Error shown while forwarding call - Galaxy Tab S Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hello,
i enabled forward call on my tab s , it shows network error and signal wont show and sometimes it will show network with forwarding call notification on the pull down notification bar for a second or two and again shows network error with no signal.
The sim is working fine on my other devices , so its an issue with the tab
any way to solve this issue? i dont mind not having forward option but i want to revert it back to the normal call setting.

Voicemail notification not the same as my old Nokia phone ??

Have only had my Xda11s for a week and am very pleased with it except for voicemail notification.
I like to get straight back to customers who leave voicemails, but unlike my old Nokia phone which used to leave both a text message AND phone me back several times, my Xda11s has only been leaving text messages which if I am driving, I do not always notice.
I have been into the 901 options and selected "Voice notification" now I get nothing back at all to tell me somebody has left a message (tried it by leaving a message myself).
Any one have any bright ideas why this is or how I can get both a text message and a phone call back from 901 please?
Sorry to answer myself, but having left a second messgae to myself, voicemail did phone back so perhaps it takes 5 or 10 minutes to activate itself.
No text message though, so I presume you can only have one or the other with O2 on Xda's?
Does anybody know if you can have both?
I'm no expert as I don't use voice-mail, but such features are network dependant. In other words, it's the network (O2 or whoever) that calls you back or sends a text, not the phone. The phone merely allows you to change the settings without calling your network provider. If it isn't allowing you to set it up as you wish, you have two options.
One, read your network guide where there will be a list of commands you can use via your phone to change settings (often in the form *# Number number #) or
Two, phone your network provider and ask someone to set up your account to do this for you.

No incoming call notifications

My phone will switch itself off when in standby mode from time to time and it's a pain in the neck. I don't know if that's related to the main issue.
I can't receive incoming calls for periods of time, but I can still receive voicemail alerts. Yesterday, I was just picking up voicemail after voicemail. On top of this, intermittantly I won't get an incoming phone call notification, just the missed call icon afterwards.
I'm currently running Black 2.0 with Radio 1.38.00.10. Anyone got any ideas?
I suspect your phone is going into HSDPA mode and the network is not letting calls through during that time. I had the same problem on my non-operator bought phone with my provider 3-Sweden until I installed their extended ROM. If your operator hasn't offered a solution, you could try getting HTweakC and turning HSDPA off (this still allows regular 3G connections, which do allow incoming calls regardless).
I have a similar problem...
except mine has gone into this mode of operation permanently.
I'm running Black Satin & a radio ver 1.48 When I receive a call, the signal strength icon drops out & goes searching meanwhile the call is diverted to message box. My outgoing calls work fine as does both out & incoming SMS messages. I've tried changing swapping my sim card but it still does it with the different Sim. I've tried reflashing the roms & hard booting but the problem persists. I don't know whether this is a hardware issue or whether the firmware isn't working correctly with my operator vodafone NZ

[Q] Call Forwarding in Notification Bar

Got my wife a DHD for christmas.....converted her from the dark side a.k.a. the iphone
She loves the phone, can't get over how much better (or unrestricted as she's been saying) it is, but she's giving me awful grief over the icon she can't get rid of.
Since changing over to it there is always the call forwarding icon in the notification bar? She is receiving calls without any problems so they're not being forwarded and when I check the settings for call forwarding the numbers are correct and call forwarding for all calls is disabled.
I've compared it to my regular desire and all settings are the same
Anyone?
I had the same thing on mine for the first few days then it disappeared. That's with Orange UK.

I have 2 problems since i installed the new android 6.0 on LG G3.

First problem. Since i installed the new android 6.0, if i select in the menu to use the 2g/3g/4g the phone randomly loses signal and sometimes i get this message "restricted access changed. voice service is blocked". Now i use 2g/3g setting from the network menu and it looks like it doesnt loose signal anymore. Is there a fix so i can use the 4g ?
Second problem. I cant use a custom notification sound. I dial 415 to receive a sms just to see if the notification sound changed, and when i receive the sms, it still plays the default sound, i think is called Crystal (the default sound ). But when i receive an email, the notification plays the sound i put. Weird. Is there a fix ?

SIM: Default for calls grayed out

Hello,
I recently moved from Turkey to US and replaced my SIM. When people call me, the calls do not register at all until I receive indication that they have left a voice message. When looking at my settings, the SIM cards & mobile networks setting shows the SIM card, however, the Default for calls area is gray and is set to the third setting, which is a circle with a line through it (not SIM 1 or 2). I have tried EVERYTHING I can think of and cannot change that setting, which I suspect is the issue for not seeing my calls. Any thoughts out there on how to change this?
Thanks!
