Can't find v20 accessories on lg website??? - LG V20 Accessories

Am I missing something?? I figured that the phone's manufacturer would have a slew of model specific accessories shown on their own website, but I am not having any luck. I figured it was due to fact I was searching pre 10/28 launch date, but nothing has changed since.
Hoped it was mobile browser error, but get same results on PC.
AM I MISSING SOMETHING????
Did I get spoiled by Samsung?
Very few of top tiered accessory manufactures even have V20 listed on their website?????

Welcome to the stupidity!
Yes. Spoiled by Samsung. It's as if no other phones exist besides iPhone and Samsung. Of course I had a note 2 before my v10 and that was an accessory ghost town too since everything was about the "s" series back then.
I hope they get their act together and at least get the batteries and battery charging kits up soon! Makes no sense at all. The phone has been out for a while not counting the US.
Come on LG! Take our money!

It is my assumption that most of the spare battery kits on eBay are promo gifts that Korean owners have gotten.
Just like 256GB cards from note 7 flooded eBay.

Not true, 256GB cards are available for you to buy, they have been released by samsung a few months ago, and also the battery kit is also available as a standalone, you can buy it as special offer with purchase with the phone or on it's own at a slightly higher price. some countries has released them including Hong Kong.
I'm still considering whether to buy the battery kit.
Purchased with the phone USD 30
purchased alone USD 39

Starting to feel like second class citizen owning this phone due to lack of top tier accessory manufacturer offerings.
Just got put on hold and disconnected by LG customer service after asking why they had no V20 accessories on, or after launch day. She was probably too embarrassed to answer???

This is nothing new with LG & The North American market, been like this for years & apparently, not gonna change any time soon.
You'll have to scour sites such as e-Bay/Amazon/MobileFun/LG's sites in Korea/Hong Kong.
Sometimes, some OEM accessories become available in North America at a time well past launch, but,by that time, why bother....................

This must be your first LG. They are terrible at supporting their devices with accessories.

$450, BNIB from Craigslist
You'd be fortunate to find it for under $600. If you do, jump on it. It will be expensive for a long time, or at least until a GSM carrier offers if on contract in the US. Then it will fall.

Your point? I purchased the one that is for $622 and it came as yakjuxw and not 'yakju.' None of this matters, it can be changed in <5 minutes.
Just silly how they offer both versions with one of them being the higher price.

Of course it doesn't matter. I bought the canadian and flashed it to yakju in 5 minutes too...
I'm saying this is why theyre differentiating between the two. Their indication is the more expensive one has a higher chance to be yakju (theyre sourcing them from the UK often, but Latin America recently). The Canadian one has a * in the description saying its on 4.0.1 and not updated by Google (or something to that effect).
The real reason why they're selling them a tad cheaper is probably because the CAN versions come with a US-standard charger and they don't have to include one (they have to open and replace chargers in the other ones). And they probably got a big batch buy and got to offer a lower price because of it.
POINT BEING that people should just buy the cheaper CAN version if they are available.

And if the person gets the more expensive one and it ends up not being 'yakju' what happens there? because what you just said is that it has a higher chance of being 'yakju' but mines came as 'yakjuxw.'
Honestly, if someone was to buy the Galaxy Nexus from Negri it'd be a no brainer to get the $595 one. Negri should just get rid of the $622 one and have them both at the same price. Makes no sense, logically speaking.

Yes it clearly doesn't matter. They're not making a guarantee, but rather a disclosure on the CAN version that they know it won't be yakju.

I doubt majority of users will even know the difference of 'yakju' and non-yakju variants. But back to the topic because that's a silly argument
Get it from Negri they will honor a one-year warranty on your device whereas other places may not. I know Expansys honors warranties. These warranties are done through the place you bought it from and not Samsung.
Samsung will not honor warranties from grey-marketed sales.

I'd like to know this also. I would expect Amazon (one of the confirmed launch stockists) to allow pre-orders as they do on pretty much everything else. But haven't seen it listed on there yet
Let me know if you manage to find it elsewhere for pre-orders, cheers!
I pre ordered from Mobilefun (http://www.mobilefun.co.uk/motorola-moto-360-smartwatch-black-leather-p46710.htm) - ships as soon as stock avialable...
Clove have preorder too.
I'm concerned about pre ordering from the above sites as they are not listed as launch sellers. With how limited supply was in USA i'm not sure that these sellers will receive their stock till later than Amazon, Tesco,JL, etc.
Absolutely pointless "pre-ordering" from these sites. First, as mentioned above, there is no guarantee they will have it in stock because 1) they weren't announced as official resellers and 2) after Motorola's fail release in the US, I'm willing to bet there won't be enough stock for the official resellers let alone these third party ones.
I would add further that you are better of buying from the official resellers when the time comes because you will get better after sales support from them. For instance, I know that John Lewis offers a 2 year warranty with all their electrical products. I don't know about you but I'd much rather deal with John Lewis than Mobilefun.

