On-ear Headphones with mic

Hey. Recently got a new job and while working I can listen to music. So I've been looking for some decent headphones (on/over the ear only, no earbuds or behind the head types). Looking to spend around $80-100
I'd like them to be comfortable for at least a few hours. I'd like a mic, too. Volume controls don't have to work, but I'd like a play/pause button. Isn't there an app that can make buttons on your headphones work with the phone?
I've been looking at the Klipsch Image ONE's. Look pretty nice, look comfortable, but no idea if the mic works with the GSM, or the controls.
Saw the Sennheiser PX 200-II i, which look a little flimsy, but I'm still considering them.
And these Marshall Majors I can't link. ;p
I also saw the Hesh 2, and Sol Republic's On Ear Tracks.
If anyone has any input on these, or wants to throw some new ones out there, that would help a lot. Just want to make sure I get something with decent sound, a working mic and at least a play/pause button. I'll consider Wireless/Bluetooth ones too.
Thanks, guys.
Just from browsing forums people seem to like the Klipsch S4A ear buds. They come with an android app for the button on the ear buds.

Yeah, I know. I did lots of browsing. But I said I'm not looking for earbuds. Mentioned that in the title. Thanks, though. I'll edit my original post to clarify more.

My mistake then, I was thinking about android controls and the Klipsch S4 was the first thought that popped into my head.
Ive just bought the RAZER electra headset in black, and i can say they are the best on ear headphones ive ever owned! over here they were about £50 so im not sure how much that is in dollars!
Really good trebble, nice middle tones and the bass is brilliant when turned up! it comes with two 3.5mm jack to jacks (the headphones have a 3.5mm out on them that you can lock the jack to jack in) one is just a straight cable, the other is one with a built in mic.
Unfortunately there is no Play/Pause function. But im sure you could program the volume buttons to pause and play when you held them down for 3+ seconds? like the good old sony's walk-man phones!
Let me know if you need any help!
Cheers!
Skullcandy's Roc Nation Aviators are really awesome, don't let the skullcandy brand scare u away, some of the most crisp sound out there. Remote works with android too, I think its like you have to hold the buttons instead of pressing but either way, it works and is awesome...and you can get them on ebay used for like $60 or new for $100 rather than the $150 in the store

Mono Audio

Essentially, this: http://code.google.com/p/android/issues/detail?id=17337
I have searched all around but I can't find anything that applies to stock android, that's why I'm posting this here. I am not deaf in one ear, like a lot of people looking for this feature. I just have a single speaker in my bathroom to listen to music when I'm in there and so it only plays the right ear and I would really like to find some way to force all audio to be in mono. If it's root-only that's okay!
I really appreciate anyone's guidance!

I think the speaker holes is only located there. The other parts are just for aesthetic purpose. I can tell that this is the same even on the HTC One as I had the device before I got the the z1 compact. Covering the right part of the speaker of the HTC One also stops the sound from coming out.

[Q] Can we use front earpiece as speaker like in this thread?

Was seeing XDA news and found this thread, where the earpiece on the front of Note Edge can be used as secondary speaker for louder sound and a bit of surround effect... Can anyone mod this to make it work on note 2? Hope some thing can be done...

You missed one, posted across 4 different sites I'm a Community Reviewer and a Guide on XDA-Developers and AndroidForums. I'm also Contributing Reviewer on Head-fi, and Top400 Reviewer on Amazon. Being known in every community as "Twister/6", and awhile back I signed in as "vectron" on XDA thus a different screen name. Because I have thousands of worldwide readers and followers, I have been asked by them to keep my reviews synced between different communities. Believe me, it's A LOT of work to be writing reviews and keeping it all synced and organized between different communities since I don't have a blog or YT channel to keep it in one place. I like my reviews to have more visibility and a chance to discuss products I reviews.
So what is your question about R70x?
ATH-R70x - a very honest sound.
Ha no questions after I bought them yesterday. Everyone in the store praised them, including fellow customers. One of them commented that they don't do anything right or wrong. That's exactly what tonal neutrality is. Finally, no part of my music is more important than any other; nothing is emphasized or understated. Soundstage and imaging are great. Out of all the Beyerdynamic DT880/990/770/T1, Sennheiser HD800/650/600/598, AKG K702/812/712, Fostex TH500RP/TH900, Shure SRH1840 and a few others that I auditioned, only SRH1540 got close to ATH-R70x in sounding right to me. The ATH-R70x needs more public exposure for sure. Ya'll better get it now before it's a total rarity!

Right on! And the price is great too!
When you say your ears don't touch the driver, I am curious how protruding they are as it seems like the earpads alone cannot create much depth without the drivers being angled in the first place.

Well, you gotta keep in mind that ear will not go inside of the opening so I combination of the plush earpads and their actual slightly angled design creates a space between your ears and a driver grill/cover while still forming a seal, though a seal is pointless because these are the most "transparent" open headphones i have ever seen. It's like you are wearing a pair of high-res speakers on your ears You will hear everything around you and people will hear you playing the music (though not that loud), but you feel like you are inside of a room filled with music. The biggest "selling" point here - everything sounds so effortless and natural.
I see now so you're saying part of your ear is in contact with the pads basically on ear and not around the ear?

Sorry, I have way too many headphones because of all the reviews and sometime forget which one does/fit what lol!!! Just double checked. The earpad (donut) opening is wide enough for my ear to go inside - definitely OVER ear design, but thickness of the pad prevents my ears from touching the inner grill. Again, sorry for the confusion, and hope it clears things out.
Can you recommend a pair of decent pair of headphones in the $50-100 range that I can plug into my phone and listen to music? I have a few $20 pairs but they are not loud enough and sound like crap. I have a Oneplus One (custom ROM) and a ported EQ module with a ton of adjustments? I know you have several threads and figured you would know. Thanks in advance?
