What about the ability to play .avi (DivX/XviD)? or iTunes syncing capability (Not that I care about that). It is the video playback one I am interested in?
New features!
Also note that internet has some new options in the settings, the icons are updated, there are the stock 2.2 features such as market auto-update, some more stock apps have been added and there are a few new widgets (calculator, market, etc). Also some new changes in settings - for example the security app now allows pin lock or pattern lock and the menu here has been reorganised to make selection easier)
can anyone at least tell me whether the fps of the 720p videocrecording is acceptable?
How does the itunes sync business work?
Has anyone tried the chrome to phone extension ?
It doesn't work for me, phone is connected but it just says "Sent to the phone", and then nothing.
Also, the new "News and meteo" app has an error in the translation of the italian days:
It's L-G-M-G-V-S-D instead of L-M-M-G-V-S-D. I hate thursday, I don't want to have two thursday in a week >:|
Edit: nevermind, I rebooted the phone and Chrome To Phone works perfectly
Also the screen can be rotated right as well
News widget still doesn't update automatically but they've fixed the Facebook pic not updating in your contact numbers if your friends change their profile pic.
One down, one to go now!

Can I change the news location? I can change the weather location correctly but I keep getting Dutch (Netherlands) newsfeeds in Belgium.

I have a non rooted AT&T Note II 4.1.2 build JZ054K.I317UCMA4
I don't know why or how, I was able to get a preview in the notification bar of the picture in the MMS I received. it didn't last very long doing that for me though. And now, I only get an "images" or "slide show" displayed in the notification bar next to the contact name. I do still get previews of an SMS in the notification bar along with the contact name and a picture of the contact. Any ideas or similar experiences? Does your phone display a preview of the picture in an mms in the notification bar?
I did further testing and figured it out. If you enable Blocking Mode in Settings the notification bar will be limited. Thus, disabling the ability in the notification bar to archive, reply with Gmail as well as MMS will now longer show a preview of the image attached.

There is nothing much to understand in this app anyways.. their official website has stated what this app can do...
so..
if I've understand how this app works the app itself read whatsapp messages and show them outside the app, so if I open WA my status will be update but if I read the same message from the toolkit there will not be any update, right?

I installed the app and then it asked to make a backup, made it and then when i received a ping it dint dispaly it in whatsapp toolbox.
When i clicked on the msgs from notification drawer it went to actual whatsapp app.
I am on RASTAKAT 4.4 ROM.
Just open the WhatsApp toolbox if there are chats thn simply chat from whatsapp toolbox not from main whatsapp app.. that's it..

The lockscreen privacy settings has 3 options:
1. Show all notification info - self explanitory
2. Hide sensitive info - only shows the app name that has notified you
3. Do not show any notifications - self explanitory
My question is with regard to option #2:
When I receive text messages, I'd like to know who is sending the message, but I don't want the message contents to be displayed on the lockscreen. Is there any way to make this happen?

Here is my problem:
I receive a SMS (or EMAIL, Whatsapp, snapchat etc... let's say a "message-like notification") --> I get an icon in the notification bar
I swipe down the notification bar and tap the notification --> it opens the message (according to the concerned app)
Then I tap home to get back to ... home^^ --> notification icon is still shown in notification bar.
I must swipe down the notification bar once more to make the icon disappear
Do you guys have this issue?
I use APEX launcher.
