If I downgradee my note 5 from 6.0.1 to 5.1.1 by dowmloading system software online makes my phone rooted ? Or turn my device status into unofficial ?
I'm mot happy with 6.0.1 and want to downgrade but dont want to root my phone and change it's official status.

I'm going to be flashing a 4.4.2 KK ROM and need to update my bootloader. The link below will update your phone to stock KK and uses ODIN to do so.

Hi guys , I have a bell galaxy note 2 (i317m) which I upgraded to cm12 (5.1.1) nightlies cyannogenmod using latest TWRP recovery .
This is the story after I upgraded to cm12 5.1.1 my model number now says gt-n7105 . I ve lost functionality of the s pen and want to go back to kitkat, everything else works
I played around with lollipop for a few weeks but there are a few things about it that irk me , so I want to downgrade back to kikkat .
My main question is can I downgrade using a stock bell kitkat rom , using odin or will that brick my phone ?
My build number is 51.1 LMVF7V if that is important .
I don t know if my bootloader is locked but , I guess not because i did put cm12 on it , and if it was locked it would have bricked.
If you need more information , i will find it.....thanks for any help in advance.....

Hello I am new here to the community. And I would like to get help on updating my Samsung Galaxy S5 from 4.4.4 to 5.0 no root. I can't find anything on the internet 2 give me like that information to update. Or can I just go from 4.4 to 6.0 or 1 without steps
Alright, I am new to XDA but I am not new to hacking/rooting etc. That's just to clarify.
Long story short, I dislike Android marshmallow and I want to return back to my beloved 5.1.1 lollipop, I have the T-Mobile variant (SM-G925T) Updated to 6.0.1 and I rooted via CF-Auto Root and installed a Custom Rom thats 63% Stock. Anyways like I said i dislike this version and I want back 5.1.1 any tips on how or if I even can?

Why don't you update before rooting?
The marshmallow update itself come long ago.
