashable zip file of the modified lock screen I made.:goodThis replaces framework-res.apk) Use CWM to flash.

I also found a way to hide lockscreen clock. But I cant hide the date under the clock. If anyone know a solution pls reply. I only need to know where the system files containing date settings located.:good:

Bcz the zip file replaces system default wallpaper and ur system must be set to use default lock screen. By deleting custom wallpaper u can activate ur system default.

I did this using an earlier version. Now it stores current wallpaper in a different place.

I used a software called GIMP
File--->New-->Advanced Options-->Select Transparency from fill with drop-down list.

installing gimp now, i tried it in photoshop, but that wouldn't work, maybe it will in gimp

won't work, i can save as jpg, but transparency is lost, did you convert the png to jpg or something?

by the way, jpg doesn't support transparency, but i downloaded your the image in the first post, a jpg image, and it has transparency. how did you do this? when saving a transparent jpg in either photoshop or gimp, it looses transparency.

Save your image as a png then change the extension 'png' to 'jpg' .

Hi all, I just want to resize the display size of my uploaded images in xda, what is the BB code? I googled and tried several, but none work.

None of those works (anymore?), so best is to resize, or add pictures as attachments. However for the signature, no options except resizing.

True, really people should be hosting their own images anyways instead of leeching off someone else's. There are many free services to host pictures and stuff instead of just copying the link and using it.

Sorry to revive the thread, but I was recently looking for how to resize the image inline with a post. Then I saw this post...
There are many free services to host pictures you own but taking someone else's image and rehosting it on your own account is infringement which is why "leeching" (which is actually called hotlinking and ironically less of a theft) is preferred.
Is there a current way to resize images through tags, code, magic for those of us who do not desire to violate copyrights?
Edit: I started using the hide tag when pictures were too big. It's not ideal, but it solves others being irritated by a large image.

Yeah -.- they do not Work anymore....
and here i looked forward to upload .svg images, and then resize them small enough. for a nice display -.-
don't really feel like creating small thumbnails and upload big pictures and link them.

Is it possible to link images pixel exact (1:1)? Whenever i post a picture with IMG tags its resized/enlarged by the forum. A fullhd screenshot is way larger on the screen of a fullhd display.

This is a recurring bug here on XDA right now, and there is currently no way around it (except for just posting a URL that takes you to the image). The XDA devs are working on it.

Embedding bitmaps into svg seems to work (thx Haldi4803). Not sure if this canvas size of 300x150 can be fixed though.

Edit: No, forget it. Doesn't work either. On my phone with CM11 browser its still scaled to "web size".
Its not a bug though. For most pics, avatars and such this is needed and mandatory for high ppi devices but for some cases an exception would be nice. Something like an [img2] tag or something.

Sorry if this is posted elsewhere, but I'm looking to do this, and all of my attempts aren't working. Is there a way to do this?

I just recently fell victim to this as well. Wish there was an easy way to Resize Images (possibly by percent)

I do not want to promote a particular website, but i found one for myself to host my images.
You can navigate to cloudinary where you will get option to upload images using image link. upload it there so there's no need to download on your device and then you also can use simple codes to resize to whatever resolution you want to. For that I can help you later on, if you would like to try it out. Its pretty easy. you can even do that without my help i know.
But, if you need my help, you'll get my support.

Hey m8 I'm trynna resize some images and I don't see an option to save the resized images so I can get a link or download or something.
I think it's easier to use pxlr online editor and download the result after resizing with ctrl+t.

Hey thanks for this mod, I installed it on the new insert coin sense6 Rom and I could see the icons on the statusbar(they looked real nice) but when I unlocked the lockscreen I got the "unfortunately sense has stopped working message constantly whereI could do nothing, will an update make it work with this Rom?

Working perfectly in ARHD 53.0 !!!

I missed this since my Evo died! Great job Jimmy!

Its not compatible with Sense 6 roms till now. It may work on other sense 5.5 roms.

I am working on next version + making it compatible with Sense 6 roms. Signal Roaming icons, 3g icons, battery icons, etc will be changed in next version..

Anyone tested it in Sense 6 ?

[Q] Current G3 Owners: Can you install HTC Blinkfeed?

I am an HTC user normally, but HTC has alienated my completely with their "Ultrapixel" low res camera sensors.
The LG G3 looks like the phone I want to buy, but I was wondering if you are able to install the HTC Blinkfeed launcher from the Play Store:

Yeah you can install it from XDA but the DPI is messed up, your widgets will be misaligned. You then need to root your phone, install the Exposed framework and the "app settings" module. Then you need to tinker with the DPI until the widgets align.

This was the only thing I missed about the HTC, now I have best of all worlds.
Ok installed this and got it working
To get it to work - download the Zip file first, install all the items there, then download the Color3 prism with the DPI fix and install that.

Nah, I'm using Nova Prime and I set up a Nova Shortcut to point to Blinkfeed
That way I don't have to worry about it being in the way and can go to it when I feel like it

What is about installing if I am on Emui 3.0?
P.S. Don't know why but the Gallery, Launcher, Calendar do not install. And the Home 4.0 came back to 3.0 after rebooting.

Yes sure, try it one by one, but remember to backup the apps first, which you wanna remove or change,

Errors
Whn I m try to install theme manager its not installing its not one notepad,gallery,messaging... are also pls say why and what can I do and how install bcoz I luv p9 theme manager app and u have contacts and phone apk of p9 have so upload it
