can any one help me out ? i am trying to upgrade my G4 from LP to MM. Currently on H81510H, i have tried flashing with 2 different MM KDZ's V20D & V20i but couldn't succeed. LGUP throwing some error at 9% stating that "tot anti rollback version is smaller than device version"
i vexed up reading all the info and finally failed to flash kdz to my device. always getting the same error any inputs from you guys. would be very helpful for me. what am i doing wrong ?
When using LG UP did you use Refurbished or Upgrade option? You should try Refurbished, but you will lose your data, so do a backup first.

something weird is going on... because all the H815 (EU anyway...) KDZs are at ARB 00. Yet his phone is at ARB 02.
So it's some sort of different variant or something. All the KDZs he's trying to use are at 00 but he's at 02... so every KDZ he tries is gonna have same error until he finds a KDZ for his exact bizarro variant with ARB 02.
AFAIK all H815's were always at 00 so not really sure what's going on in this unique case.
Thanks for the confirmation. I was thinking the same thing, that only US carriers had the anti-rollback rolled-in.

Dear SandyKick!
Did you find any KDZ or TOT with ARB 2 or greater? I have the same problem. I want to upgrade my H815 from LP 10H to MM. But LGUP says that anti roll back version is smaller than the device version. And all the KDZs or TOTs of H815 out there are with ARB = 00.
Any solution please???
EDIT: There is something very weird with this phone that I have purchased second-hand. LGUP shows it as H815 10h, while the phone itself shows in the Download Mode H810 10o. And last but not least, the LG Mobile Support Tool (predecessor of LG Bridge tool) shows the current firmware version as H815 10h but says that an updated firmware with version VS986 24c is available!!! Someone has really messed it up before selling it to me.

By the way I have downloaded a TOT with version H815 10H but with ARB 00 from here also available here. Is it possible to hex-edit its ARB version or not???

seems to me you guys have a frankenphone... its says in software a model but it also says another .. so to be sure open up phone .. take out motherboard and read the motherboard plaque model number ... maybe its not a h815 after all. if it says h811 then you use h811 if it says h810 use h810. ect.

I'd get in touch with the rom developer and ask him what I should do, won't risk giving you wrong info sorry :angel:
Maybe editing build.prop or using stock build.prop would work.

can you boot up to os?
If yes than you can do what you want, flash twrp , than erase the system partition so the flash tool will not detect the phone as d855 than flash the tot. Or just flash single partitions as autoprime threads shows. But after you erase the system partition you are more restricted to make other changes. So you could flash a stock based ls990 cm rom.
(please be careful )

I just updated with a printscreen., is in head post.
This is the same version as 20d but for EUR carriers.

Right now i'm on v20c,i have tried even v20d,but for me is not so good v20d because over night i loss 5-6% of batery,with v20c maximum 2% per night. I will try it to see how it's doing even if people are saying there's no difference between v20d and v20e.
have you noticed any changes/ improvements? Is performance decreased as on v20d?

Tested for a couple of days, but unsatisfying
Downloading 20e, than switch to 20c in case
I wonder if this build will stop the version "not matched for mcc" error all EUR users get with V20D?

At a first look, v20e it has a short of lag .. That v20c dosen't
Try to click Settings > Networks and fast click on More,and quick Back button,try doing the same thing but click Display and More and you'll see the difference.
This short of lag isn't present on v20c.
The second thing is the heat,wich is more present on v20e.
The cooling is more quick on v20c.
About mmc code error it didin't happend to me never! And i flashed v20a,b,c,d, and now v20e-Orange , all euro. My phone is a H815 EU.
I think in the end i will get back with v20c until LG release 6.0.1.
Please take in consideration that this is just my opinion and experience so far.
Update: Installed and confirmed. This gets rid of the MCC error when booting on EUR devices. Now a valid ROM for EUR phones.

For me is ok!
This ROM is for Orange Romania only!
It's no true. In Poland this ROM for Orange too. This ROM for Orange EUR.

I have H815T and just flashed V20e KDZ.Finally that error was removed.

