1 x Matte Back Black TPU Case & Screen Protector for Galaxy Nexus = $9.90
FREE SHIPPING! (Free Shipping Only): $0.00
Discount Coupon: XDA : -$0.99
Total: $8.91
Wish I saw this first. Paid a lot to order the " SGP Steinheil Ultra Oleophobic"
Good case ?
I have this case. Definitely the best of the tpu type cases and the price is excellent. I have the matte back black but i also ordered the matte back smoke color. I also have the casemate toughcase and i am starting to really dislike it because of the silicone attracting dust and stretching. TPU cases will not have this problem and this one doesnt interfere with the phone at all.
Since u have both, which colour do u think looks best in person? I'm going to order one of these.

Diztronic Matte Back Black Flexible Revision 3 OR EMPIRE Dual Armor Soft&Hard Case ?

Diztronic Matte Back Black Flexible Revision 3 OR EMPIRE Dual Armor Soft&Hard Case ?
hey guys, need help
which should i buy Diztronic Matte Back Black Flexible Revision 3
or EMPIRE Dual Armor Soft&Hard Case Cover?
or any other which you have/prefer.
Looking for a cover for my nexus
sugestions needed. Thanks
Diztronic is ****. I bought one and within a week it was so loose that it kept peeling off the GNex.
I love my Diztronic!
I happen to have the Matte Black. Port cutouts are precise. It's thin and doesn't add any bulk. It's TPU, so it's nice and rigid vs. rubber/silicone.
I would get another one in a heartbeat.
It has never ever slipped off my Nexus (Verizon i-515). It doesn't feel loose to me unlike the SGP Neo Hybrid I had. The backing become really loose on that one.
I have not used the screen protector that comes with it. It seems to have a slight blue tint and I like my protectors clear.
I am not familiar with the Empire case.
I have that exact same Diztronic case from your amazon link. I love it, and even though supporting the Verizon GNEX, it still fit on my GSM Gnex very good and it feels nice. The Part nearest to the screen is different from the back, made of a material that is used a lot in shoes, I don't know the name of material though.
Thanks guys for suggestions
Diztronic Matte does not ships to Singapore ;(

10 Silicone cases for $15 Win!

I just grabbed this lot. http://www.amazon.com/Friendly-Swed...=1-2&keywords=samsung+galaxy+s3+silicone+case I am currently using an XO Skin case fit screen protector and a carbon fiber back but I am terrified I will drop this phone. I already have a few dents on the bezel. Thought I would share this find.

What skins do you wear?

Putting this thread together to see what different skins are out and to see what they look like in real life. Also in case people fancy a change like I will soon.
Here's mine just standard black carbon effect. (Cheap from ebay just under £5). My screen protector is getting scratched so thinking on changing skin along with the protector.
What are people wearing? (Lol)
Nice one
My banged-up-after-a-year Nexus 5 (called Daniel 5) wears no screen protector or skin. He has a cheap S-line transparent TPU case with a Chevy logo sticker over the "Nexus" lettering.

Dbrand Wood skin

Just though I'd share a pic of this beautiful skin. It has the most precise cuts of any skin I've owned. It's also very high quality. A lot of people have thought it was real wood! @Zephyr!
Link: https://dbrand.com/shop/oneplus-one
Edit: they now also offer custom logo inserts !
Amazing...! Gonna buy this..

It's worth every penny. Just don't forget to heat up the edges when applying.
What material is that , any link maybe ? Thanks!
The material is 3M vinyl and I'll add the link to OP.
I regret taking my one off, the bright red one I swapped it with it nice, but the wood is much better
I have that one, and the "Tiger Stripe" also..all "wood like" skins that dbrand offers, BUT..I prefer "Sticker Boy" skins, MANY more "wood like" skins, 15 total, I own eight of the Sticker Boy wood like skins and will add more to my collection soon..
Here is a link to a few of my cases with Sticker Boy skins..and the shipping is 2x faster the dbrand..
Here >> http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=60545497
Also see OP in the same thread..I have all my skins on a clear and gray slip on case, the skin will NOT stick well to the grippy, textured back shell, I use slip on (hard) gray and clear cases, apply the skin to the case, and can change phone theme daily..

Do the skins work well on the Sandstone back?
I have seen warnings from some skin vendors advising against use on the sandstone black cover.

I haven't personally had any trouble with mine sticking. But apparently other's have.
Yeah..Seems where alot are having trouble is when the devices is inserted in the pocket, and the skin collects dust, pocket lint and so on..I personally have never tried any skin placed on the factory back SandStone shell (the textured), I did install a skin onto the factory shell, but it seemed to me, not to be something longterm without a clear case over it, would peel off very easily, but I have not tested extensively the stickability of any skin, longterm on the SandStone textured shell..

I could see how that would be a problem over time. I have a gold aluminum bumper case on the way and once that gets here it'll cover the edges of the device and skin. Hopefully that'll help keep it on.

Yeh..great idea..I have a gold, and a black billet aluminum as you mentioned..One could also use a clear/transparent case, I have a few different models and works well, and protects, holds in place the skin..
Enjoy your 1+1 and skin..

I've had D-Brand Skin directly on the factory sandstone since December. Have slipped on and off various cases over the skin. For the last month, I've been using it without any case and carry it around in my front pocket and the edges are fine. No lift or dust. I suspect that it will last until I ever decide to peel it off. In fact I did have the small part around the camera lens covered with the skin as well and when I decided to remove it, it was quite difficult to get under the edge to remove that piece.
Thanks for the heads up, very intriguing indeed. Now I feel like picking up a carbon fiber white back with carbon fiber red logo for my silk white OPO. The prices are pretty reasonable too!

As far as the price/quality ratio goes dbrand is as good as it gets.

For the most part, your statement is true, but as an owner of many dbrand (8 or more) skins, and particularly the "wood like" skins, dbrand offers two options for the 1+1, and as an owner of (6 or more) StickerBoy skins, which offer 15 "wood like" skins, many more options and the quality/fit is just as good (or better) than dbrand, ALSO..shipping here in the U.S. is MUCH faster with StickerBoy..I also have a few Slick Wraps, but with my past Moto devices, particularly the 2014 Moto X, Second Edition, Slick Wrap skins where 99% of the time, to large overall, overlapping the frame of the device..
My point of view and opinion is, Sticker Boy has my overall vote, because I own many of each manufacturer..and can give an honest viewpoint..

I've got the carbon fibre one, with the camera and logo. What happened to my OPO is that the sandstone back started to wear off over time, so before I stuck my carbon skin on (also from Dbrand) I really wiped it and rubbed it so that it would come off as much as possible. After applying it, I heated the edges and did everything as shown on the official video and have fallen in love with it. It looks and feels fantastic! I've had it for over two months, no issues at all. It's literally become part of the phone, it doesn't feel cheap or feel like it's ever going to come off on its own.
Looks much better in real life, compared to the pictures.