Agree mostly just top clarify, I'm not saying that the resellers are bad and offer poor support, (I have personally dealt with mobilefun and expansys and both are excellent) just that with low stock I'm not expecting these guys to be the first suppliers to stock the watch.
This is my issue, I only want a pre-order that's guaranteeing launch day availability. I guess we're going to have to wait longer for some official word, that is if there are any guarnateed pre-orders at all...

Wouldn't mind knowing myself, took a punt on the LG Watch R at the weekend, which is nice but would prefer the Zen. I have it preordered at Expansys at the moment, got in while they were taking orders rather than just the register interest page they have up now.
I had some interest in LG G Watch R because of the circular display but I think the watch is a bit too chunky. Will have a look at expansys

I'm currently using the LG Watch R and had the same thoughts as you, but it's not as bad as I imagined it would be. However I still have my preorder with Expansys and will decide on which one I want to keep once it arrives. Hopefully soon!
Hi all,
I pre ordered mine here: http://www.expansys.fr/asus-zenwatch-eu-265396/
Please note I'm from France.
Anyone got any news with UK release? Hopefully comes before Christmas so I can get myself a Christmas present
Noticed this morning that Simply Electronics list this on their site for £184.95. Also that they've got 5 in stock and make no mention of it being imported. Considering a UK launch date or price hasn't been announced (that I know of) I'd be very sceptical.
UPDATE: A glance at some Google Shopping reviews suggests they might not be on the level.
they are based in HK and have some very dodgy reviews - actually rang them this morning asking whether it is uk stock and this wasn't clearly answered. I then asked about customs duty and they just said its an all inclusive price - bollox. Expect duty and RM charges on top....
I actually remember I nearly bought a camera off this lot a couple of years back but they aren't exactly truthful about location of item or taxes etc - means you'll pay customs and it'll be regarded as a grey import without warranty.
I think its sad that ASUS are dragging their feet on this. I've looked at big daddy in the US but again with their $40 fee and customs, its getting expensive!
Need an american friend to buy and send as a gift!
Anyone heard anything more on the UK release?
Avoid Simply B'S they are HK based

I decided to try se after I discussed at length where the watch was coming from (uk or abroad) , the warranty, etc. I was told it's coming from the UK. Has a UK se warranty. Ordered last week and the amount of bull I've been fed since is unreal. Been told due to amount of orders they should be able to post it by mid December! Even though they originally said 10 days..... I queried why it should even take 10 days?! They are full of sh.....
If and when it arrives, if it's not a UK warranty, I will charge it back through my credit card as I will have been mis sold the item according to trading standards. Mmm I will then follow up with trading standards and ensure they are put out of business based on their mis-sellibg practices... At least in the uk/as a UK seller.
Anyway, still no UK date grrr

Don't order from Simply Electronics. The product they have is not certified anywhere and is dodgy. They quote low prices to draw people in and you very stung after. I got taken in by the cheap price if a macbook air but it wasn't European certified or certified by America FFC. They're customer services is rubbish and they don't reply and when they do they try to get you to keep the product at a reduced cost. I had to complain through PayPal and eventually got all my money back. Lesson learnt. They are based in HK but have warehouses in UK and Europe. If you ever do order then be wary as they're not that easy in returning and will try to get away with charges to deduct from the amount you paid on receipt of a return. I would suggest you all keep away like you would with the plague!! All the reviews online are rubbish and are made up to make them look good.

Expansys have changed from a "keep me notified" page to a pre-order page. I don't know whether that's due to a site relaunch (can't recall whether I've seen that design before), or whether it's changing.
BTW, for a while now, I haven't seen Simply listed on the Google Shopping page when searching for the Zenwatch.

I have a zenwatch in my possession in the UK. It was ordered from the US via Big Apple Buddy. I ordered it on Friday 5th December at around 2100, paid by PayPal and had it - with shipping & tracking information and regular updates - delivered by FedEx by 1030 on Monday 8th December.
The total cost was around $285, including service charges, but felt this was still pretty good value in the realm of early adoption, given the interminable wait for the damn thing to reach the UK.
I can vouch for the fact that Big Apple Buddy are entirely safe and reputable.
And the watch? Well worth it, especially with 5.01 sideloaded.
I looked at them^ but they came back much more expensive than this!
I've just ordered a Gear VR from Samsung US using .comGateway - very reasonable $20 plus postage.

I don't think the retailers know themselves when they are getting them in. Its the problem with releases like this. I cant under stand while the whole of europe did not get it at the same time and why it cant be a world wide release. If they had a worldwide release date and an simple advertisement with the specs and price they would sell way more units

I agree, such a PITA with selected places having it released at different times.
Apparently it won't even be released officially in South Africa, so I need to import it somehow. Orange store might be bringing in some stock, although so far they only have the 2GB version on their site.
The phone is priced really well for the specs and therefore will become really popular in a lot of places. I think Asus need to adjust their model numbering a bit and consider better releases next time around.
A simple change in model number would have made life so much easier. ZE550ML, ZE551ML (2GB RAM, 1.8Ghz model), ZE552ML (4GB RAM, 2.3Ghz model). Something as simple as that would have made life that much easier.
Not to mention a worldwide release. Asus are a massive company who have been releasing various products for years. They should have this waxed.
The shipping date on the French Asus Shop has chased me away from ordering via them. It kinda feel as if Asus made a few phone which they planned on releasing early on and then had plans to delay the release date for the rest of the world. Sigh.
Well, even the shipping date from the official asus shop has expired. I have no news from them. Usually I would receive an automated email on every status change of my order.
Asus was probably not prepared for such a big demand.