I had rooted KitKat on G3. So i tried to unroot it and go back to stock using Lgflash tool. During the process, lgflashtool is now stuck at 6% saying "change partition fail". In device manager ,my PC detects it as "LGE Mobille USB serial Port".
I have tried ADB .but it always show no device.

Some times this can happen due to incompatibility of LG flash tool. You may need to try the same process on a pc running different Windows (Windows 7 32 bit will be great).
If you still have no result then you can also try the process with LGUP tool.

You shouldn't have to use the guide I first posted since your phone is recognized. If you flashed wrong rom with the lgtool will report that model which is incorrect. Take off the battery cover and look around the phone so you have the correct model for your phone and download that kdz. You can use this guide to help. Use the first part.

Unfortunately I opened up my phone and found that my board is replaced with D850. So i flashed D850 tot file.
For you , just flash Europe . If it ends in success.You have flashed the correct tot file. for FM, try to find that your hardware is in working condition.Otherwise just go without FM.

Yes no prob so first you have to download the d851 tot file and the genetic dll and then come here again i will tell you the next step

The only thing I can suggest is back every thing up and then a hard reset.......
i did hardest but still facing no network signals

Suspect in the event your ROM hasn't become corrupted and re-installing the same version doesn't help, you may have a hardware issue.

You can use either of these two methods:
LGUP - NEW!!! - INSTALL KDZ - MM or LP - FACTORY RESET/UPGRADE at https://forum.xda-developers.com/g4/help/lgup-install-kdz-mm-lp-t3249803
LG Flash Tool 2014 - The best way to Flash LG KDZ Rom at https://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2797190
I would suggest using LGUP-NEW first as it tends to cause fewer issues.

As most users complain about only seeing a TOT file on the selection window in LGUP-NEW and not the KDZ they want to flash (until they read the posts and figure out how to direct to their file) I don't see why it wouldn't but, to be sure, post your question to the author of the site from the OP to get a more definitive answer. I personally have only used it to flash a KDZ file myself.

Only way is to find an H81510h file with an anti-rollback version that isn't smaller than the one you're on now. You'll have to search for it and perhaps put a request in at kdz, tot LG G4 [All Variants] (https://forum.xda-developers.com/g4/...iants-t3362423). Access your hidden menu and see what your current roll-back version is so you can be specific.

If you can still get into download mode, it's not dead. If you can get into download mode, look for the right rom for your device or try again and make sure you follow the instruction exactly . Try the other method as well to install if that doesn't work.
I've only tried to help and if you'd done your own searches you most likely would have had the issue develop at some point trying to find the right stock rom.

I think this is outdated and people should use LGUP. To download your firmware you can plug your phone into LG Bridge and click on error recovery. It fails on download for me but if it doesn't then it'll download it there for you. Otherwise you can fake your User Agent with a chrome extension and look at the LG Bridge log for the link to download the firmware. As for the LGUP dll you can use a kdz extractor to retrieve it from your downloaded kdz. I can provide links later on the details if people want to know, I'm just not at my PC at the moment. Also not sure if your carrier has released the update but @op theres a new h update for H933 for most carriers.

It is a USB hardware (Megalock)

I think this is outdated and people should use LGUP. To download your firmware you can plug your phone into LG Bridge and click on error recovery. It fails on download for me but if it doesn't then it'll download it there for you. Otherwise you can fake your User Agent with a chrome extension and look at the LG Bridge log for the link to download the firmware. Also not sure if your carrier has released the update but @op theres a new h update for H933 for most carriers.

Yes, upgrade worked for me refurbish gave an error.
From v10v down to v10f, back to v and then back to f no problem flashing

Yep. I upgrade from 10e to 10v with LG UP and Uppercut.

When i try to upgrade the v300s to android 8.0 by flashing the kdz file, LG UP 1.14 does not work.
Install everything from uppercut thread. After installing open uppercut.exe, it will show lgup. Select .kdz and upgrade then start. It will boot the phone to downloadmode by itself.
I think I've got Uppercut working in a virtual windows machine. Does anyone know where I can find a EU KDZ firmware to flash for my H930? (I'm soft bricked)

Thank you! It flashed fine, accoring to LGUP. But the phone still won't boot. It's stuck on the "LG V30" screen... Wth do I do now..?
