You'll need to flash bigger Gapps package like Stock or Full
or
You can download these from apkmirror.com, copy them to /system/priv-app and give rw-r-r (644) permission and Reboot.

He can also use aroma installer opengapps(remember to install package installer)
And even you should consider trying it

Wasn't it a mistake?
In the second part of your quote I didn't understand almost nothing of what you have written but if you mean "What's the purpose of the forum for you?" the answer is: Downloading Roms, helping users (if they post in the correct section ofc ), checking for news about this device and yes.. also posting a thread if I need some help (after looking on google if it has the answer for my problem).

How to install?
CMW:
1.Install a zip from CMW not LeWa recovery (Thanks zaqwankira for reporting)
2.Reboot

Sorry chanontb and avik_karati2007 forgot to tell you to set perminsions to rw-r-r you might need to reflash rom (it must be LeWa to use this!) or just restore a backup from CMW

use rootexplorer to do that(or other filemanager). long press the file until sub menu pop up then select permission.

yes, you can. Make a nandroid backup first. If there were bugs please report here and I will sort it out for my V2 release. thanks to all who have tried and liked it.

Check the main thread. It's been up for a bit now.
alright ... i managed to decompile and recompile the both APK files without fatal error , except some missing translation.
but however ,after reboot it just goes into bootloop ...
I think the problem is on the SystemUI.apk
I don't know why , i followed exact instruction of yours , restart system UI will have it repeatedly FC'ed , reboot will into loop ...
no error message when recompile it

If your rom does not have signature checking disabled, then you need to copy the AndroidManifest.XML and META-INF folders from the original apk into the new one.

It won't just pop up after doing the mod. You need to flash my enable zip from the main thread OP, or use the csc edit (check jovy23's thread, I think it was in the TMO N3 forums) to have the flashlight toggle added on a clean flash.

Please note ive edited the PA beta 4 lockscreen and 90% chance is there that it will work in beta 5 also
So when installing in other rom make sure you backup before you do anything
if you want this mod to be made for other rom them provide the rom's
framework-res.apk in /system/framework

i am sure you are using a single sim moto e , in dual sim it will always shows the text "No service" and it ruins the lockscreen beauty

Thank you, I will test asap. The rom is nightly build, as lp is quite new, so next nightly will most likely be incompatible, but if you pull through, it will make me stay on this nightly longer
@Prashanth Meesara - I have thought about it, and being that the builds im running is nightlies, and that LP is as new as it is right now,
i find it nearly pointless to hack the XML of a file changing on every build, right now. In the end, the option to remove carrier will come for the ROM when ready Thank you for your time though, and your willingness to help out! :good: Its greatly appreciated!

Hi.. Just check cyanogen site. It says that the zip has to flashed only on cm 12. 1 and above rom. I doubt it would work on our O2 rom

That's the basis for open distribution. Everything is a niche. Get used to it. That's why we differing GAPPS packages, different ROMs, and a choice in our operating system.

No different then existing apps in cm12.1 ... This are apps u find on cyanogen rom on oneplus one or yu yuthopia etc.