Hi all book with darty 1/04 and Date push, darty must receive the week of 20/04 to 26/04 phones so I ba patient.
From what I have read, there was a misunderstanding between French online shops and Asus. Asus claims the main delivery date planned was on the 20th of April to the online shops and not earlier. Meaning apart for some lucky guys who may have gotten it earlier, the ZE551ML will not be shipped until the 21st I guess.

Do you have some links for this? Wasn't there already enough confusion related to spec sheets when the preordering started? If I wanted to pre-order a device in order to receive it 1 month later, I would be buying apple products.
If this turn out to be the case, I may reconsider my choice and go for a G3 or M8.
Sent from my GT-I9300 using XDA Free mobile app
It has been confirmed on asus' Twitter account
Thanks for sharing the pics
Because of that, I am now considering other phones as well (G3 is among them )
Sounds like someone from the marketing division has to get fired. This already started with the chaos around having multiple configurations (in terms of CPU) sharing the same model ID. This led to all sites, including the official asus shop, listing the wrong spec sheets for a couple of days. Now the saga continues with wrong release dates communicated to the small list of exclusive retailers. A real shame. If I come across a decently priced M8, I will cancel my ZF2 order and get the M8.
There was French guy on another thread claiming that he already received his ZE551ML. Would you mind letting us know where and when you ordered it?
Mine is from the official asus shop, ordered on March 28. No news since then.

I just received reply from Asus shop support. They say that they are unable to provide a new shipping date and they have raised the issue on a higher level, and will revert as soon as there is more information available.
In other words, somebody f'cked in regards of specs and availability communication and nobody actually has a clue about what's going on.

The ASUS Store is still a mess... How can you label an item as "on Stock" but say that the shipping date is before the 6th May...

same thing on cdiscount but its not their mistake but asus....i have decide to cancel my order if the phone is not delivered until thursday....i had enough of that...the problem is with the orders in europe...i read somewhere that the high demand in china overcome the expectations of asus and batches of phones end up in china and not europe.well i can tell you that LG has pretty good chances of getting my money!!!!

LG V30 UK launch

Just seen today, those of us waiting in the UK for the V30, carphone warehouse has claimed exclusivity on the new device!
Coming in at a whopping (UK drew the short straw price) £800! #still cheap than an iPhone X.
Shipping estimated at the 1st of November!
Fyi
Did they forget to do a currency conversion? $800 is about £600

That's actually cheap considering the USA has to pay taxes and yours are included.

Haha I'm working in the UK from the States.... Its like they take the USD price on everything and just put their £ without changing the numbers.

That's what Apple always did, even when the ratio was 2-1.
Always been a Nexus fan, skipped the Pixel as at the time my 6P was enough for me needs, If the Pixel 2 leaks are true I was going to go with the V30, now I've seen the price think ill get a S8 or Oneplus 5

You are forgetting the asking "price" is not THE real "street" price AFTER launch. LG phones drop in price considerably a month or two after launch. Go look on eBay or Amazon and see what a new 32GB LG G6 is going for now?
This one is the European carrier unlocked model, which also qualifies for bootloader unlock:
NEW LG G6 H870 4GB 32GB ASTRO BLACK 13MP EUROPE MODEL ANDROID 7.0 4G SMARTPHONE (£388.99)
Yet, back in June it was £649. SEE? £260 DROP in price in 4 months.

June 09, 2017:
The LG G6 has an eye-watering £649 SIM free RRP in the UK, which is astronomical given we're used to seeing phones from this brand come in at almost half that cost after a few months of being on sale.

Sure enough, it's now almost half the cost since beginning of summer.
I'm going to wait for the carrier unlocked version (mid-November) and then I'm going to wait until the carrier unlocked version is listed on LG's official bootloader unlock list (probably end of December).
By then, hey the price will have dropped dramatically, I predict.

Has the dual-SIM version been scrapped?
Pre-ordered mine from Mobiles.co.uk on O2. 3gb data unlimited texts and minutes. £29 per month and £150 up front. Used code vc15off to make that £135 up front.
Coming from a Nexus 6p. Have liked stock android but not impressed with the Pixel 2 XL decision to not have a 3.5mm headphone jack. Plus it looks too damned huge.
Short list was;
- Sony XZ Premium - camera distortion issues put me off
- Samsung Note 8 - Size, weight, poor audio output
- Nokia 8 - Lack of cases, screen protectors
Waiting for the 1st November.
