I do not see any progress or any news about it.
Unfortunately I can not contribute anything on this subject, only tester.

I don't understand your question.
I'm on MM and rooted.
I suggest you do not talk about root but about unlocking instead? If so what device model?
.

LG H815P Question

Hi,
I have the LG H815P variant, this is my first android phone, and would love to know how/where to check if it has received 6.0. Is there a specific website? Can I force the update somehow?
Thank you
If you want the easy way check on Lg bridge for your phone software.

Does it depend on where I am located, what country I mean and not the variant model?

Sorry for my questions but what are the downsides and is there a guide/link to a tutorial or something?
You can install the INT h815 MM but you will have no root as there's no unlocked bootloader for that model

Possible One Click Root ZF2 Marshmallow?

This is from the ASUS forum. Sadly it will only work with Linux. So I'm wondering if there's anyone here who can pick at this and see if something can be created for Windows as I cannot for the life of me get Ubuntu or any other Linux system to install on Win 10
http://www.asus.com/zentalk/thread-76656-1-1.html
As it says on the page, it is for 2.20.40.184, so that is for the last update of lollipop.

So... it works on Lollipop?
I'm with Lollipop '.184' version.
I would be able to uptade by OTA like I'm never rooted just removing the root with SuperSu?
So many questions haha. I was used to do this in Motorola devices - it was so easy - and now i'm feelig as a newbie again!

V20i version ..927 ( 27/9 -16 ) was released in Sweden / Italy , and if you did not upgrade/flashed the firmware yourself You probably have the H815 EUR version and then you will be able to unlock your bootloader like all European versions of the H815 can :good:
if you can unlock your bootloader or not is not based on the firmware, for now it is only the H815eur versions LG choosed to allow to unlock BL..... (and maybe the SEA version to or ?, I dont quite remember right now)
Just check out the official LG site for BL unlocking procedures
Link to the Xda page of "your" firmware release :
