Great work Ram. Thanks for opening the thread again.

Fantastic! Always great to see some love for the Sprint variant. Thanks a lot

Would like to confirm that the "P" version is only V1 there is no V2 for Sprint is that correct? as I do not see a "V2" in the filename.
Also I see in the source it is based on PH2.
Thank you very much for your work.

All veriants except F are V2 as all are based on common source. I am also having V2 for F ready but need tester.

Thank you sir. You may want to edit the OP to include V2 in the filename to remove confusion.

Thank you for your work.
Not many kernels here specific to our device. And Your kernels run the coolest on the N7 ports.

So glad to see a dedicated kernel for n910p. Just flashed it to replace current h-vitamin. Which kernel tool to go with this kernel, kernel auditor or synapses? Any recommended settings?
Sent from my N910P PH4 on Norma N7 V8, H-Vitamin Kernel

Is there a current n7 port available for download for sprint?

No not yet its being worked on
Sent from my SM-N930P using Tapatalk

Will the n7 port cause our notes to erupt into flames?

For authenticity's sake I hope so.

@Ram121 Thank you so much for this kernel!! btw can you release it without the supersu patch included on the ramdisk?

If you don't want the Supersu, just use winrar open in your PC then delete the Supersu folder... I did it with V1 and it flash fine.

Can you flash the IMG as a kernel in twrp or does it have to be through adb? I'm running this right now and all is smooth. Haven't tested battery yet but with kernel auditor app tweaks I've got the temp running low. Very happy with this. Thanks to marionette and thanks to you if the battery is improved.

Sorry, but can't boot CM 12-20161103-UNOFFICIAL-idol3.zip
I have blue Cyano logo, then optimizing apps (Android is starting, Optimizing xxx of 87, installed pico GApps), then blue Cyano logo again, optimizing apps again... kind a bootloop.
Updating contacts... Finishing boot, then dimmed brightness blue Cyano logo, again & again
6045Y model.
Tested the 2 versions you uploaded = bootloop.
All was going well for me, until I did a reboot and my APN and sim no longer worked. Nothing would help it. 3/11 build.

For experiment i ported my CM12.1 kernel to this Mookee rom:
https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B-Fin8UxrD6PTjRHbVBDTUY2dWM/view
This kernel was compiled from X Anwar source so it has a ton governors + i/o stuff.
Note: MTP is working.
Maybe it will be needed for someone.
Note2: Kernel from other roms will be incompatible with this Mokee rom without ramdisk bring up for Mokee.
NOTICE
Update your Kernel
The kernel I've released with the first build was a SELinux Enforcing kernel (which I don't give support anymore).
I've forgot to update command-line, sorry.
A new SELinux Permissive kernel has been just released, and the SELinux Enforcing kernel was deleted.
Now, download bootMK-20160324_2-SELinuxPermissive.img and flash it:
Code:
fastboot flash boot bootMK-20160324_2-SELinuxPermissive.img
fastboot erase cache
fastboot reboot

But this version below is working on my CM-based roms:

Try to get a good working kernel is not realy easy.
The most problem is my time.
I compile a working kernel, but not have the time to fix all the issues.

Hi to all..

I am far away from my computer.... In case of bootloop... Will try it when I am back home??
Can you let me do some testing. I got plenty for time today.
Hi...so now its kernel time
Sorry for my second delay.
This is my test kernel for all who likes to test it.
You have to go to recovery and flash it
PLEASE BACKUP YOUR BOOT Partition!!
So you can flash back yout stock kernel
If you flash back boot partition , you have to rename inside /system/lib/modules the texfat.old to texfat.ko. This is the stock texfat module which we cant use for custom kernel for now.

I've just installed your V2 with no problems at all... I had to reboot twice for magisk to pass safety net.. Everything seems to be working OK... What differences should I be noticing?
Thanks for your hard work on this kernel.

[KERNEL][Oreo/P]Ether Kernel

Ether
The kernel for enthusiasts
This kernel is built BY a ROM enthusiast FOR a ROM enthusiast.
The features will always revolve around customization and fluidity.
For now; the kernel includes a SafetyNet patch and KCAL patches to provide easy access to custom color profiles.
The main idea is upstream stability, and ROOT-ability. This kernel can be flashed to the latest android P preview, followed by the latest Magisk beta to obtain root on the latest developer preview.
The Idea
This kernel is meant to be absolutely bear-bones MINIMAL.
In an ideal world, this would mean a safety-net patch, custom cross-compiler/toolchain, and bare-minimum quality-of-life patches (like KCAL for night-light/blue-light-filter).
Requests
You may DM me with feature requests, and I'm sure I will compile a custom kernel for you with the features you request, however I cannot guarantee you a place in the master branch of my Ether kernel. This is simply because this is meant to be absolutely barebones.
Source
The source code is available at my github here. I encourage you to poke around and try to build your own kernel with your own custom patches. It's a very rewarding experience and I'm sure 'hackers' will love to play around with your builds.
I have attached some releases here, I'm sure, but the latest release will always be available at my github releases

If you're on a custom ROM you sometimes need to remove the dtbo.img file from the zip. I think I'm using an older version of Anykernel. I'll add an updated zip to the OP in a few minutes to see if that sorts it out.

Flashed on a friends F variant, Thanks for the contribution ! He digs the options
On another note, Are there any snapdragon kernels?
